Didn't work the whole weekend we were there (4 days)- they said one of the guests blocked the wifi for the entire hotel, but then after they "fixed" it- still didn't work # gym- costs 5 euro per visit! # walking distance from room to restaurant- far! #the location of the hotel is in Rhodes island, kolymbia, not rodos! It's 25 km from rodos city and about 35 euro in a taxi or 3.9 euro in a bus (about 40 min by bus) #The center of kolymbia is very very lousy and lame! #most of the receptionists were gross and not nice at all! The only sweet one was the brunette #when we checked in the room wasn't ready and they let us wait in the lobbi although the lunch was serving in the restaurant and we were full board and deserved all meals (we already paid at check in) - only when my husband asked if we could eat meanwhile waiting, that said yes but it's closing in half an hour... Not cool! # very uncomfortable beds! Hard as a rock! # very expensive jet skis (40 euro for 15 min ride) #very expensive vacation!

Review 12：#New and clean place #Huge! #very very nice pretty and clean pools # nice guests, quite and no kids:)) #big rooms #we had a nice view from the terrace to the Laguna pool (they have 2 pools) #we stayed at the 2nd floor of the bungalo # we paid extra 15 euro per person per day for an upgrade from full board (3 meals) to all inclusive (includes drinks and free alcohol) it was very worth it! I drank 5 milkshakes a day! My husband drank every alcohol on the menu:)

Review 15：We stayed in April and the weather was cold. I would expect a free warm pool, but it was for additional cost. The name 'bungalow' does not reflect the reality. It is just a usual room.

Review 21：Dinner finished at 9pm, too early. We went in for dinner after 8 most days and it wasn't very relaxing rushing through dinner. Enough sun beds for everyone but the ones by the smaller pool where there is a bit more shade were reserved every day before 8am, rather annoying.

Review 22：Beautifully appointed room. Lovely pools with loads of space around to sit. Great food, so much choice even for vegetarians. We weren't all inclusive so just went down the beach to lovely tavernas for lunch and also for drinks after dinner.

Review 23：There was a hot water malfunction and we had to wait a whole day for a hot shower (guessing it was because it was the first day raining(/ We were surprised when we were charged 5 euros per person in order to use the gym and an extra 5 to swim in a heated swimming pool (which was told to us was a Jacuzzi) We were also very surprised to find out that for each meal you had to pay 3.30 euro for water. When we asked for tap water we didn't receive it.

Review 24：The hotel is brand new, clean, specious. The access to the beach was extremely comfortable and the beach itself was clean and had lots of sunbeds. The swimming pool was the best! clean, quite and just beautiful. There were no children around, just as promised which contributed to the relaxing vacation.The food was great and every meal had an impressive assortment of everything you can possibly think of. The location of the hotel is perfect and just a walk away from the main road.

Review 25：When this are almost perfect you only notice the things that are not entirely perfect. - The pool looks really nice during night-time, but you are apparently not allowed to swim in it (if you are noisy). -The bottom of our glass-bathroom door made a noise against the floor when it was opened. - The outdoor lighting was really nice but there was one lamp on one of the buildings behind the big pool that must have been placed by an amateur. But one probably won't notice that lamp unless you posses background knowledge about outdoor lighting. - The shops in the area mostly have the same tourist stuff (hats and slippers). So no shopping unless you have a fetish for hats and slippers. - Beach sand was very hot, one needs to buy slippers. - Wanted to read a book on the beach but ended up only looking at nice girls. Actual downsides - TV din't work very well in our room. - Internet was really bad. And not free( it was free in the lobby/reception area). In 2014. Internet is like electric power, it should work and it should be included.

Review 26：- Staff i really nice, friendly and helpful. - Rooms are large and good looking. - The outside area of the hotel and beach is a very nice place to be. (The hotel got the best part of that beach reserved for guests) - The food served is tasty, they serve a lot of different things, and the dining atmosphere is relaxing and nice. - They had some nice outdoor pubs in Kolybia with where I could watch my sport team play on a screen. - Read some reviews about a noisy neighboring hotel, but we din't notice that.

Review 27：Top pool could've had more pool chairs Wifi was only in the lobby and took 10 mins to log on as only approx 5 people could log on at a time. You had to purchase water - tap water was not served Particular staff were rude to a number of people - especially Gusta. In fact the only two nice and effective people that worked at the restaurant were Irini and Anastasia.

Review 38：Staff were mostly friendly and professional, especially all 3 barmen. Quality and selection of drinks excellent. Comfort and relaxation excellent. Food was good, with large selection. Football pitch very good. Easy access to beach and town centre.

Review 39：The only negative point we have noticed is that we bought a bottle of wine and wanted to kept it from the next day but they have lost it. So they give us an other bottle that was absolutly not the same and already open. After complaining about it to the manager, they give us a new one of the first wine we ordered so at least, there was no problem anymore.

Review 40：Actually, we almost like everythings. The staff were kind and accessible. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was plenty and there was a lot of choice, same for the dinner. The hotel is next to little shops and bars if you want to move or buy a few things. They also give us an access to a room to take a shower because we had a plane later in day, but you have to ask for it and went an hour before because there is some other people waiting for it.

Review 57：I hate sunbed reserving and unfortunatly it happens a lot at the Port Royal, some are covering the beds at 07.00am and the managers let it happen, if you dig deep and look around its usually possible to get sun beds but why let this happen in the first place, cleaners didnt replace milk for coffee in the room on three occasions, might be nothing but its the little things that count, tap on shower faulty, asked to have it fixed but didnt happen, electric kept tripping in the room and kept switched off the air conditioning. last issue was they charged 12 euros an hour to keep the room if your flight is late evening, we paid 48 euros in total, which leaves a bitter taste when leaving a hotel, A little noise from next doors hotel, but no problem and its usually through the day anyway. After staying at a similar five star hotel in Rhodes last year, in comparison I would say the Port Royal is 4.5 star.

Review 58：The staff were very helpful and generally the hotel was very clean, food is good, drinks are expensive 30 Euros for three G&T's and a water, plenty of local shops and bars, fairly quiet area, had a good holiday so the little issues didnt spoil things

Review 72：The noise. Left and right of the hotel are clubs, playing music frommidday until midnight, our complaint to the hotel was answered with'can do nothing against' attitude. The staff was most of thetimes friendly but did not walk the extra mile, so we did not feel likebeing in a 5 star hotel. The rooms are no bungalows a stated in thedescription but part of bigger buildings, also the ones 'directly bythe beach', which means 50 m away from the beach. The food qualitywas intermediate, almost never seafood. You have to pay for all drinkson top, even water. Overall we were disappointed and would not recommendthis hotel to anyome who expects more than large quantities of food froma 5 star hotel

In general web site pictures verypretty but I would not go back to that hotel for a holiday even if itwas free. A horrible 4 days in a real low class tourist trap. The townof Kolimbia has got to be the most awful place I have travelled to. Wecalled it "the hood".... Stay far far away

Really doing their best to satisfy the guests. The food is fine. The beach is not the best one I have ever seen, but clean, sand and pebble.
