Review 7：Nothing really. If you plan to stay here I would suggest you rent a quad bike/car (very cheap) rather than using the bus.
Review 8：The staff is very friendly and helpful. They arranged transport from and to the airport and also helped us in renting a quad bike from the locals. The rooms are spacious, including a balcony with a view and very clean. Large pool area. They got us coffee and small croissants every morning.
Review 9：Nearly the best place to stay on Santorini. The owners are very friendly and they are really great hosts! Every morning I got a coffee and a croissant! I have never had such a clean hotel on the island. The hotel is located in the middle of Santorini, but for going through the island a car or a scooter is useful. I highly recommend this hotel!!!

Review 11：It was a beautiful little villa, our rooms were kept impeccably clean and Gelly was so so helpful. She organised our quad bikes for us and helped with transport and everything else we asked. She was very kind and I really enjoyed our stay. The outside and pool area was beautiful also. The location is good - I enjoyed the peacefulness and there was shops nearby without it being in the main towns of Fira or Oía. And Fira was a short drive away on the bikes.
Review 12：Unfortunately the wifi was very unreliable. It would have been great to be given a map of the island or have one in the room.
Review 13：Hiring a mode of transport is a must to get around. A supermarket and the bus from the ferry is a 5-10 walk away. The pool is wonderful and the pool area is set up nicely with lounges, umbrellas and tables and chairs.

Review 17：Villa Danezis!!! It is a wonderful and lovely family villa. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Evangelia helped me and my fiancee to organise many trips and journeys. The place is clean and cosy.
Review 18：- The villa is in a nice quiet location and the best spot, in the middle of the island, easy to get everywhere from here. - you need to rent a ride to get somewhere from here, thats obvious, so all negative comments are only because of this. - really good coffee every morning! - so kind and nice stuff / owners
Review 19：We were on holiday for a week with 5 adults and 2 young children aged 10 and 20 months. The location was out of the way so car hire was a must. There are no footpaths around the Villa and the roads are extremely dangerous so walking wasn't an option. There are no catering facilities and the nearest shop is very basic. There are no cooking facilities either so eating out for all meals was necessary. With 2 young babies it was like military manoeuvres. The cold water tap didn't work in my son's room and when he told the owner he simply said they would fix it when he had gone. This caused difficulty as he was having to sterilise the babies bottles etc and had to use our water. We had a late flight on the last day and although the owner let us keep our room until 12 noon. It meant we had 8 and half hours waiting around the pool. The rental car had gone back so we had no transport. They also asked us to leave the Villa premises at 16:00 as they had other guests. I thought this was very rude, we then had to wait 4 hours at the very tiny, packed Santorini airport. Which didn't even have baby changing facilities. The stuff nightmares are made of.
Review 20：The location was beautiful. Very central for all areas of Santorini. The Villa rooms and outside areas were very clean. The pool was lovely and very quiet, it felt like we had our own private Villa

Review 25：There was no shower head in the bathroom. The water pressure was low and it made it difficult to take shower while holding the shower head with one hand. The drain in the shower was poor and water was standing still in the tub after a 5 minutes shower.
Review 26：The hotel is owned and run by a family. They provided us with complimentary coffee in the morning. The hotel is located 10-15 minutes from the city center- Mesaria. We had to rent a car to get around the island. There is a big market within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel has a pool ( 8 am to 8 pm) but we didn't get to use it as it was windy during our stay.
Review 27：Hilly location with great views but unless you have transport not the best hike in the sun from the main shops in Messaria. Rooms are very spacious but the bathroom is quite small. No plug sockets near the dressing table so you have to stand near the bathroom to do your hair. Also the stool to dressing table is so low you cannot see in mirror if you are sat down so again have to stand to do your make up.. These really are very picky points as I really could not fault the accommodation overall. The beds are quiet firm so if you are used to a soft bed they do take some getting used to.
Review 28：Fantastic pool area with nice beds and quiet location. Rooms cleaned everyday by very friendly staff and family. Free airport transfers by the owners father (lovely man). We hired a quad for the week which was arranged through the owner and it was about a ten minute drive into Fira. The island is easy enough to get around with transport so we visited all the beach including Red Beach which is the only sand beach and was a bit disappointing. The rooms are spacious and we had a great balcony view (room 7) looking out at Fira. Owners and family were very friendly and the accommodation and grounds were super clean!
Review 29：There is nothing really close-by. Public transportation in Santorini is very good and inexpensive, but the location of the hotel makes it unpractical to use it. Renting a scooter (NOT a car, there is no parking anywhere in Santorini!) or a quad is a must.
Review 30：Extremely, almost surgically, clean. The staff is pretty amicable, and the pool was, also, very clean and surprisingly low on chlorine. The room was big enough, the bed pretty comfortable and the place is QUIET (can't state that enough!)

Review 60：The hotel is really nice, rooms and swimming pool are clean, big and comfortable. The landlord lives upstairs, thus, if you need anything, he can help you. Obviously, I suggest renting a car because the villa is outside the main village of Fira. But the location is really nice, especially if you like quiet places during the night.

Review 64：The staff at Villa Danezis is very friendly and helpfull. The hotel itself is centrally located, which makes it an excellent starting point to explore the different towns and beaches and other sites of the island. The rooms are very nice and tastefull, with all practical things you would need, like a big refridgerator, which is a huge plus in the summer season. I consider this the best vacation I ever had, very romantic and relaxing and the atmosphere of hotel and the staff contributed a lot to this. We loved our stay at Villa Danezis and we would definitely go there again a next time.
