Reviews for El Greco
Review 1:At the reception I had the impression that the customer is undesirable. The mattress was old and in disrepair. The towels had stains and hard to use. The remote control of the televevisionv not working. In the morning there was no hot water and the overall picture was abandoned rooms
Review 2:That I had only to sleep and go away
Review 3:Hotel is in need of refurbishment. No hot water Not paticulary clean and beds very uncomfortable. Staff would not accept plastic,so had to go to ATM to get cash to settle bill. Would not stay there again
Review 4:The wifi speed was good
Review 5:A lot, but again for one night stay is ok. As long as you don't stay in the room to much...
Review 6:For one night stay, it's ok... go in room take a sleep and leave...
Review 7:great parts of the hotel are in a desolate condition, very strange atmosphere, the AC (very old) brings smell into the room, I would not recommend it!
Review 8:Near to the ferry
Review 9:No lock on the balcony door, not normal hot water and heating, poor lights in the room and on the corridors, very old-fashioned and run-down the whole hotel. And the worst was, I chose this hotel for the free bikes. THERE ARE NO FREE BIKES!!!!! At all not a good value for the price.
Review 10:Good location, wi-fi in the room, allowed early check-in, beautiful sea view.
Review 11:Old fashioned bathroom needs a bit of renovation.
Review 12:Good location - easy walk into town for restaurants bars and shops. Three minutes drive to ferry terminal. Free onsite parking.
Review 13:When you see it even from outside you understand that nothing has been done for decades in this building. Very old fashioned and very very bad reserved.
Review 14:Very comfortable room, with the fridge and a wonderful view on the balcony. Very calm and peaceful place with gentle hosts. With my friend we enjoyed our stay. Just next to the hostel a really good restaurant, the best food we ate in Greece !
Review 15:The hotel is modest, although good for money.
Review 16:Good location, near port Quiet zone - we saw ~150m away hotels with disco and loud music - in the hotel was quiet Owners speak (!) Romanian (average) Working A/C Owners were OK with our check-in time (02 a.m.) due ferry
Review 17:Where to start?
Review 18:The hotel is so dated and run-down that there is not much to 'like'! The room was an oven during the afternoon, the fittings were battered and ready for the tip, although the bed was okay. It is cheap though and it is only a short distance from the port which is great.I vaguely recognise the place from the photos online but they were either taken a long time ago or by a VERY skillful photographer!
Review 19:Building in a poor condition, rooms very basic, only 1 outlet for charging laptop, camera etc. Breakfast not included in room price.
Review 20:Owners very helpful, good location with sea view. Free off-road parking. Cafe/ restaurant at front of hotel
Review 21:It was a travel back in the time of Ceausescu, when the hotels were nothing else than a roof over the heads. The small room had furniture from the houses of the states conquered by the german soldiers in WWII,when we tryed the water for a dusch, the pipes begann to make a noise like the walls were going to crash/explode.the tv had some chanells, all greek, but the remote control did not work. Although, the owner gave us a antimosquito pill,it was worthless, maybe they were the true inhabitans there..between the window and the wall, it was a space left of one or two centimeters,so the noise from outside could be very well heard.by the way,did u know that the youngsters of Igoumenitsa use to race with the motor bikes around 4 in the morning? Anyway,I; 'm proud to tell that i've seen one of the firsts AC models since it was invented.I'm glad that the kids are still young,'cause they could have been marked for life...so,a definitly NO. P.S. I wonder how the greek authorities gave the permit to function that hotel in the 21st century.
Review 22:Nothing.
Review 23:Need renovation.
Review 24:The staff
Review 25:The worst hotel ever! It looks like ruin. We spent there only one night and it was nightmare.

Review 37:Beds were rock hard and the rooms were dated... Tatty but not unclean
Review 38:The staff are family and were very friendly and warm and did all to make our stay welcoming The sea view was beautiful
Review 39:Virtually everything
Review 40:Not much the property was run down and not as described in the photographs would definatly not stay again.Parking questionable re security. We were asked when we would like hot water for the shower,as hotwater was not provided all the time!several floors unused with no lights.
Review 41:All a bit too basic for me. Cleanliness a bit borderline and the hot water promised "in 30mins" didn't materialise. Put a roof over my head - that's about it
Review 42:Owner(?) did his best to communicate with me despite my lack of greek. Location not bad - 10/12 min walk to ferries.
Review 43:What time do you want to switch the hot water on? (I ve beensurprisingly asked to give a specific time) The restaurant was creatingterrible noise because of dancing gathering from the midday until earlyevening easily heard on the 3d floor. Not able to have a quite restafter a long trip.It was justified by the owner as the pre-easter!! Day.Black live cockroach in the toilet
Review 44:2 red eggs given in Easter morning
Review 45:Location - situated on the seafront with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, 5 minute walk to the main shopping street and 5 minutes drive to the port.
Review 46:Old and a bit neglected
Review 47:Near igoumenitsa harbor and the sea
Review 48:The staff were excellent, very friendly & accommodating
Review 49:MOSQUITOS IN THE ROOM. And no bathroom light.
Review 50:Gave us a ride to the ferry port in the morning :)
Review 51:Really poor furnished rooms, poorly English-speaking staff, not quiet neighborhood
Review 52:close to the city port and to some restaurants.
