Review 1：A little bigger gym and a bit warmer indoor swimming pool would be nice. Not a walkable distance to the center of the city although there's a bus and the cab fair is about 5 euros. For some rooms you have to walk outside in order to reach the main facilities and there's no cover which means that if it rains you need an umbrella.

Review 4：It was absolutely worth coming to Kalamata and staying in the hotel. Very, very friendly staff, good food, and excellent spa facility and Mrs.Roulla's magical hands! If you need to relax and enjoy the town and its surrounding, this is the best!

Review 12：The hotel is stunning! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud and the room with the pool was gorgeous.

Review 13：Be aware that there are no facilities at all for children, i.e. no kids pool, no playground, no kids club etc. Also, you need to cross a road to go to the beach. At the beach, everyone are welcome to use the hotel loungers and umbrellas (at a cost, if you are not a hotel guest) so hotel guests need to make reservations to get a spot on the front row.

Review 15：The whole experience from beginning to end was fantastic. The pool bar in particular was a true delight, and George on the pool bar was the most accommodating and professional barman I have come across.Nothing was too much trouble, and he was both knowledgable and entertaining. Lunches and snacks were absolutely beautiful and everywhere was spotlessly clean. All staff were of the highest standard and it is surprising what a difference that makes to your whole experience.The hotel facilities were some of the best I have experienced and enormous for the number of guests that the hotel can accommodate.Perfect location for access to the bars and restaurants.What a place to chill completely.

Review 33：Glad we chose the Horizon Blu. It's an attractive, modern and very comfortable hotel. Staff was friendly and extremely helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our 8 days there and would stay again.

Review 34：In order to give some space for improvement I would mention that the wifi had very weak signal it some areas of the room.

Review 35：We were a family with a 1years old baby girl. The room had even separate baby towels with hood(!!!) The breakfast was full of anything you may want and especially local goods. The stuff is extraodinary. One day, in order our little to eat Mr. Nikos was 100% devoted to entertain her cause she was not eating otherwise. Mrs. Christina, we have no words! We will definately come back.

Review 36：Wifi is horrible. Did not work on my room, nor in the pool or bar area. It only works well in lobby or breakfast room. Bar service is very slow. No gym. No spa No Concierge Private pool in pool suite was disgustingly dirty, I asked 3 times to clean it but it still had algae strings floating in it.

Review 38：- wifi not working or unreliable - we stayed 4 days out of 7 with no wifi and 7 out of 7 with horrible bathroom smell - management was unable or unwilling to solve this despite ssking them repeatedly from day 1. We had a room with sea view and private pool which in reality has a direct view first on the hotel pool and bar/restaurant area so privacy is non-existent, the worst thing being that wedding parties in the above mentioned bar/restaurant will not let you sleep until 3 am.

Review 44：When we dined at hotels restaurant, staff forgot to bring part of the order and brought it only after reminding. They also insisted to serve us the 2 main dishes whenever they wanted, although we asked them to bring after salad. In general they need to be more proffesional. One more minus is that although they claim that the pool is used only from hotels clients, truth is that it is also used from local people. We noticed that to the receptionist and she insisted that pools are used only from customers. Unfortunately i am more than sure this is not the case, since our daughter verified the opossite with a little girl that was just "friend of the owner" and not resident. It is just sad for a 5 star hotel to behave like motel.

Review 48：- The parking was relatively ok for the hotel rooms, unfortunately if you are a hotel resident and you decide to move your car, there is possibility not been able to find a free parking space afterwards, since everyone non resident from Kalamata is parking his car inside the hotel in order to swim to the beach in front of the hotel. - Non residents are using the hotel pool when hotel is not fully booked. - During weekends the beach front is full not only from hotel clients but also from local people which is ok but when you are paying a certain amount of money for that resort you deserve to have free parking space, free pool space and beach chairs and umbrella, otherwise. - There wasn't mosquito pests in the room, so you had to be very carefull when opening the window. - There was no clothes dryer (for our swimming towels for example). - Also in our room (superior with private pool sea front room no.101 there was no window handle, probably they had forgot to put it, making the opening of the door from the outside extremely difficult. - The hotel restaurant had a very small variety of dishes after 3 times ordering you had tasted almost everything (very good quality though). - There was no handy control for the aircondition, meaning that everytime you wanted to shut it down or open it up, you had to stand up and go to the aircondition panel situated on the wall, imagine to sleep and to feel hot, you had to stand up half sleepy and open the lights and open up the aircondition.
