In general the place was set up quite nicely with a pool, some plants and a large room (we had the deluxe room). However, everything was dirty, including the reception desk, the porch, the glasses in the room, the fridge (veeeeeery dirty with old ice cream and mold), the shower head was full of mold, the toilet was greyish / black, etc. When we asked if they could clean it, they did, but apparently they do not know what clean is. Furthermore, plants and surroundings were not taken care of, what made the whole place look like the last guest was there 3 months ago. We booked for 2 nights, but left immediately the next day to go to another place where we could enjoy our holidays.....

We arrived after dark and the hotel was very difficult to find (situated down a laneway). Luckily a friendly local man directed us there on his scooter!!

Review 71：We were encouraged to preorder breakfast for the next morning to avoid waiting times as the food comes from a kitchen a little far away. As the hotel is on the main road to the temple, our driver needed some time to get through all the pedestrians :) Arrangements for another driver the next morning were easily possible at the reception. You just have to bargain for the price as the price list was overpriced. Staff was committed though didn't seem to be very long in the hotel business. Tannah Lot is one of these 3 places in Bali every tourists goes to. There's nothing romantic or beautiful left at the scenerey. You can imagine why it was perfect decades ago. Today, you stroll with thousands other people and wait for your turn at photo points.

Review 72：You can't stay any closer to Tannah Lot. If you want to enjoy sunset and sunrise at Tannah Lot, that's a perfect Hotel. Furthermore, as there is tide at Tannah Lot, you can see the temple once at high tide and once at low tide. The Hotel is just off the main road to the temple but still quiet as its facing away from the road. After sunset, life shuts down and there's only the hotel restaurant left open. Quality of the food was ok. People in the pool seemed to enjoy it. Rooms were newly renovated and spacious. The bath rooms were NOT renovated and still are the old ones (big room with toillet and bath tub). Nonetheless, bath room was ok but not luxurious.
