Review 1:I have known many more friendly receptions in an hotel. Locals of the same family name seemed surprised at lack of recognition.
Review 2:The comfort of our room. Being able to telephone and ask that something I left in our room might be kept until we visit again in a few week's time.
Review 3:TV a bit clunky and picture not great, but that really isn't a major problem as that's not what we come on holiday for!!

Review 10:Nothing was too much trouble. Proprietor himself offered to drive us up to Rolf's (excellent) nearby restaurant, for our dinner appointment with our family. All the staff were happy, helpful and smiling.

Review 21:Gorgeous, small hotel in a stunning setting. Loved that the hotel was small and compact and not too modern. It felt very cosy and warm. Lovely, buzzy restaurant and bar. The location overlooking the ruined church and bay was beautiful. Staff were very warm and friendly.
Review 22:The restaurant is advertised as a seafood restaurant and as such I would have expected a wider choice than was on offer. My fish wad perfectly cooked but my husbands meal didn't live up to expectations.

Review 91:From the moment we set foot in the hotel we were made feel so welcome, the welcome complimentary tea and scone was lovely. The staff were exceptionally friendly without being intrusive, they provided us with local maps when they discovered that we were interested in walking. Food was so good with freshly cooked breakfast, the fires in the bar were lovely and made it feel so homely. I can not praise the staff enough. Everything about the place was to be highly recommended. If you want a nice homely ,comfortable country break this is THE place
