Review 7：Elevator is too small and slow. Bathroom smells bad, i think there's a problem with the exhaust fan. Air con is too cold even when i set it in the highest temp (30 degree C). Room service takes a long time.

Review 13：The bed was very good. The hotel was spacious (ginormous) and clean. Gamelang is a good starting point for an excursion to the Dieng Plateau.

Review 14：The staffs were not too helpful. The receptionist was not informative at all. I had to waiting and standing on the front desk without them asking my concern.

Review 15：The pool was amazing. I can teach my 20 months old kid to swim and he was enjoying that. The room was great and spacious. My parents were coming along with us and we had the rooms with connecting door so the kids were so happy. The mall is just over the corner.

Review 40：The room they gave us on the second floor (Room 229) had a very bad sewer smell. As the hotel was running on full capacity, we changed to another room (Room 601) only on the second night. This had a nice view and no smell, but the Wi-Fi didn't work and there was also a light at the minibar that had no off switch. This meant I had to sleep the entire night with a light on.

Review 41：Room is spacious, clean and comfort. Breakfast comes with many variety. Restaurant is spacious to cater for big group. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Free 10 min massage is a bonus after a short trip back. Value for money.

Review 48：The staff need a big round of applause for their courtesy from the director of sales Ms Vey, reception to the bell boys. No regrets I think I made the right choice choosing Grand. We were 12 adults and everyone simply loved the hotel. The lobby which was adjacent to Carrefour was a plus point here. Hotel room facilities were as good as a 5*. I would certainly stay here again if I visit borobudur. I cant comment much on their breakfast coz my booking was without bf. Anyway hope Grand maintains this portfolio forever.

Review 55：This is a new hotel, opened september 2013. I got a room for 72 AUD for two nights, great value. The room smelt fresh with large windows. Magelang is a nice city, and the weather is also cooler. My favourite hotel for my last trip.

Review 56：The key room, because the key room is used to reach the room by elevator. The htl just gave one key,so if i have to go alone and my child go somewhere else it will be confusing me.

Review 58：When I booked the room I requested a Double room with large bed, so I could stretch-out. Instead I was given a Twin room with single beds, so my feet dangled over the bottom of the bed. It was a blissfully comfortable bed though... Strangest thing, but the cable TV had 14 channels: six of which were English, consisting of Football, Football, Football, Golf, Cooking and Music. Very disappointed not to be able to watch a movie in the evening. Surely this must be the only 4-star hotel with no movie channel? Unfortunately I couldn't watch YouTube either, as wifi wasn't able to stream video for more than a couple of seconds before freezing. I have had far better accessibility in cheap guesthouses, plus it's very annoying to have to login every time you use it, or if you happen to let it sit idle for a minute too long. Often I had to stand by the door to get a good enough connection to reconnect. No regrets though and it's still a lovely hotel for sure.

Review 59：The design and build quality is as good as any 4-Star Hotel in the world. For all intents, it looks Brand New. Breakfast and buffet dinner were excellent. All staff performed well beyond any expectations I might have had. The Swimming Pool (about 25m) was fantastic and so too were the two Jacuzzis and Sauna. Gym equipment is superb, as it's actually a facility with paying members, but as a Hotel Guest, you get to use it all for free! There are spinning classes and yoga. Being connected to the shopping complex (including Carrefore) meant there was always something to do and with further dining options also.

Review 60：Great spacious room w king size bed n spacious bathroom. The bathroom is supplied with Crabtree n evelyn products. But the towels feels old n worn, bath towels are v small in size. Bath n shower facility is great. We stayed in deluxe room and it is worth the extra money. The only thing I don't like is the very small window for such gigantic room, feels claustrophobic. All in all it is the best hotel in magelang.

Review 66：Everything! The staff were super friendly from the moment our taxi arrived taking our bags from us and handing us a welcome drink instead. The staff spoke excellent English and were happy to help us explain to our taxi what we wanted so were great translators. The room was extremely clean upon arrival and cleaned each day for us as well as replacement toiletries, bed sheets and slippers. We needed a computer to print something off and the staff were happy to allow us to use their computer station to print free of charge. We ate lunch and dinner in the mall as we wanted a cheap option after splashing out on day time activities but we had breakfast at the hotel and it was AMAZING; buffet breakfast cooked infront of you and included a wide variety from croissants, fruit, pancakes and waffles to Indonesian favourites such as nasi goreng. The pool and jacuzzi were very nice and clean and were given fresh towels each time we went. The room itself had great aircon, a tv that also gave channels in English and the bed was the comfiest I've ever slept in. The location was excellent if you are interested in visiting borobudur.

Review 67：The staff is arrogant. they didnt make up the room until i came back at night. They are very slow and not responsive to guest needs. rotten shower room stinks... slow water pressure on the shower and only luke warm shower not hot at all.... the clogged shower room floods the floor. i have tried 2 rooms and both room different floor have same problem.
