Reviews for Angelika Pallas Hotel
Review 1:Unfriendly behaviour of person at reception, as I had problem with passkey for accessing to the room: I was actually not using the passkey properly, however I would expect more patience from hotel personel.
Review 2:Breakfast could be little better, but I am french and except top food everywhere I go.
Review 3:Very friendly staff welcome you any time of the day (and late at night in my case.)
Review 4:We stay over in two communicated rooms in the third floor, and the experience was very comfortable. The best is you have a direct view of the sea and the sunset in the afternoons from the rooms... fantastic days in Angelica Pallas, a perfect place to visit the near Sivota and Drepano beach.
Review 5:On previous occasions we have been greeted by a very friendly, helpful man on reception. This time however the lady on reception was quite brusque. Also the wifi wasn't working she kept telling me to try later but it still didn't work although the wifi was fine in the Taverna across the road.
Review 6:We have stayed at this hotel before & the rooms are spacious & have extremely comfortable beds, with good bathrooms. Very convenient for the port to catch ferry to Venice.
Review 7:Nothing it met all our needs
Review 8:Stayed one night prior going to Corfu. Friendly staff good location to ferry port. We had nice clean room big balcony with Seaview. Adequate breakfast included and more restaurants in surrounding area. Wifi in lobby lounge.
Review 9:had ants in the bathroom and only a tub shower, which was a nightmare for me as I have severe hip problems.. I could hear all the neighbors while I was in the hall, therefor we used a towel as sound proofing.
Review 10:The front office staff was wonderful! The suggestion for the hop on hop off bus was perfect for our daily trip which made the journey very enjoyable!
Review 11:A bit of noise throughout the night from some sort of tanoy announcements but would def stay here again
Review 12:Well maintained, comfortable, friendly staff and handy for port and town
Review 13:The room was infested with mosquito's mainly coming from the bathroom. The air conditions was not working the room was very hot, considering it was mid October
Review 14:Easy access to the port
Review 15:Wi-Fi too weak to reach the rooms, broken shower head in bathroom, breakfast coffee not good.
Review 16:Pleasant staff, cheerful clean room, walking distance to ferry terminal and restaurants.
Review 17:The hotel is not in walking distance to the many restaurants along the coast in downtown Igoumenitsa, but it is a short drive by car.
Review 18:The hotel is modern with a large and impressive-looking reception area. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of offerings. Our room had a small patio (but no view). It was fairly large, comfortable, pleasant and nicely furnished.
Review 19:Looks like you are in a gas station, it is extremely noisy, bathroom smells, no wifi at the room, sheets were not cleaned, the room smelled cigarettes because previous guests had smoked there, breakfast is extremely poor. If you ever see this hotel at booking don't even think to stay there.
Review 20:Almost nothing. This is not even 2 stars hotel and they pretend is 4. The staff tries to be polite to compensate the horrible conditions of the hotel.
Review 23:Food in the evening was average.
Review 24:Fabulous comfy beds with good air conditioning, excellent English speaking receptionist - couldn't do enough for us. Very convenient for ferry port to Venice or Ancona. Will stay again. Food at breakfast good.
Review 25:Comfortable position for port access.
Review 26:The breakfast was terrible . The staff quite unfriendly
Review 27:Well located if you need to stay a night in igoumenitsa before taking a ferry
Review 28:Cloth screen around shower and bad outlook from restaurant at the front.
Review 29:Good reception staff
Review 30:Perfectly located only 2 mins drive from the port entrances for Ferries to Corfu/Italy
Review 31:It's not at the best Place but if you have a car it's ok.
Review 32:The Room is nice
Review 33:Wi-fi was bad.
Review 34:Great for those who have to sleep one night before taking the ferry from Igoumenitsa – it is right in front of the harbour.
Review 35:nothing
Review 36:location
Review 37:Wi Fi didn't work in our room. Annoying
Review 38:Central to everything
Review 39:The atmosphere was warm and welcoming - helpful. The owner made a phone call to our next accommodation for us. The hotel is pretty.
Review 40:a shuttle was in list of amenities: I asked to be met and received no response; I was not met and the hotel would not get a taxi to the port for me. the hotel itself is lovely but it is in the middle of the usual demolition/building sites
Review 41:convenient for both ferry ports - Italy and Corfu. staff friendly. big balcony with room. breakfast plentiful.
Review 42:We needed somewhere just to lay our heads after getting off a ferry at midnight. The hotel is 200 yds from the port and looks very ordinary from the outside and in reception but our room was perfectly nice and amazing value at £49 for the night !
Review 43:It is quite a long way from the heart of Igoumenitsa town
Review 44:I was pleased that they started breakfast at 6 so I was fed before catching ferry to Venice. It's so close to the port the early start is no problem
Review 45:The staff at reception was rude. Breakfast was cold, including the coffee, and we asked for warm coffee without success.
Review 46:Location: ugly, but very close to ferry harbour. Room clean and spacious. 24-hour reception, useful if your ferry is delayed as ours was. This is a good place to stay for one night if you are arriving late / leaving early from Igoumenitsa.
Review 47:Allthough smoking in closed areas is forbidden by greek law, everybody smokes inside the hotel, also in the restaurant and during breakfast. Lady at the reception was very unfriendly.
Review 48:Comfortable rooms, good location very near to the ferry terminal
Review 49:Possibly the menu lacks little imagination, and the prices a little expensive
Review 50:The location to the ferry port- ideal from travelling to several of the Greek Islands, or between Greece and Italy. It is clean and tidy, and the staff very helpful. I have used this Hotel several times, and have never once been disapponted.
Review 51:It is not the top quality but very good standard i would say, specially for short stays.
Review 52:Perfect location right in front of ferry dock. Ideal for us as we came late night with 2 motorbikes and needed good place to sleep. Bathroom was clean, breakfast was ok and I liked the balcony in the room. And, covered parking was perfect. Lady in the reception was very helpful.
Review 53:The breakfast. All items from fried eggs bacon etc to boiled eggs were cold
Review 54:The friendly staff on hand to answer any questions and give good directions
Review 55:actually everything was pretty great.
Review 56:friendly staff, professional, lots of parking, included breakfast buffet, air conditioned, peaceful, and beautiful, eco friendly, fun and exciting place to be
Review 57:No negative comments. Ideal for an overnight stay before or after ferry
Review 58:Good hotel with very friendly staff and nice rooms. Very handy for ferry terminal.
Review 59:Toilets at the back of hotel for customers of the restaurant weren't very nice.
Review 60:Room was very comfortable, especially the bed with good air conditioning. Receptionist extremely helpful. Good location for catching ferry to Venice or Corfu, Lefkas, etc. as ferry port just across the road.
Review 61:Basic breakfast, however perfectly OK for a traveller staying for just one night.
Review 62:Very good location, close to harbour, easy access to Egnatia odos highway and town for having dinner. Breakfast starts at 6am.
Review 63:The town is in need of a major face-lift. It trades on its port and shows little or no sign of any other planning.
Review 64:We were in transit from Meteora to the island of Paxos. Igoumenitsa is the port town en route. The town is not particularly attractive despite its coastal setting but the hotel is pleasant and the staff are very friendly.
Review 65:View from rear rooms
Review 66:Great ferry location & especially liked the front view rooms, even tho the ships at night could be loud. I will return. GREAT value!
Review 67:One draw back was street noise, but once windows were closed, noise level was good. Became quiet at night.
Review 68:Great for easy access to and from ports, great view. comfortable. Would stay again.
Review 69:The hotel was really good :-)
Review 70:I picked this hotel for it's location as it's in walkingdistance to the port ( I was coming from Corfu & going to Italy!)
Review 71:Breakfast, which was included in our room rate, starts at 0700...to catch the ferry, you typically must be at the port earlier than that.
Review 72:We were taking the ferry to Venice at 0700 the next morning. The hotel was only a stone's throw from the New Port to board the ferry. Also, the internet was out on our floor...the staff did not hesitate to offer us a room on another floor.
Review 73:Could be more choice at breakfast.
Review 74:The pre-booked meals at12.86 Euro were great value. Rooms are nice andHotel is generally smart and clean. Staff are friendly & helpful.Good value for money.
Review 75:We were disturbed by Mosquitos during the night and it would have been good to have had some kind of deterrent like nets over the beds or a plug in device. As we were catching an ongoing early morning ferry we couldn't get breakfast so a kettle and coffee/tea sachets would have been welcome.
Review 76:The hotel is close enough to both the domestic and international ports, enabling us to walk easily between these and the hotel, even with luggage.
Review 77:Well placed for the ferry to Venice. Comfortable. Quiet. Wi fi worked well - and free. Very helpful manager and staff. Food convenient and reasonable.
Review 78:The staff suppose that we drunk more bottle than We Really drunk fromthe frigo-bar without no one proof. Pay attention that it's only adishonest technical to take more money from you !!!!
Review 79:Nothing, it's the most bad hotel I have been in my life, dirty veryNoisy and Dishonest Staff.
Review 80:We arrived very tired, the receptionist was rude, the bathroom smeltterrible, we needed to sleep and bed was comfortable, so we slept andleft for the early ferry. The bathroom smelt so bad we didn'tr evenfeel able to take a shower! Disgusting!
Review 81:The location very close to the ferry port.
Review 82:Nothing, Angelika is the most decent of the Igoumenitsa hotel.
Review 83:We arrived at 5am due to ferry arrival from Italy, walked in, staff knew me from prev stay, guy on reception greeted me holding key in the air, informed me that we had a quiet room on top floor away from noise so we could sleep. Great service. Knew we needed to get sleep & ensured that without delay.
Review 84:the wifi was not working in my room
Review 85:very clean, very professional staff, very close to the new port. really the best for those who arrive at night in Igoumenista by ferry and need a quick place to spend the night.
Review 86:The shower was a bit small. It was the set up where you pull a plastic curtain around.
Review 87:It's location to the Ferry port is perfect. Plus very good value for money considering the good size room & the very nice breakfast.
Review 88:Price included breakfast which we could not have as our ferry left early. There should be a option to not pay for breakfast. Bed was too soft for me.
Review 89:Good facilities and location for the port at Igoumenitsa.
Review 90:Choice of meals in the restaurant was limited
Review 91:When we were delayed the staff let us keep our room until the following evening for only half the price of an extra night's stay, with no notice.
Review 92:Only one thing spoiled the stay, the bathroom fittings, shower head and toilet seat were very poor quality. Not something that you would expect given the quality of everything else.
Review 93:Food, staff, room, beds, location, all perfect. Great value for money.
Review 94:Basically, everything was fine - clean & well-decorated. The reception staff were very professional & helpful. The breakfast was good. The restaurant was also very good. We had a lovely balcony off our room. I only regret we couldn't make more use of it.
Review 95:The common failing of the previous users of the non-smoking room having smoked in it.
Review 96:It is much the best hotel in the town and the location right in front of the port is excellent. Sound proofing and air conditioning both work very well indeed.
Review 97:Lack of security in rooms - door key fitted other room when accidentallywent to room on incorrect floor! Typical Greek hotel in respect ofsmoking in room by previous guest.
Review 98:Excellent location for the Port. Welcoming reception staff. Basic roomwith free WiFi. Good breakfast (self-service). Will return.
Review 99:Cost of breakfast if not included in the price, is 10 euro's per person, the most expensive we found in 10 countries.

Review 125:Good location for ferry port, comfort, helpful staff
Review 126:Tha balcony wasnt clean. The Hotel needs a good renovation, very outdated. The staff could change their attitude.
Review 127:The location
