Review 1：Everything was perfect.

Review 2：Thanks for everything. It was a really good stay. Receptionist Annie is the best, very helpful and always laughing. Location is perfect, ocean is just near the hotel. Food in the hotel is tasty, almost for all the dishes price is 30 k Rup.

Review 3：Swimming pool bit too small. Breakfast quite bland, lack of seasoning, tasteless. The a-la-crate menu for lunch and dinner is much tastier but since 90% or more of the guests are Westerners they should provide pork dishes, too. We are in Bali and Bali is not Muslim.

Review 4：Comfortable rooms. Friendly helpful staff. They provide a whole 12 liters gallon of Aqua water in the rooms instead of the usual 2 half liters bottles/daily. Food at very reasonable price. Nice garden, Friendly dog.

Review 5：The location is very hard to find with no signboard to lead the way. The road to the hotel is narrow. Far from city centre, but they have not-so-frequent free shuttle bus. The swimming pool is very small, only suitable for kids. The food still can be improved. No hair dryer. Requested for one but it was faulty.

Review 6：We booked a Deluxe Double Room with Sea View for two nights. Love the room, it is very new, clean and cozy, with part of the sea view. Love the beach, the environment by the beach is nice and the facilities provided are in good conditions. A good place to relax. Very friendly staffs.

Review 11：we booked the large suite at top floor of the new building at the back (because we need an extra bed). The best view (180*) is from there. But the problem is the windows were dirty - and it takes 50 steps to walk up - and 50 steps down. And a big problem - the bathroom has NO VENTILATION - and NO windows to open. So you have to leave the door open from bathroom to bedroom/ living room and then balcony door open - to change the air. Because of the may steps - you may end on top of this building - looking at nature - instead of being in the garden - which is a mix of many kinds of furniture. There is a piece of land in front of the garden - with black sand that becomes very very hot (should be covered with white sand instead. - You have to cross that before you take a swim. TOWELS very the most old and worn out from the 100 hotels I stayed in. I told Annie that hotel guests could/should have better towels than the hostel guests that pay 100.000Rp a night.

Review 12：The breakfast buffet was good. And also we had some good fish for lunch. Annie the young boss is ever smiling and she is great. But she is still a student - and knows very little about running a hotel. Or is it a hostel ?? - When I saw that I had booked the "luxury" suite on the top floor at the new back building - Annie gave me the chance to change our room to a more close to the beach - the building with two rooms with kitchen and toilet downstairs. But the stairs to the bedroom at upper floor was with double height of steps, so my wife was afraid she would fall down this dangerous stairs at night. So we stayed in the suite - see my negative comments

Review 13：We had really liked our stay at Crystal Beach Bali! Spacious rooms are well furnished, clean and bright. The staff of the hotel is very helpful and friendly. Despite the lack of the beach in the usual sense (it's just a steps into the ocean, just like in the most hotels in Candidasa), the swimming and sunbathing are really enjoyable - there are very nice sun-beds/pavilions in front of the entrance into water, sea bottom is freed of big rocks near the stairs. You can borrow a snorkel at the reception (for a small fee) to take a closer look at the underwater habitants.

Review 14：Super friendly staff and lovely food. the breakfast was excellent. My son loved the Mahi Mahi fish, the doughnuts , the pool, the views and the staff.

Review 15：We had nasi goreng for brekfast and the rice was called. So were the other breakfast dishes (they did not have fire below the chaffing dishes) but that wasn't too much of an issue to me. Can be a little inconvenient as the location is away from the main streets of Candidasa, however there are shuttle services.

Review 18：Great quiet spot with a beautiful garden and sea views. Good value for money. We kept extending our stay in such a relaxing athmosphere. There is a new building with clean rooms and good beds. There are 2 apartments which have decks which face the garden and sea. Such a great spot for our two young children who could play in the garden and swim. Personnel is very friendly and they adored the kids. They have a free shuttle service since location is a bit out of town. Buffet breakfast with enough choice.

Review 19：Unfortunately we didn't like breakfast at all: instant coffee, no healthy baliniese food, only fried dishes. And fruit ( only watermelon and papaya ) didn't taste fresh.

Review 20：We spent 3 nights in 2 different rooms, the first one for 35$ was amazing! The second one for 25$ was unfortunately not so good: no soundproof at all, it feels like there is no privacy. Furthermore we could hear screaming baby all the time. The beachbeds were great and the staff was very wellcoming and helpful! And we also had free shuttle service to the city, what made us flexible. All around we enjoyed our stay in crystal beach! Perfect place to run away from the hectic city life!

Review 21：The atmosphere is so peaceful and pretty.. It's such a relaxed lay back environment. The room (junior suite) is spacious and quiet and the bed super comfy. The manager Annie, reception Alfonsia and cook Adi were so helpful and remained very cheerful even though they work such long hours.

Review 22：Not much. There are ants that WILL find their way into your food if you have any left around. So don't leave anything in your room especially id it's unsealed. Maybe ask reception to hold it in their kitchen or just don't open the food in your room!

Review 23：This place was such a pleasant surprise - You definitely feel like you're "getting away" to relax and disconnect here with all of the space to lounge and enjoy the sea views. Alfonsia, the receptionist, was absolutely brilliant. She is so friendly and helpful with planning your activities in the area. I stayed in the dorm which was cleaned every day and had really comfortable beds and A/C! The Wi-Fi is great from anywhere up near the main house or the dorm building. Yes, the resort is a bit far from central Candidasa, but they offer free shuttle service (just tell Alfonsia ahead of time when you want to go). Breakfast was included and was always plentiful, tasty, and had lots of variety. This place is great for solo backpackers to couples on a romantic vacation. STAY HERE. You will not regret it.

Review 24：The location was great. Away from all the hustle and bustle whee you can only hear the waves. We stayed in a sea view room which was new and very very nice. We had a fantastic view of the sea and it was pure bliss. The staff were great and very friendly. I would definitely come back and stay here, the next time I am in Bali.

Review 35：The staff is really nice and very helpfull. The hotel is 15 minutes away from the centre of Candidasa but they have a free shuttle service so that's no problem. Also anything you need they will do it for you, for example they helped us to find and print the route to the tirtagangga! All together we had a really pleasant stay here and we would definitly recommend this place to everyonee!!

Review 36：The hotel is under reconstruction. We got room next to the reception, it was bit noisy at night. Pay attention when booking the room. You will see a toilet on the pictures, but in fact this is a SHARED TOILET! We we're lucky that we were upgraded to better room with own bathroom. Others had to go 50m outside the building to use shared toilet.

The stay was pleasant, we have appreciated the vicinity of the sea with good snorkeling opportunities (mainly at high tide as you can pass the corals safely, on low tide not possible to snorkel except by the shore as the corals are everywhere). Enjoyed the hammocks in the garden to lay back and relax. Very good value for money.

Review 74：I didn't like the reception/storage/dining/breakfast room, or the breakfasts, didn't think the kitchen looked clean. The architect that designed the new buildings needs to go back to school - the stairs in the luxury apartment were about 50cm high (each step), also horrible outdoor bathroom. The new rooms were lovely but you had to walk up 3 flights of steps through a bizarre building.

Review 92：There is no "beach" here and it is in Mendira, not Candidasa. We ended up taking their free shuttle into Candidasa and arranging transport to "white sand beach" 20 minutes away. The food at the hotel was not great, but ok . We did discovered very good warung 10 minutes walk into Mendira.

Review 93：The outdoor bed platforms were awesome for lounging. The hostess, Annie took care of small inconveniences (power outage to outlets and sticky door lock) quickly. Snorkeling equipment was available and reef was literally at the bottom of stairs in the sea wall.

It was so a good experience. And I can only say take your time at this place and stay so long how you feel like and I stayed at the end 6 days and I would recommended this place always. They have also a fridge and a new kitchen to use. And you can use the laundrt too. I loved it there really much.

I loved everything about this place... the staff is out of this world- and go out of their way to accommodate any requests. The hotel is away from the town center and offers a beautiful quiet atmosphere.. laying on the beds on their little black sand beach was divine, They provide a complimentary shuttle to take you into town which is a huge plus and a brand new kitchen you can use... honestly it was one of my favorite places I've ever been and I was so thankful that I was able to stay there on a backpacker budget!

Review 106：Hostel. No ventilation in a bath&toilet. All your smells are always with you. Bad sound proffiing. The water-pumping sounds disturbing you all the night. No complimentary water in a room. No towels near the pool. Half of the lights in a room does not work. No safe box in a room. We used a best Superior room in a third floor. So the wifi signal was not possible to reach us there. It is the third big mistake of engineers after lacking ventilation in a toilet and water-pumping noise. Poor breakfast. Lacking buffet. You always have to ask and beg for milk or coffee or fruits. It seams you did not paid nothing and lives for free. Besides of the pool and sun-arbors, the rest facilities are lacking. Hidden from guests reception. Overall looks as a construction site, not a hotel. Really it is a hostel, not a 3-stars hotel.

Review 107：Sea view, newly maintained main building. Stairs to the sea to swim. Very little but deep pool. Palms with coconuts everywhere. Personnel is friendly but not professional.

Review 112：Before, I mentioned the smart TV. That would have been great except for the fact that the wifi didn't work in any of the rooms for my entire 4 day stay! The only option was to go to the lobby where you could just about connect to a very slow and unreliable service. Also the breakfast was woeful - very little to choose from and there were not even simple things like butter for your bread. This is an area that needs serious improvement.

Review 113：I booked a hotel room with a sea view. The room was very nice indeed with plenty of space, very clean and I had a nice surprise when I discovered that I had a smart TV! I was after a nice secluded location and this definitely ticks that box. It's quite a distance from anywhere. But they offer transport into the local town for free and you can rent a scooter if you wish for a low cost.

Review 116：The aircon in the bedroom has its outlet in the bathroom which makes it as hot as hell!! The bathroom, which was open air - is now closed off to the sky making it even hotter. Aircons in the 2 units on the beach are old and not very cool. Otherwise sea breezes are good.

Review 117：Had a unit closest to the beach front. This property has quite a long beach frontage unlike those on the main drag. OK to swim in the sea too. Shared dormitories also good value. Heaps of lovely places to sit around and hang out along the beach.

Review 122：Originally I booked for a bed in the 3-bed female dorm. By the time I arrived, it had turned into a 5-bed dorm room and I feel it was very misrepresented in the pictures. I'm sure it's fine for anyone who is used to staying in hostels, and the staff immediately granted my request and got me fixed up in another room. The only other thing I didn't like was the breakfast. Not the best options and pretty much the same thing everyday, but it's a free breakfast and it gets the job done.

Review 123：The location of this hotel right on the water in Candidasa is perfect. The pool and sunbeds by the water are exactly what I needed for some long days of relaxing. There is shuttle that goes into town and brings you back (for free). The staff were always friendly and willing to help with anything you need. If you don't need to go all the way into town there are a few small little warungs about a 15 minute walk from the place. That walk was one of my favorite parts of my stay. I felt like I got to see a little bit more authenticity in this area. Overall it was a wonderful stay and I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Review 124：Upgraded from dorm room, smelt bad, no windows. Private room adjoined office, kitchen very noisey from 6am. Only sheet, no blanket felt lacking for price.

Review 126：As we have booked this accomodation, we did not expect much for the low price, but we were really nice surprised when we arrived and the accomodation looked like on the pictures. We have booked Junior suite, which is in the new building. Everything was new, clean, the lady who works at the reception is very friendly and will answer all Your questions and help arrange whatever You need. There is unfortunately no beach, but You can use the steps to swimm in the sea or the swimming pool :)

Review 127：Perfect stay at Crystal Beach! Staff is wonderful and the place is great to relax far from crowded Kuta or Ubud. The room was great with a nice view on the sea. Very quiet place. The staf can arrange for motorbike rental very quick.

Review 130：- Location a bit isolated, perfect if you're looking for seclusion but a fair walk to the main road if you don't have a car/motorcycle - There was a problem with the bathtub that wasn't completely solved until following day - Breakfast was rather small and uninspiring
