Kokalakis Hotel sells fast on our site. Situated right on Kamari beach in Kefalos, the family-run Kokalakis Hotel offers breakfast and free Wi-Fi throughout. The rooms feature a furnished balcony overlooking the pool and the small island of Saint Nicholas.

Review 1：One of the best hotels I've stayed in mostly because of the staff! The staff are so helpful and friendly. They really help to create a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere in the hotel. Also the location is suberb for the beach, bus stop and harbour with many family owned restaurants nearby. The breakfast is great with the amazing yogurt being my favourite! The hotel is kept very clean. Highly Recommended! Thanks for a great holiday Vasili, Nitsa and all!

Review 10：Excellent. Nice hotel with swimming pool. Clean rooms with seaview. The hotel is located next to the bus stop, so it's easy to reach it from the airport. It's just a few meters from the beach. You can find a lot of restaurants, markets and car rentals nearby. Polite and helpful staff.

Review 12：forget about that shower curtains please! - who cares! but if you are really interested - yes we had shower curtains! Don't expect 5 stars this is a nice small hotel managed by nice people - so dont expect suits and ties in the reception!

Review 13：If you are looking for a rather silent location in Kos, Kefalos is perfect.. Several nice beaches, restaurants, shops closeby. But these, you can find in other hotels too, what makes Kokalakis special is the people, especially the owner lady. She's there to help you anytime and doing it with pleasure. we got very nice tips on "what to do" and had our best day in Kos (yes even better that Kos Town or Tigaki), I won't write it here..ask her, she's happy to tell. by the way..great breakfast!! I couldn't stop eating those egg-breads..just like my mother's..and fresh figs..sooo nice.. thank you, I hope we will be back!

Review 34：The overal ethos, the welcome, the environment, the breakfast, the accommodation, the view, the evening conversations with the Greek family - all in all, it's a gem of a hotel.

Review 35：Beds fairly hard (which was fine for us) but one was very squeaky. Not much passage space at the end of the bed, but this was probably only our room. Sometimes some night traffic noise and the early morning sunlight streamed into the room.

Pool area lovely (the light meals were also very good) and whole hotel beautifully clean, staff very helpful and friendly. We were lucky and had a bath, so having no shower curtain was no problem. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Review 44：It was a family run hotel with a beautiful pool and the beach within 2 minutes walking distance.... There were many restaurants around and there was no need to venture out. It was very relaxing and we truly enjoyed our stay!

Review 45：The hotel was very central for everything and close to beach and restaurants but is typically Greek! It needs a little updating, especially the room we were in but it didn't affect the enjoyment we had in the resort, perhaps next time we would ask for the upstairs rooms overlooking the pool as these seemed to be the better rooms. Breakfast was very nice, especially the eggy bread, but would have liked some more fresh fruit! Again this wouldn't affect our decision to book this hotel again.

Review 46：We stayed at the hotel for just four nights as we were there to celebrate our son's wedding. The room we had was a quadruple room on the ground floor at the side of the hotel. There was only air conditioning in the double bedroom where my husband and I were and my mother-on-law was in the bunkbeds in the kitchen with no air conditioning so we had to leave our bedroom door open! We had a long delay in our flight coming back last Monday and we vacated our room by 12 noon but we weren't flying until 5.30am the following morning! Nitsa very kindly offered us a ground floor twin room with toilet and shower facilities to use, this room hadn't been cleaned but we didn't think we would be staying in the room, when we learned that our flight was delayed so long we asked if we could stay in the room for a few hours sleep before leaving at 2am. Again they very kindly said we could so we asked for some clean sheets and towels for the bed, they wouldn't take any money for the room, we did leave 30 euros on the bar when we left. If we hadn't had a room to leave our suitcases in and facilities to shower before we left for the airport it wouldn't have been very nice, especially as the mother-in-law is 83! Thank you Nitsa and family! We hope to return for longer next time with the family again.

Review 48：Everything about this hotel, which was by far the best "budget" Greek accommodation in which I have stayed. The warmth and helpfulness of Nitsa, Vasilis and Katerina; the sea view from my room; the good sized swimming pool with an abundant supply of sun beds; the wifi; the air conditioning included in the room price; the generally peaceful ambiance of the hotel; the welcome given to children.

Review 50：Excellent value for price. The nicest and most helpful hotel staff I have ever encountered. Situated extremely close to a wonderful, unpopulated beach, which is exactly what we want. However, if you want to be closer to more tourist attractions (e.g. shopping, Kos Town) then it is probably not the place for you, although quad/moped/car rentals are cheap, and the buses are easy to figure out.

Review 85：I am struggling to find anything...The only complaint I had was the bed...It was very, very firm and my dodgy back didn't appreciate it!

Review 86：The location is perfect - about 25m from the beach and from a handful of great restaurants offering great fresh seafood and friendly service! The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay and the rooms were very clean and tidy. I'm pretty sure all rooms are facing the beach (on that side of the hotel) so there is a good chance that you will have the same/similar beautiful sea view that we had during our stay. Breakfast is free and there was a great selection of continental style food/drink. Eggs cooked to your liking are also available. The pool area was beautiful and drinks at the pool bar were very reasonably priced. There was plenty of free on-site parking which was ideal as we rented a car for the duration of our trip. On exiting the hotel we were presented with a small gift and as a thanks for choosing their hotel - this kind gesture paints a picture of the type of place this is.

Review 87：Air-conditioner is a bit noisy, which is not that good if you have light sleep. And don't forget about mosquitos (but it's not about the hotel but about the place itself). Hosts surely give you the anti-mosquito plug-in.

Review 89：Really great value for money. We were greeted with a welcome drink and the hosts couldn't do enough for us. The children enjoyed splashing in the pool and the beaches in kefalos are stunning. Really recommend a visit to paradise beach. Hire a pedalo with a slide and slide into the Aegean. We had so much fun also the family run hotels knock the socks off the all inclusives which lack the personal touch and genuine authenticity of care provided. It really is the perfect place for families who want to visit the island and not be tied to the hotels. Oh and the gin and tonics at kokalakis are particularly good.
