Reviews for Lakelands Farm Guesthouse
Review 1:The setting from our balcony was beautiful and we enjoyed wine and cheese on the balcony. Host was delightful and accommodations were comfortable and very clean. Delicious breakfast.
Review 2:Warm, friendly owners. Very helpful and kind. Great service. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable room & bed. Lovely view. Warm, cosy, clean. Great location. Wifi signal perfect. Big flat screen TV in lounge for watching all important RUGBY! Highly recommend this BNB x
Review 3:Kettle in the room was not clean when we wanted to use it - had to clean out several black layers before we could use it. It is understandable that maybe it had not been used by previous guests for quite a while, but cleaning staff should still check up on this!
Review 4:Great location just outside Waterville, just about in the centre of the famous Ring of Kerry - we had a balcony room with the most amazing lake and mountain view. Anne cooks a wonderful breakfast!
Review 5:Not a thing.
Review 6:Anne and Frank, the Innkeepers, made us feel as if we were guests in their home, not just customers. Wonderful breakfasts, cooked to order! Gorgeous property with beautiful deck view of Lough Currane and their lush green property. As cyclists, this is a very convenient location for accessing small roads. The Skellig islands are near. Several good restaurants in Waterville.
Review 7:Simply an incomparable view. While the guesthouse, or motel, is unremarkable and the decor unattractive, having an unobstructed view of the lake is breathtaking.
Review 8:The views were beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. There was a selection of meals to choose from so finding something that suits your tastes is easy. Also, we were arriving later than the check-in time due to some mismanagement on our part, but our hosts were very accommodating.
Review 9:The hote was very nice, when we arrive she offer us a cafe or a the. She took the time to show us the room and want to be sure it was ok. The breakfast was very good. The only thing that should be upgrade is to put more indication on the narrow road . We took the room with a balcon...a must, it was so nice to take a glass of wine and relax. The hote also call for us to reserve a table at Sheilin a very good restaurant that we say when we arrive.
Review 10:What a breathtaking view... we sat down in the upstairs lounge room and just took it all in for an hour or so when we arrived. The town is a few kms away, and we were offered a lift in by the owners which we gladly accepted. Just a amazing part of Ireland and would go back in a heartbeat.
Review 11:No complaints- wifi wasn't the best in the room but this is not what we were there for.
Review 12:The location was a bit out of town but was so scenic! We also took a boat ride with Frank at sunset and it was amazing. The owners should note they offer boat hire (with or without guide). If looking for a peaceful retreat this is it.
Review 13:Very nice location next to big lake. it sems like this place attracts mostly anglers it was not really a good place to stay with small children. The trippple room was quite small but the breakfast was great.
Review 14:Toilet seat wobbled! Nylon undersheet on bed made it a little sweaty! The owners describe it as a luxury B&B, but it didn't seem like luxury to us.
Review 15:Nice balcony with views over a lake at the end of their field.
Review 16:The staff were friendly and helpful and helped to make our stay as good as possible. They suggested activities depending on our interests, gave directions and did whatever they could to ensure a great visit!
Review 17:The owner was so nice! This was our favorite place to stay in Ireland. Breakfast was delicious and the views from the room were a dream come true. We only wish we could have stayed longer!
Review 18:- poor wi-fi connection in the bedroom (ok in the lounge)
Review 19:- amazing view on the lake - very quite, peaceful place yet close to Waterville - warm, friendly staff
Review 20:Beautiful views, comfortable rooms and great hospitality. We arrived late and hungry and were given toast, jam, cookies and tea. Proprietress went above and beyond when our son got sick. Stayed for two nights and wished we had booked more.

Review 24:These places do exist! Not only in documentaries. Cosy room with everything you need! Very warm welcome! good indications on where to eat (even make reservations for you) and where to go. Private boatyard at the lake with stunning view! Peace and quiet! Fantastic breakfast cooked to order. You want to be there!
Review 25:We were lucky enough to have a room with a balcony, so I was able to stay up late looking at the stars. We arrived fairly late (9:30 pm) but the owner was there and set out tea for us. The property is right on the lake and is a great area to go for walks or fishing,
Review 28:Spacious room with a double and a twin. Extremely well-equipped. The view from our room was terrific and our hosts were very attentive. We had our hearts set on Skellig Michael and got lucky with the best weather day of the year. There was a backlog of people wanting to go to the island, but thanks to the hosts' connection with the boat operators, we managed to get booked.
Review 29:This property properly fulfils the word "luxury" on all counts. We had a balcony room and the view alone justified the small additional cost. It was ideally situated for our requirements and the welcome and service were faultless.
Review 30:The wi-fi connection was not always good.
Review 31:The views from the windows were just great. The owner lady was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good.

Review 36:I don't recall anything I didn't like.
Review 37:The location was gorgeous, and it wasn't far from the center of Town -- only a mile or so. Very clean in our room and in the common areas. Loved the large 'hanging out" room with the huge windows looking out at the incredible view. Anne -- the owner, was delightful.
