Reviews for B&B La Pilozza Infiorata
Review 1:The owner is hardly understand English, and provide proper service to the guests. We cannot find drinkable water in the room, and the owner ask us to drink the water runs from the faucet in the washing room. It is ridiculous! Moreover, there is no wifi in the room.
Review 2:The location is good. Only takes few minutes to reach Santa Maria del Monte.
Review 3:Owner was hard to find to check in or out- usually there was no one at reception. Reservation was at La Pilozza Infiorata but they seem to be using that as their family home now, so the travellers are actually housed next door at Tres d"Archo. 5 euros per person bought pastries, grapes and coffee for breakfast- missed the meat, eggs, cheese, yogurt and variety of fruits we were served at other B&Bs.
Review 4:Brightly lit room in a good location. Owner gave us good restaurant recommendations.
Review 5:We stumbled upon Caltagirone and absolutely loved it! We stayed in this lovely b&b which made our last night in Sicily very enjoyable. We had a very private studio room, off the main street with its own entrance and small courtyard. The room was really clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, as was the bathroom. The breakfast was one of the nicest we had during our holiday. I would definately also recommend visiting the modern sculpture museum and a beautiful fish restaurant called Il Locandiere.
Review 6:I have never seen such clean rooms! The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the rooms are beautifully designed. In addition, the owners are so warm, welcoming, and helpful. This place alone is worth a trip to Caltagirone, and I'm extremely picky when it comes to comfort and cleanliness.
Review 7:We arrived after 4:30 pm and the doors were locked. Eventually a fellow came by and said his wife would be home later to sign us in. He gave us a key. The bedroom was upstairs up a dangerous spiral staircase. So we had to leave our bags downstairs altho all cupboards etc were upstairs. The bathroom is downstairs. The wife eventually showed up. Did not take our profferd passports and seemed upset that we were there. The rooms are still in the process of completion. Basically this should not be a Booking.com listing.
Review 8:The location is close to the old city.
Review 9:Nothing.
Review 10:clean and bright room in old town. Very kind owner.
Review 11:An interesting, quiet city, lots of old world atmosphere
Review 12:Friendliness of owners Good location in the town Helpfulness of owners Place is new and spotlessly clean and getting better all the time.
Review 13:Typical Italian breakfast of sweets No wifi in the room, as was the case in most Italian hotels Typically, 1000 chanels but none in english
Review 14:Well located with free public parking nearby. The building was old but was beatifully upgraded
Review 15:Nothing really but if i had to mention something it would be the stairs up to the rooms, just because after a long day out, the last thing you would feel like is going up nearly two stories of stairs.
Review 16:The place was very nice and welcoming. The room was warm and very clean. The breakfast was excellent. The owners were very sweet and helpful. Very good location, close to the centre, just a few minutes walk. Definitely a place to recommend to others!
Review 17:Need to be reasonably fit - quite a lot of stairs Difficult location to find if driving
Review 18:Very clean bedroom and shower room Friendly and helpful owner - excellent breakfast Quiet location Very interesting town - especially if you like ceramics
Review 19:Friendly family owners, breakfast, especially the coffee with pot of warm milk, spacious quiet and clean room, easy to find and park nearby. Great location just off the main through road although easy to walk to centre with many ceramic shops and little churches, not forgetting a few memorable fish and pizza restaurants and bars. Very friendly place to visit and not far from the mosaics of Villa Romana Casale which were truly impressive. So glad we did not stay at Piazza Armerina and took advice from another reviewer to stay at Caltagirone.
Review 20:Not that it worried us too much, but there are quite some stairs in this beautifully renovated home - so if you have a dodgey hip or knee - well, you will also get some great exercise tossed in for free !!
Review 21:Very easy to find this place in a rather hectic, though fascinating and interesting town - the very nearby and secure free parking was a Godsend. A family run B&B, it was a joy to stay here. The breakfast, the staff, and the amenities were all excellent. Very good value for money.
Review 22:The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was a true Sicilian one with delicious croissants, pastries and cakes. Would recommend this B&b.
Review 23:Very high quality bed/bedding ,good heating.Very clean and well marked in approaching street areas.Set in the Historical center the B&B has been renovated in a tasteful architectural manner.
Review 24:You will have to climb two flights of stairs to get to the rooms (the staff will carry your luggage up). The location of the B&B, in the historic center of town, is difficult to reach if you have a big car and its a little far from the tourist attractions.
Review 25:The room was confortable and clean. The owners, Giacomo and Agnese, were gentle and helpful. Breakfast was great and plentiful. Dining and living areas are cozy, well equipped and available for guests. The Valley of the Temples in Caltagirone is well worth a visit!
Review 26:My partner would have liked some plain bread at breakfast as everythingwas sweet, even the bread.
Review 27:Lovely b&b, tastefully decorated and very well-located. Comfy bed. Easyto park in neàrby streets (don't try to park in the street it's on.)Good breakfast with home-baked sweets.
