Review 5:Just every thing was great, its was central to everything and children had full run of the street to the park and tennis court and going round on there bikes

Review 6:Great location, some houses have views of the loch. Nice amenities. Somewhat older homes but clean and well kept. Great location and great value for money.

Review 7:Oven not great as it was very old and only had a top element.

Review 8:The cottage was perfect for us, travelling with two teenage children and my elderly mother. It was cosy, but sufficiently spacious. Spotlessly clean. A lovely quiet spot with all that we wanted to see within a reasonable driving distance. Geraldine was delightful.

Review 9:Cottage a bit tired but only on the exterior

Review 10:Very enjoyable few days with friends, local pub was excellent for food, cottage could do with a spruce up on the outside but Geraldine was very helpful and friendly. We went November out of season so very limited facilities. Would definately visit again

Review 11:Cottage was a bit tired and could do with refurbishing - especially beds.

Review 12:Quiet location, fully self contained and very helpful staff. Breakfast bacon, eggs, milk, bread & butter a nice surprise. Helpful scenic day trip information sheets provided. Individual parking. Nearby Whisky Still pub close to walk for dinner.

Review 13:No dish cloth provided, the towels were really old & bleached. Pillows very flat & hard and found when removed pillow cases, duvet & underlay they were in very poor & stained condition.

Review 25:The double bed upstairs could do with a new mattress.

Review 26:Geraldine was brilliant with communication and very friendly!

Review 27:Not fresh but still very comfortable cottages. Peace and silence. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.

Review 28:Geraldine was very helpful and very informative

Review 29:No shop in the village

Review 30:Quiet location during low season

Review 31:Great accommodation, owner very friendly and flexible

Review 32:Poor internet speed. But then again the cottage had Internet, sufficient for email etc.

Review 33:Great location, clean, friendly service.

Review 34:Stayed over a weekend/bank holiday so manager was not available when circuit breaker in cottage went out (we were out for the day when it happened so it was after 5 before we found problem). In-cottage phone did not work so had to find a local (at the marina) with a cell phone to call for help. Response after call was good.

Review 35:Good communications with manager before arriving in Ireland. Lovely setting by the lake. Nice self-catering cottage for two couples. Nicely stocked kitchen. Definitely needed a car as cottage was not as centrally located as I hoped - long drive in and out when sightseeing. Weather was bad, so it was too cold and wet to enjoy the lake or any of the outdoor areas.

Review 36:Nothing, was all excellent

Review 37:Cottage was great, well furnished, had everything we needed including washer dryer, dishwasher, free wifi, etc. we even got tennis racquets and balls to play tennis every day, which my 6 year old loved. Handy for the park and ice cream shop by the lake as well. We will definitely be going back :-)

Review 38:Good communication prior to stay from Owner for collection of keys and settings for heating etc as we would be arriving late on the Friday after on-site office had closed. Letter giving us contact details in an emergency, wi-fi acess codes, local areas of interest leaflets etc. Welcome pack of a milk, butter, bread etc. Cleanliness was not an issue, immaculately presented. Facilities fantastic all as described, parking in own driveway, tennis court at the entrance to the development.Set in a quiet village, Beautiful scenary views of Lough Derg marina and Boat club and of lough itself. Ideal for those who just want to get away from it all in a quiet location, access to vehicle i would say is a must.

Review 39:The Waterside Cottages were a great place to stay for our leisure trip. The location is perfect for a week right on the lake or for daily trips all around Ireland. The owner was extremely friendly and made our stay as comfortable as it gets. Seeing ingredients for an almost full Irish breakfast in the fridge after arriving late the first night made our entire week. The house was clean, comfy, wonderfully warm and fully equipped; from washing machine, dishwasher, toaster,... bed linens and towels were included and there is a very well working free wi-fi. The heating and water additional price was minor and all in all we couldn't get a better value for the money. Wonderful place!

Review 40:Everything what a fabulous part of the world

Review 41:An excellent Christmas gift basket was in the cottage for us. Great staff and great value.
