Review 3：The hotel is quite simple. TV is old. Wi-fi works not well. Windows make some noise because of the wind. Another room balcony was in front of ours. View is not good.
Review 4：Location is very good. It will take several minutes to go to the beach. There are lots of cafes near the hotel. Room was cleaned every day.

Review 8：Beautiful place Plakias itself, not crowdy but with lot of cute tavernas, craft-shops etc. Close to Crete must-see Preveli. Nice access to great Plakias beach. Apollo Plakias is located in guiet street, close to the beach but not in front of it, for us it was an advantage as we were looking for quiet place, has a nice pool, bar, garden with some palm trees... OK value / money rate.
Review 9：Pool temperature was below freezing - unusable. Kitchen plug was burnt out, plain dangerous. One of the beds was so uncomfortable my partner couldn't sleep. There was a smell of sewage the whole time, we couldn't identify where from. So all in all, not even good value for money.
Review 10：The beds were hard and painful - woke up in pain each morning! The wifi was incredibly slow or didn't work at all! The brothers that ran the place were a bit moody - not a particularly friendly environment! No menus at the bar so you didn't know what drinks they sold or the price so if we wanted a Coctail had to ask what they had and sometimes the prices changed! Though based on how much we paid to stay would recommend to others!
Review 11：If you literally want a cheap holiday in the sun by the pool and a stones throw to the beach this is for you - you get what you pay for! The room was basic but clean and the pool was nice with plenty of loungers and a bar! Plakias is a nice little resort and did as a nice cheap break for a week - flights and accom £250 each!
