Review 1：towels were hard (no fabric softener?) and funky pink and green colors. minor things. no shower curtain but that seems standard on the island. i just think a suspension bar w/ a cloth curtain would trap the warmth in nicely and not get water all over the floor.

Review 2：perfect location away from noise and across from the beach (you're across the street but it's not really a used street) very lovely modern rooms and bathroom. beautifully fully stocked kitchen area. there was wine and olive oil for our use while there. satellite tv with english channels was convenient. grocery store in walking distance, about 5 min walk. and walking distance to 'downtown' area (about 7/10 mins). or you can drive over. beach is a coarse sand area but still soft. nice little inlet/cove area.

Review 4：Only one drawback - mattresses and pillows are not matching the levelof the apartments. Synthetic pillows make you keep your neck stressedall night long, mattress with dependent springs is definitely not forcouples with weight difference and far too unsteady to give any rest toback muscles. I'm really sorry to say this as it was one of thebest beach vacations ever and I would like to be back, but my back isstill aching :(

Transparent water despite the fact that beach issandy. And sun beds at the beach are already reserved forapartments' guests. Very quiet place but very close to the villagewith all tavernas, boats, shops, etc. Next door - one of the besttavernas in Plakias

Review 6：Plakias Suites is just perfect! It's peaceful and quiet in a greatlocation. Although it's 3 years old it still looks brand new. Eleniand George paint everything again every year. They take great care oftheir guests and will help you with anything. Don't hesitate to booka taxi through them, it's cheaper. The beach is much nicer at thisend of Plakias and you will have the free use of sun beds and parasols.I will without doubts go back and recommend highly this place. C'estparfait ! Tranquille et au calme. La plage est bien mieux de ce côté quevers le centre de Plakias. Il faut compter 10 mn à pied pour rejoindrele petit centre et les restaurants, mais c'est une promenadeagréable le long de la mer.

Review 8：The roads from Hania to Plakias are not well flagged but this is snissue for Crete and its planners not Plakias Suites!

Review 9：Excellent service with a cleaning service everyday ( includinglaundry!), homemade cookies and local wine, raki and honey as a standardoffering, brilliant views to the sea and breathtaking views of thesurrounding hills. Taken together with sun, sand and lovely tavernas ashort walk away - this is as near perfect as you can expect to find on afamily holiday.
