Reviews for Das Hostel Rijeka
Review 1：Staff that simply just doesn't "want" to work.. they just want their paycheck every month, and what happens in between-doesn't matter as long as the paycheck arrives. Ofcourse not everyone was like that, but it was quite enough for us not wanting to return to that hostel again.
Review 2：Atmosphere in the hostel, interior, comfort.. it's a nice and cousy pleasant place with a decent potential.
Review 3：Shower could have been cleaner or newer, WiFi more powerful in the rooms.
Review 4：The room is OK even if for four people, the bathroom is quite big. The pub under the hostel rooms is very characteristic, with several types of beers and lots of people everytime.
Review 5：On fridays and Saturays, club on the ground floor works untill 4 o'clock in the morning. Rooms are on the upper floor, but are still noisy, even with closed windows. On other days, sleep quality is great (bar closes at midnight.) Staff in the club doubles as hostel staff, but many of them have no information about guests, or even time to handle them, especially in the evening.
Review 6：Hostel is new and clean, with comfortable beds. Each room has its own en-suite bathroom. It is out of the town centre, under 10 minutes by bus, 20 minutes down the stone steps to the centre (and 30 to 45 minutes back) Lots of good bars and restaurants in the vicinity, old fortress and great park. University campus is 5 minutes of walking away. This is not tipical hostel, because it is extension of the rock club Beertija, that doubles as reception and common room.
