Review 1：Room was quite small but didn't mind since it was for one night.
Review 2：Clean, practical room and plenty of parking available. Very good continental breakfast at small extra cost (35 kn/ person in October). If you like purple, decoration will not disappoint. Staff was outstanding and polite.
Review 3：Not so much a 'didn't like' but the signage to the hotel could be better. The instructions on the website are good but the road signs have gone missing so it wasn't easy to know if you were in the right place.

Review 5：Breakfast wasn't expensive but below standard or expectations. We were informed that they serve scrambled eggs and sausages and we found a little at our first breakfast. Everything was cold. On the second day there was ONE boiled egg on the table. No scrambled eggs or sausages. We also found two sad pieces of tomato from the first day. It was definitely not enough food for all. The staff were also arguing over our heads about some other guests thinking we don't understand while eating breakfast. Not nice.

Review 7：Our room was a bit too small for two people. I suppose it was a single room, but since we were there on high season, maybe there were no bigger rooms available. Despite this, it was comfortable, clean and pretty!
Review 8：The hostel is new, well furnished and its location is pretty good, although not in the very city centre of Rijeka (but of course this was something we knew before our arrival). It offers a parking place for car, right in front (and behind) the main entrance, which was free of charge. The staff is really friendly and nice! Breakfast, which was not included, costed 35 kunas and it offered a wide range of food, more savory than sweet food but it is nonetheless super. Wifi connection is great, no problems at all during our 2-nights-stay. Plus, all services such as hairdryer, air conditioning. tv, ecc... were available. We were very satisfied!
Review 9：We were unhappy to discover that the although we booked a double bed room we were given a single bed room with two pillows! Unfriendly staff. Very expensive. Very small room.

Review 14：The only tiny thing was how small the bedrooms were in comparison to the hallway! They were small but also compact and had everything we needed, so was fine for a stop off point.
Review 15：Me and my friend stayed here for one night as a stop gap before travelling on to Novalja, Lavanda is very nicely presented,and very clean throughout, the staff were more than helpful with us, and went the extra mile to help us with everything that we needed. Only a short walk down the hill to the beach which was lovely. Staff also gave us some lavender when we checked out! Lovely! Would definitely stay again.
Review 16：Not a true complaint: the atmosphere in the hostel is very hotellike. So not really fun but great if you need peace and quiet. A bit more pricey then other hostels.
Review 17：I needed breakfast half an hour earlier than it usualy starts. They made it without a fuss. I used a private room. It is almost hotel quality (by price also).
Review 18：Though we booked only for one night, we couldn't escape to learn that the mattress had a little pit in the middle. Consequently we, my girlfriend and me, tended to roll into the pit where we met for cuddling. So it wasn't a bad spoiler.
Review 19：The staff was very helpful, competent and friendly. The hotel is located peacefully in an area with little traffic. Breakfast was delicious and sufficient. Last but not least, my girlfriend got pleasant little gift on our departure.

Review 21：The hostel was great.Very friendly personal,always trying to help you and give a lot of information. The room was very clean and nice interier. We really feel like at home. 10 min to the bus station and to the supermarket and 20 min to the beach. It was my first time in Croatia and I really like it and thanks to "Lavanda" i had nice memory about Croatia and will definitely come back. And we get small presents at the end from personal, it was really sweet:)
