Review 1：The beach needs to be cleaned now and again. The beach beds need repairing. More damaged ones than useable ones.

Review 3：Location, sea view and sunsets small private beach with free sunbeds. The rooms are basic but have everything you need and kept clean and well maintained. There are some negative comments regarding the small lane into the village it is tarmac road but unlit I and my young daughter found this not to be a problem and felt safe.

Review 11：We liked the fact the apartment is situated on a private sandy beach, there are bbq facilities to use if you wish, the air conditioning was a necessity in 40 degree heat we had but charged at a reasonable rate. Pre-ordering food from the local abc supermarket was a great idea for a self catering holiday to have on arrival. The place to stay if you want a secluded beach but near enough for day trips also. We'd definitely return!

Review 33：Stray cats, all over the place not able to put the door open in the appartment, without several cats in your studio (the complete island is full with cats. If you are allergic to cats, don't go to Rhodos). Very poor kitchen tools (2 forks, 2 knifes, 2 cups, 2 glasses, 1 cooking pan, 1 cooking pot). If you have noisy neighbours, you don't sleep, walls are very tin. Lights outside studio's burning all night, so not possible to open door or window for the heat inside.

Review 34：View was really breathtaking ! Small beach was also very nice (unfortunately some other tourists of the studio's thought it was a nudist beach). Nice beach, super view, only 3x per day, you get overloaded by tourists for the glass bottom boat. Very nice quiet location (if the neighbours are quiet :-( ). City center was close, only 5 minutes walk, full with restaurants, shops, bars, etc... very nice for an evening walk ! Appartements were cleaned every day, new towels, etc... Ariconditioning is really a must due to the heat at night, but a pity the cost was very high (if you take the roomrate + prive for the airconditionning, you can book other and better locations). Parkingspace was good. Location to explore the island was good.

Review 39：I felt that the staff at the reception lacked a lot of the Greek "warmness" I am used to when travelling in Greece. The reception is also far from the apartment and I felt a little bit treated as being the guest of some "appendix" of the resort. They also didn’t try to offer me some help with my luggage, which I had to carry around myself for several kilometres, since I was travelling with public transport. Most of all the management showed a total lack of flexibility when it came to change the dates of the booking, despite the fact that booking.com was ready to change that and that I was myself willing to pay a higher price. The additional price to be paid for the air-conditioning is also a little outrageous (and you cannot really do without it with temperatures of over 35°C !), they could at least have offered me that one for free, for not having accepted the change in the booking. The kitchen lacked basic cooking and cleaning material, which I had to buy myself in a supermarket – a little bit of a waste if you are only staying for 5 days! I’m sure there’s plenty left from previous guests…

Review 40：The location is great, a few steps from a small beach, just shared by a few other guests and local fishermen. The same for the view of the sea of course... The cleaning staff is friendly and helpful, the room is kept very clean. Also a very friendly family lives on the groundfloor - but they have nothing to do with the management.

Review 43：Zero assistance/map/directions to get to the apartments. Lack of house phone to contact reception is a major safety issue. Needs daily towel change or more towels. Daily housecleaners did not come, nothing to keep the floors sandfree.

Review 45：The reception is a good ten minutes walk away. This generally isn't a problem as they leave the key in the door prior to you arriving but if you have a problem it can be a bind. Taxi drivers in Pefkos often didn't seem to know where the place was. You have to tell them it's next to the glass bottomed boat mooring or round the corner from the main Lea beach. Getting a taxi was sometimes a problem too as there are just not enough of them. The beach isn't much and it is small but the water is shallow, warm and clear. We had some of the usual little problems; the shower head spat water in all directions, ants in the kitchen, that sort of thing but these are minor gripes. We would go back though; for the price it's good value. If you're going remember to take a torch and get the air conditioning. We went in August, it was blistering hot.

Review 46：The best thing about the Anthi Maria apartments is the location. They are right on the beach and the views of the bay from the balcony are wonderful. The apartments are clean, fairly basic but have roomy bedrooms. It is in a quiet location at the end of a small road. If you're walking back after a night out, you'll probably need a torch. Bars and restaurants are within five to ten minutes walk. We recommend the Flyers cafe through the day, which is nearest; the food is good and the staff are genuinely friendly. You can walk across the private airstrip to it (but check the plane isn't taking off or landing!). The place is cleaned regularly and no signs of cockroaches or other nasties.

Beautiful place.My 4th time in amazing Pefkos and this was by far the best place we've stayed.Traditionally Greek and a little peace of paradise. Please don't change a thing. We are definitely going back next year ......, or this year again if we can fit a trip in before the end of the season. There is never long enough when there. Pefkos is home and Anthi Maria was the icing on the cake. Thank you!!!! Ps I hope someone is now feeding the Anthi Maria cat and her 3 lovely kittens-so adorable..........been back 3days and really miss it all.

Review 56：The apartments were o.k. but the beach was dirty with litter and metal & concrete in the shallow water. The beach was also very stony in the water. Pefkos was not great, full of t.v's, loud music and English bars.

Did not know that afamily lived downstairs with two screaming children. Also that they hadtwo large dogs that messed all over the beach and out the front of theapartments. The beach is not private as there pepole coming and goingthe whole time. It was not as tranquil as we thought. That the whole ofPefkos closes so there were no resturants open, no supermarkets open. Weasked for a lift from the apartments to take us into the town to pick upthe coach for our transfer to the airport and we were left stranded. Ifit had not been for the receptionist taking it upon herself to checkthat we had been picked up we would have missed our flight home. I wouldnot recommend Anthi Maria Apartments to anyone, I would never go back.

Review 98：The studio itself is basic but very nice! The view from the balcony is so beautiful! The athmosphere of the place is very pleasant, it's quiet, authentic greek. The beach in front of the hotel is not so good for taking a bath but it takes you 3-5 minutes to get to the main Pefkos beach which is very nice, clean and quiet!

There are several shops to buy food nearby (10 minutes of walking). Perfect for relaxing and quiet pastime. Perfect clean sea where you can enjoy watching sea fishes.

The welcome is very impersonal because Anthi Maria Apartments has no own loby and you have to go you have to register at the desk to Matina Beach Hotel Furthermore, you (too much) to pay for the airconditioning and there are no cushions on the sun loungers or they are broken. The loungers on the private beach are all missing and parasols. In short, faulty maintenance and very impersonal reception, you feel in Anthi Maria Apartments Not a guest

Review 113：I read previous comments on the place before I booked and the main items mentioned were ants and difficulty finding. Yes there were some ants, but we were there for one night only and had no food with us so they didn't bother us. And yes it was a treck to find reception at another hotel (just call them and they will help you). The keys were in our door when we got there. If you're happy with basic and clean and are budget conscious then I would truly recommend. The position is beachfront, with its own private beach. All rooms have sea and mountains views and the sun sets from your balcony. This was priceless and worth any small compromise.

It has been more than10 years that I met a hotel in Greece that actually do not have air-condition at this price group and even worse, to have the air-conditionand to have it locked unless you pay! Butair-condition with 35-38 Celsius at night is necessary and youshouldn't release a room that it is not standard!

Reported at reception in main hotel but no one seemed very interested. Felt a bit like the poor relation. Never saw any staff at all at the apartments.
