Review 1：Rooms need a refurb. but clean and comfortable. Traffic noise, trucks made it necessary to have the windows closed and use air conditioning. To be fair I did not check the location carefully enough when booking, we usually try to avoid anywhere with too much traffic.
Review 2：The staff who checked me in were accommodating, friendly and abliging. I needed to change my booking and it was absolutely no trouble. The owner even went out of his way to inform me that it was changed. Clean room. Central location. Easy walk to everywhere.

Review 12：The booking did not go through, the room did not represent what I had booked and the manager was rude. We had been staying at this hotel for nearly 30 years as our place of choice whenever we were in Bathurst but I could not do this again given the rude behaviour of the owners son and the way we were treated when we questioned the poor room allocated which bore no resemblance to our booking online.

Review 24：The bathroom ceiling was splattered with mould. You could see it going up the walls. The shower screen wasn't cleaned properly as I slipped in the shower, I put my arm out on the screen, and down I went. With water added to it, you could see how much buildup was there. I rubbed the whole screen and got soap swirls everywhere. A it dangerous. Also, on weekends when it is busy, they don't serve any cooked meals for breakfast. Some may like cereal, but if you pay so much for a basic room, why can't you get what you want?

Upgraded to spa room which was very comfortable except for an open drain smell and a light which did not work. It was late afternoon and very cold and we were stunned and extremely grateful for this generous and most unexpected gesture. In addition to the wonderful location of the motel we loved the spaciousness of our room and the very comfortable two seater couch.

We booked a double (usually we go for queen) and realised as tall people we really shouldn't compromise on the bed as we were both hanging off the end. For a single business traveler, this would probably be fine, for a couple with a bit of luggage, it was quite cramped. They could also do with a weather seal around the door as the freezing cold air blew in under the door gap and around the sides all night long making to room very cold.
