Review 1：The shower stand wasn't fixed, so taking a shower was a challenge. Not all rooms are being offered during the low season.

Review 11：- The hotel is isolated with the only option aside from car rental a €20 return trip to the town. -the hotel organise the cars which ups the price of the trip also. if booked separately to the hotel it is 25% cheaper. - The pool was rented out for children's birthdays twice of the 5 days we were there which considering the isolation was hardly relaxing plus no warning given. - the pool is also used by locals who are intimidating and when mentioned to the staff they said they could do nothing about it - A number of the staff were very hostile with sighs and huffs at very modest requests such as room service or using a towel for the pool. - The food is very average - The private beach although pretty is absolutely tiny barely a car could fit in the space. - This was an expensive mistake I wish I could be refunded We have stayed all around the world including Greece in hostels to 5* and this was the most overrated overpriced I have ever experienced.

Review 14：We have stayed at the Akti Taygetos a couple of times before and have been happy going there. Due to being a short distance away from the town of Kalamata, is very quiet at night and the sea view is fantastic. Having a car is good if you're doing lots of trips to town.The staff have always been friendly and the choice of breakfast is unbelievable.

Review 16：The mattress of the bed was very comfortable but they were two together, so you could feel the wooden part in the meddle. Wi-Fi sometimes, with not so strong signal, but it was nothing n comparison with the rest.

Review 26：They had forced us into a bungalow which does not have 4-star rooms. We asked to be moved to the main building or to get a refund - we had the reservation for a superior room, but they had given us a bungalow room - but they refused. We didn't even have minibars in the rooms. The air conditioning was only functioning if the card was inserted AND if the balcony door was closed - guaranteed way to create an oven-like atmosphere when you got back from the beach. It then took the air conditioning 30 minutes to cool the room. The Wi-Fi was a complete disaster. There were access points all over the hotel area, but you were either unable to connect to them, or you connected but the internet was not working. You can, in fact, say that they didn't have internet. The beach and beach bar had no access point whatsoever. There isn't much to do in the resort so you'd need a car to drive to the nearby Kalamata. Overall, much lower value for money than we had anticipated.

Review 74：Staff in dining area were pleasant but I felt they were watching guests eating and too eager to take their plates up when maybe not all the time guests would be finished. I didn't like the cats around the tables while guests were eating as they were always looking for food and it made me sad to see them hungry, perhaps hotel staff could feed these cats before guests sit down for their food as there was a huge amount of food wasted- I am sure the cats would love the waste!! When I asked for hot water for my morning cup of tea on my last morning I was told the water could not be hot, strange, because it was hot every other morning!

Thishotel sometimes misses the point: noisy "Greek music"nights by the pool and privately-booked celebrations (E.G. afterbaptism reception and buffet), make it hard to get a well-deservedsleep at 1 A.M. When asked about the estimated time the noise wouldcome to an end, hotel staff replied vaguely "within 1/2 - 1hour", in a manner indicating that they would be doing the restof the guests a favor.

Review 87：This was our second time staying at the hotel. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. Because we were three adults, we had a family villa of two rooms. The villa was very spacious, however it needs a little general upgrading. And even though we paid a very discounded price it would have been nice to have had fresh orange juice with breakfast. Review 95：Unfortunately the toilets of our room were bad (some pbs with water).Even if we said to the Reception about this pb, the following day, at the morning= same problem...(the reception said us: "no pb, its solved). The shower had a pb too (but we did not have said about this because with the toilets it was enough!). The place is not to Kalamata, but out of Kalamata. We looking for the hotel, and happily we found some nice greek people who indicates us this. So it will be VERY APPRECIATE for other consumers to have this information. Its near the coast but OUT of Kalamata.

Review 96：Reception failed to provide a bath plug of the correct size, so we could not have a bath. The shower screen was so small that having a shower made the bathroom very wet.

Although the hotel is a business conference resort, we stayed there for a romantic weekend break, and it was perfect for the occasion. The resort is quiet, with wonderful gardens and a fabulous swimming pool. This hotel is highly recommended for the discerning guest.
