Renovated in 2013 at a central location on the Korzo promenade, Hostel Rijeka offers air-conditioned rooms and dormitories equipped with lockers and free Wi-Fi. There is a grocery shop on site and many bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity.
The hostel has a shared kitchen area equipped with a toaster, fridge, microwave and kitchenware. Guests can relax on the shared terrace or in the lounge area with LCD satellite TV. Ironing facilities can be used upon request.
Public buses stop just 150 feet away and provide connections to other parts of town, while the Main Bus Station is only 1,000 feet away. The ferry port is 1,150 feet from the Rijeka Hostel.

Review 1：Our room on 4th floor, carraying luggages up not entertaining.

Review 2：Location excellent, near bus terminal and places of interest. Bread & croissant on offered as breakfast.

Review 3：I did not like the very low watt bulbs everywhere. Far too littlelight.And there was no common room except the kitchen which was ok asthere were not many people at this time of year.Also of course, thereare 3 flights of stairs to get to hostelbut they helped me with my bagboth up and down..

Review 4：It was a real hostel (in an old historic house) and it even offeredbreakfast (or a snack at other times with tea /coffee), very wellrun, good staff (one did not speak English but French which was ok forme). Room spacious with nice sofa to sit and chat on(or open suitcases)

Review 21：The booking.com says private bathroom in the double room and then says shared bathroom. I was expecting a private bathroom and got a shower in the room but had to go down the hall in the middle of the night to use the toilet. The room is 4 flights up, and carrying bags was a chore. When my husband paid, he was charged extra for breakfast, which we had not known about when we booked the hotel.

Review 22：The location of Hostel Rijeka is great, very close to the bus station. The hosts were wonderful and the room clean. The breakfast had fresh bread and wonderful donuts.

The facilities were VERY clean and the blankets, pillows, etc.... were very comfortable as well. Oh-yeah... we were also happy that they had very hot water in the showers because several other hostels we stayed at on the trip didn't.

Review 86：I wouldn't know where to start, the hostel is at the 3rd floor of abuilding with no elevator and nobody tells you that. They have noparking and all parking around are payed (around 1euro/h). At yourarrival nobody gives you a map of the city or explains what you can dofor 1 day staying. But the worst part comes during the night because thenoice from all the teraces and bars outside is absolutely awful, wecouldn't sleep until 3AM.even we complained various times and wantedto leave they say we have to pay for the night anyway...47euros for theprivate room with shared bathroom !!! Outrageous !!! the price isexcesive for a hostel in a little harbour city comparing to the averageprices of accomodation in Croatia. Customer care in this hostel lack alot of professionalism and location is good only if you want to partyall night long

Review 88：This is definitely a hostel, so facilities are minimal. It's also up several long flights of stairs, so be prepared! On the other hand, the man working at the desk when we checked out was kind enough to carry our bags down for us.

Review 89：We found Hostel Rijeka spotless and the staff very friendly. If you're passing through Rijeka you'll find it centrally located near the harbor, the bus station and the train station. There are fast food possibilities everywhere, and the staff can recommend an excellent restaurant on the harbor.

This was my first hostel and I was very pleasantly surprised. Location - you cant ask for better - for a traveller, everything is so close and you are in the pedestrian central city street.
