Review 1:The Opal Inn was a stop over but the staff were really helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean. Dinner is recommended in their restaurant which was delicious!

Review 2:The Bathroom was dilapidated. The Hand Basin was cracked. The Toilet bowl was stained. The Carpet was worn. Needs a general upgrade. Currently overpriced.

Review 3:The meals in the adjoining Hotel Restaurant were high quality and fairly priced.

Review 4:The fact that they were running a fuel discount promotion on booking in , but on speaking to 3 other travellers none of us had been offered a voucher & were only given one after seeing the sign on an outside wall, too late , we had all fuelled up at another servo

Review 5:The bed, the quiet area & overall comfort

Review 6:Nothing really. Took a while for the cold tap to turn from hot to cold but I'll blame that on Coober Pedy's climate

Review 13:Good location, close to good food outlets

Review 14:The fridge was utterly hopeless; it should have been defrosted, should have been larger and should have contained shelves and trays.

Review 36:This motel was centrally located and the level of accommodation was acceptable

Review 37:There is nothing I disliked.

Review 38:I loved everything about this place, the customer service was above and beyond. I woke up reception at 5 o'clock in the morning. Even though check in, is at 2. It cost me 15 dollars extra. But, I was checking in 9 hours early and woke up someone as well, it was worth it. Then the day before check out I asked them storage for my luggage and they said I could have a late check out if I wished. Free of charge. I can't say enough positives about the customer service, everyone is so nice and helpful. My kettle broke at 9.30pm and someone came round with a new one straight away, no questions asked. In terms of service, best hotel I've stayed in. The rooms aren't fancy, but they have all you need and the same as any hotel. They are big with a 2 piece sofa and desk with chairs.

Review 39:Appears new staff/owners. Booked two rooms and on arrival wasinformed they were side by side (given rooms apart, although informedthey were side by side.
