Review 1：Just had issues with the wifi connectivity in our suite.

Review 2：Rooms, Ambience, Hospitality, Courteousness. Staff was extremely friendly and served us well. Location was convenient too.

Review 3：When U enter the hotel u do not get that good feeling as there is no1 at the gate to welcome u.! Only when u reach at the reception u r given a grand welcome. Wifi is very very very bad

Review 5：Most of the personal does not understand english. The hotel is clean inside, but you open the window and just out of it everything is dirty. Unlike the rest of India, the portions of "a la carte" meals are high and portions are poor. They took over two hours to give me an invoice.

Review 6：Some of the personal went out of their way to please us. Some of the paintings and decorations are very beautiful. Outdoors pool is very nice. Breakfast is great. A couple of the restaurant managers really made an incredible job in pleasing me with a super good cappuccino.

Review 9：complete lack of safety for first aid. during an early evening shift, there was no one to be found to help a dislocated knee after slipping on wet marble. asking for assistance or accountability the next morning with management was frustrating and useless. i wouldn't recommend staying here in case of emergency

Review 10：the location is most definitely what you come for. brilliant 360 degree roof top views of city, lake, sunrise and sunset. quite close to everything you might need (city palace, restaurants, shopping, lake side strolls)

Review 14：Too expensive for not big thing. Far from the nice area of Udaipur, far even from the nice area that looks towards Udaipur. Many rooms don't even have windows. Anyhow there is no interesting view anywhere around. Pool is dirty.

Review 34：if you eat at the restaurant of the hotel, bear in mind that the service is quite slow... also, only 4 sunloungers are available around the swimming pool for sunbathing

Review 36：A little bit older. Beds can use a new matrass and new sheets. My sheets lost their quality because all the times they had been washed. But I must say, it's all in the details.

Review 38：In a hotel of this category (3-4 ****) one comes and payes more than"normal" because one wants to have privacy in every part of the day. Inthe room it was okay: in the restaurant it was terrible, no privacywhatsoever. Even at breakfast (let alone at dinner!) there were 6 or 7or 8 pairs of eyes directed towards me and my plate constantly. Ipersonally hate that kind of behaviour from servants:it does not giveyou any feeling of privacy. Servants should be very discrete in hotelslike this! That is called ' the art of serving'! Chunda Palace should dowell in investing in training their servants about this.

Review 39：The hotel is in very good shape. Just renovated after 16 years work.The result is a little bit overdone, seen from the point of view of "my European eyes": too heavenly decorated everywhere, and I did not seethat in the other Udaipur Palaces. For the rest: the room was nice andspacious, the bathroom very clean and comfortable and the bed feelslike home.

Review 45：Despite these nice feature, price for this hotel was expensive unnecessarily. This is the opinion on every person i was sharing with. Food at roof top restaurant is not much tasty. Not because of my nationality, but because of food quality by my friend native person opinion. And drinking on menu were not prepared all. Only foster beer was available among 6 kinds of them.

Review 46：We arrived at the hotel too early at around four am. But staff welcomed us and prepared the room immediately. And my friend lost own valid id but they understood us and helped to get entered the hotel. This kind of reasonable and susceptible service caught our mind perfectly. All staff in this hotel are very kind and nice all the time. And the hotel appearance is terrific like real old castle or house. Interior was decorated with old style rajasthan picture and painting and always being neat. One more thing.

Review 47：Hotel administration not up to the mark. We booked and paid for 3 luxuryrooms but on arrival staff persisted (even after showing bookingconfirmation) in asserting that only 2 had been booked. There was alarge wedding party at the hotel and 2 of the rooms given us turned outto be directly beneath the restaurant which was later used as a dancefloor. Staff informed us only at dinner about this and offered to moveus to other rooms - we refused not wishing to have to re-pack etc. Laterhowever and despite the use of ear-plugs, the very loud music combinedwith tapping feet forced us to change our minds - now we had to dressagain as well as pack! Many wedding guests stayed in the hotel - why notgive them these rooms? Surely the arrangements for the wedding wouldhave been made very much in advance and things could have been plannedaccordingly? Both things show room for improvement in the area ofadministration.

Review 48：We live in India and visited Udaipur with 3 guests from our home countryThe Netherlands. We chose Chunda Palace to give them the experience ofstaying in an opulent "Old India" style of hotel. They were delightedand it answered all expectations we had. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Review 49：The staff had little warmth and charm, They tried to mask the truth,When asked why the indoor pool was not heated they said it never was.Then they then admitted it was broken, The gym equipment was alsobroken. The hotel building was something special but some staff neededmore hospitably shown to quests.
