Review 1：We were stunned by the scenery that is so picturesque! We also loved the spacious and yet cleaned bathroom. The warm welcome from the helpful staff made our stay comfotable and convenient.

Review 5：we chose this resort as it was close to the dive center we booked and it is a small sweet resort with great service. No direct beach access, but Candidasa anyhow does not have many beaches anymore due to erosion. Free Yoga twice a week and really excellent food and service. It was very very tasty there and just hanging out at the pool after diving was very nice. Can surely recommend it. They also offer transfers into Candidasa, but there is not much to see anyhow except some nice bars and restaurants.

Review 6：Grubby dusty mosquito nets over bed needs replacing Grey flannel on arrival looked revolting. Posters old and faded . Poor quality breakfast cereal.

Review 8：a bit far out of town, walking along a very busy road at night to and fro to get to massages and restarants in the area.. i would say a 20min walk, which isnt much but when its dark and you have cars coming all over the place you have to be on your guard, .

Review 16：The hotel itself was fine, but: A lot of plastic waste around Candi Dasa - more than in other parts of Bali. It was really sad and shocking to see the big piles of plastic in the jungle and also in the sea while snorkeling.

Review 21：This is a great resort, located away from the touristy parts of Bali. Great location if you want to relax, disconnect and eat most meals at the hotel. The restaurant had great food though, so it was not a problem for us. Breakfast was yummy. Facilities are great, we had a bungalow with oceanview which was fantastic. The pool was lovely and even if there is no beach that does not matter at all - great snorkelling is on your doorstep! Nice massage area by the pool to a good price, and a spa with more selections. Diving school next door is also really great. We also did a tour that thy organised for us, and used the airport transfer which was comfortable. Awesome place!

Review 25：air conditioning was noisy and old, still worked but the quality of the filtered air we don't think was too good Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner One morning the shower went off completely and the water stopped mid shower it took two calls and about 20 minutes to fix it, no one told us it was fixed we just kept trying not ideal if you're standing soaking and soapy (the staff called about 45 minutes after to say it was fixed ...) I suppose this isn't the end of the world but a bit annoying at the time

Review 27：Lack of a beach Long drive from the airport (for a 75yr old)

Review 28：The staff couldn't do enough for my 75yr old father, as a solo traveller he was made to feel extremely safe and welcome. We chose a half board option and my father said the extensive range was out of this world. Staff also explained many of the dishes to my father, knowing he was not familiar with Indonesian cuisine.

Review 30：We are divers diving at Padangbai, needed 20min drive to the area but it was worth it. Hotel was lovely. The pool was so nice, there were plenty of comfortable chairs and daybeds overseeing the lovely coastline. It's so chilled listening to jazzy music and the waves. Also lovely place to see stars at night. Room was lovely with mosquitoes net over the beds. Beds very comfortable. Plenty of seating outside our bungalow for drying our diving equipment. Restaurant was good. We got so lazy and didn't even go out for food. Sometimes can get a bit hot. Grilled Mahi Mahi was excellent. We ended up visiting the spa a few times. It's wonderful! A bit pricey for Bali.

Review 31：I was in a garden bungalow close to the swimming pool. I was disturbed early morning (7am) with staff cleaning. The staff are really friendly - a bit too friendly! and sometimes conversations felt a bit strained and awkward. I was getting interrupted a lot while I was in restaurant and asked questions (maybe because I was eating alone) but I just wanted peace and to be left alone!

Review 32：The bungalow was very cosy and had a really comfortable bed. The tv channels available were really good as was the wifi around the whole resort. There's a 2 hour free cycle booking service which was great to explore the local area (though you have to be careful on the roads). A shuttle bus was also available to take you into the village at 10am each morning, returning at 12noon. Overall the resort felt very luxurious and was really good value for money.

Review 33：frustrating that only 2 devices can be hooked onto the wifi at once.. if you have phones and a laptop you have to keep switching between them.

Review 34：I have no idea what other people keep banging on about with this property, after reading the reviews, we were concerned.. Don't be, this place is in really good condition, staff are amazing, breakfast is a wide range, yes its isolated, but that's why you go there!

Review 54：wifi not very performing. Price difference with our friends who booked about the same time, but enjoyed a very big credit which we did not have. Is probably our own fault, but it would be nicer if the rates would be comparable for same rooms. Negative experience with a german group doing aqua gym with a lot of noice at 6.30 in the morning when the swimming pool is not really open yet. Just in front of our room ! and the hotel staff is too friendly and does not really feel to have authority to stop such a thing.

Review 55：Very nice swimming pool overlooking the sea. The rooms were big enough, although ocean view is not really so. The breakfast was nice, a buffet with plenty of choice and the food of the restaurant was also nice . We loved our stay.

Review 56：The food and drinks are far to expensive. We booked 4 nights. After 2 nights we had to change the room because some other guests asked after our room. After 3 nights we were told, that we couldn't stay longer because there was a mistake in the bookingsystem and the Hotel was fully booked. This is an absolut NO GO!! We recommend everyone to stay away from this place.

Review 57：The pool was nice and clean. The breakfast was super. The hotel has no beach and you can't swim in de sea. The internet is broken down all the time, The hotel is far away from the village.

Review 58：The rooms are quite dated, with the bathroom not really up to resort standards. The room felt quite small with a third bed in it (for our teenager). It's not walking distance to the main restaurant area (which isn't very big in Candidasa). But the restaurant at the resort is fine if you don't want to catch a taxi in. There's no beach. The pool shuts quite early.

Review 59：The grounds are pretty and well-maintained, with a nice pool area and a strip of sand with loungers. The buffet breakfast and dinner menu options are good. The staff are efficient and friendly. It's a good base for exploring that end of the island.

Review 60：Wifi was not strong enough to charge my device,s up so couldn't keep in touch with friends. A little entertainment would have been nice. Shuttle bus limited times. Villa was beautiful but to be surrounded by building boards was a bit clostrophic and outlook was not pleasant.

Review 76：Old accomodation, room with old furnitures, the air-conditioned didn't work so it's very difficult to sleep. The pool is in the front of the sea but all in this hotel is very very old or broken. The photos on the website don't reflect the reality. There is nothing to do in Candidasa, there is no access to the beach : the construction in front of the sea totally destroyed the which has complety disappeared! On the top, prices of the spa and the restaurant are very expensive : most of the double price you pay in greater cities like Ubud or other part of Bali, more touristic.

Review 91：- we stayed there only 1 night, in transition before taking the boat to the Gilis. From outside the hotel looks very nice, located in front of the sea, nice public areas. But: the bedroom was really not at the standard of a 4stars hotel: very dark, no intimacy (either you close curtains or everyone can see you), very old fashioned bathroom, noisy airconditionning and fridge, too bright lightening at the rear of the room... On top of that, the buffet served for dinner is of poor quality (greasy meat, no taste fruits, poor choice of dessert) and the wine almost undrinkable. Staff is also not classy: a bit bored and sometimes not speaking english very well. Also note that there is no beach but rocks so do not hope to go swimming in the sea (at least not in front of the hotel)

Breakfast buffet options were plentiful. Afternoon activities were interesting/fun for kids and others. Morning walk through the woods, fields was a highlight. Yoga was nice too.
