Review 2：Lovely balcony with fantastic sea view and free sunbeds on the beach. Bathroom better than expected as many Greek hotels just have a wet room but this one was modern and had a shower curtain. Breakfast was good.
Review 3：Floor-level aircon outlet on balcony, takes up bit of space and kicks out warm air - a very minor criticism, especially considering all the good points.

Review 11：Property directly opposite the beach, sea view room with air con, spotlessly clean. The service of all staff was excellent and very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend the hotel and the resort, we will definetly revisit with friends.

Review 13：Beatiful location a stones throw from the main part of Plakias. Lovely hotel all with sea view balcony. Room we were in was all newly refurbished and bathroom wouldn't look out of place in a 4star hotel. Owner and staff couldn't do enough for you. I will be back.

Review 17：Our door-room did not lock and it was easy to open from outside with little pressure.We stayed for three nights and even though they got in our room, neither the floor was not cleaned up, nor our towels, only our trush was moved out.At last there was not any clothesline and we put our swimwears on chairs to dry.

Review 19：Great location! Very quiet! Will rekommend Plakias for families with kids. Close to the shops and tavernas!(recomend taverna sirrocco and taverna kri-kri) There is a beach right in front of the hotel! All rooms have a sea view! If you have a car you have a great choice of beaches just few minutes away (souda beach very quiet great for kids!) There is breakfast available free of charge ( not a lot of choices but better than nothing most of the hotels dont offer you any breakfast!!!) Have visited Crete before and will definetely come back again!

Review 36：The owners, Georgeos & Ioanna, both spoke very poor English. This made communication very difficult, even when checking in/out. Both appeared to be running the establishment on their own, so they were often not around, but they did try their best to be helpful. Their approach though could be viewed as amateurish.
Review 37：Very close to the centre of Plakias, but in a quiet location just across the road from a lovely beach. Next door to 2 excellent tavernas. Perfect location. Fantastic sea view from balcony, which was nicely decorated with flowers.
Review 38：Very friendly atmosphere, excellent breakfasts. Excellent location at the edge of the village, quiet place, but only 5 minutes walking to the center of the village. The owner Georgious is very friendly and helpful, he is always there, when you need any assistance! Renovated rooms, new beds, good bathrooms, what you need more for relaxing! WIFI has strong connection and was available in nearest tavernas too! And sea view! From ALL rooms you have excellent sea view all the time. Of course this is not 5* hotel, but this is very good quality for money paid. Hope to be back next year!
Review 39：New-renovated nice, clean, large room with balcony with wonderful view over beach, sea & seaside mountains. (All rooms facing sea) Nice & friendly staff always willing to help & provide service. Functional internet. Will go there again.
Review 40：The location of the hotel is amazing. We fell in love with Plakias and we had fantastic viee from the balcony straight to the sea and mountains around the bay. Short walk distance to all of the restaurants with great food (Ostracos for breakfast and Mousses for dinner). Rooms are clean and cosy with basic standard but enough for just few hours in for sleep. Communication with the owner in english is very limited (look for the hotel bar staff to help) but very flexible. We could stay until late afternoon last day.
Review 41：We were in Creta Mare Hotel for 7 nights and did not want to leave. it has a Excellent location at the edge of the village, away from the bustle of tourists but still a short walk from the center. Relaxing balcony with stunning sea views. A quiet place with friendly staff. Excellent value for money. Recommended!

Review 44：There was no hot water at 4 evenings out of 7 neither in the morning. No shelves in the wardrobe. Furniture and equipment are of low quality, several things (hanger, door opener) were broken. The safes in the rooms didn't work. The WiFi was only available on the balcony not inside the rooms.

Review 47：Η τοποθεσια ειναι μαγευτικη και ολα τα δωματια εχουν θεα τη θαλασσα και ειναι πολυ ευρυχωρα και καθαρα.γενικα φαινεται να εχει καλη ηχομονωση ποτε δεν ενοχληθηκαμε απο τα αλλα δωματια αν και ηταν γεματο το ξενοδοχειο. Στο πρωινο θα προτιμουσα να εχω μια μικρη επιλογη και θα ηταν καλυτερα αν ειχε ντοπια προιοντα οπως μελι ή μαρμελαδα αλλα καταλαβαινω οτι θα επρεπε να αυξηθει η τιμη.
