Built in accordance to the local architecture, the recently renovated hotel offers 14 self-catered studios with satellite TV sets and large balconies.
Its location, 3 miles from the port and the city of Skiathos, offers access to bars and restaurants. The beach is only 2,000 feet from the hotel.
In close distance from Margi House, on the well known beaches of Agia Paraskevi and Vromolimnos, a water sports center is available.

Review 1：There was a smell of sewage from the kitchen sink. The were marks from dead mosquitos on the walls, they should have been cleaned better.
Review 2：The view was amazing. The pool was very nice. The room was comfortable. The staff was very friendly. We had a memorable vacation.
Review 3：Sometimes too much smell comes from other rooms because someone is cooking. The hotel is little bit distant from the main road. If you do not have a car, you might find it hard to walk.

Review 6：This self-catering hotel was absolute luxury for the price. The room and kitchenette were beautifully done, the pool is lovely and staff were more than friendly.

Review 12：Great views from your own private balcony. The impecable garten of the Villa, the comfortable beds and the, friendly staff, are highly recommended. Very good standard of cleaning. the way up is quite steep but we renred a car for the last few days and it was very convenient. A supermarket is 3 minutes away the bus is 5-7 minutes walk down the hill. Lovely people work here!

Review 14：We have just returned from Margi house, and are already planning our 3rd visit, grounds are fabulous, rooms small but very clean Pepi and her staff go out of their way to make everyone enjoy their stay
Review 15：Everything was fine. The location, on top of the hill, meant that the views were great. The walk up was fine for us, but may not suit less able visitors. However, bearing in mind how hilly Skiathos is, this probably holds true for much of the island...
Review 16：The room was spacious and harmonious. The view across the valley to the green hills and the blue sea was very special, and the owners seem to have thought very carefully to make everyone's stay special. Kolios Bay, just the other side of the road, is tranquil, beautiful and great for swimming. We will be back!
Review 17：I do not have any negative comments about Margi House although the hill to get there is steep so I would not recommend Margi House to those that may have trouble walking up a steep hill.
Review 18：Margi House is set in a wonderful location on the hillside of Kolios with incredible views of the bay. There are 14 rooms, all with sea views, and each one is unique. The views from the balcony and within the grounds are breathtaking. Margi House is in a very tranquil location and I would recommend this those who are looking for a relaxing and peaceful holiday.
Review 19：Margi House is located in a perfect part of the Island - approximately 10 minutes from town on a moped. The views from the bedrooms were fabulous. Located near Vromolimnos beach and Kanapitsa in one direction and Maratha and Koukanaries in the other, this is the ideal location for young people exploring the island.

Review 21：Margi house was definitely the best place we stayed at during our visit to the Sporade islands. The location was quite, unique and offered a wonderful view to the sea. The rooms and the garden were thoughtfully designed and decorated. The rooms were cleaned everyday, the staff even washed our dishes!

Review 35：We love Skiathos and come back every year, our stay at Margi House was a first and fabulous, couldn't be in a better spot for the bus stop. The room decor was of a high standard for Greece. Outstanding views. The dogs were adorable,the owners lovely too. As expected to obtain beautiful views you need your walking legs on but was not a problem for those who are able to climb the short incline to the accommodation.
Review 36：Located off the main road down a bumpy road with other accommodation -this itself is fine and the short walk is enjoyable. Margi house thoughis situated on a very steep hill. It's a short hill but none theless by the end of the holiday was a nightmare to get up. Taxis chargemore to go to the top on the hill and you can see why when they attemptit- even the car struggles. It's not a massive deal and wouldn'tput me off staying there as the views are beautiful. But do not get acoach transfer from the airport as your dropped on the main road andit's a struggle getting cases up the hill especially in the heat!Any other time as long as your fit and healthy (elderly and children notsuitable for) the hill is fine. Room is cleaned every day. Towelsaren't clean every day. Sometimes everyday sometimes two or threedays - never did work out the pattern of clean towels. Found it hard tobook a taxi to the airport as the reception is only open to 12 thenagain at 7. This was our fault as we didn't check - so book the taxiearly on. None of this would stop us staying at margi house again. Somebeaches are more for tourists than others. Felt in the way on one beachas most people new each other and found as the afternoon went on andinto early evening more and more came leaving us feeling we wereintruding. On this particular beach we found the staff, also part of thegroup, very rude. Koukanaries beach is very very busy. Troulos and agiaparaskevi much less packed but still with tavernas, a shop andwatersports.
Review 37：Amazing views, beautiful grounds, quiet, pool, jacuzzi and sunbedsmostly empty. Perfect for self catering. 11-14 euros to and from town intaxi. 1.60 anywhere on bus. Very easy to travel around. Two shops nearby open late. Other accommodation with pool bars v close. Very nicerestaurant open from 1 at end of road. Bus stop near and easy to access.Beach in walking distafe with many other restaurants and tavernas. Thetown is brilliant. Always lively. Lots of bars, cocktail bars, andplaces to eat. People still sitting down to eat at 1am. Always a spacein restaurant to eat. Some fantastic restaurants in the new harbour partwhich are right on the water- didn't think much the time we ate Inthe ones opposite the ferry. Even better restaurants off the front butyou have to look for them - well worth the wander down the Greekstreets. Lynhari a must - off of the main shopping street. Scuna verynice on the water front. Both with excellent customer service and food -sometimes lacking in other places. Definately a good choice for the 8hrboat trip to skopelos and alonnissos for 20 euro per person. Kolios isin a good position as its half way between both sides of the island. Sonever too far to travel. Although its only 25 min from one side to theother anyway!
Review 38：Fantastic owner, Peppi, who was most accommodating in organising an early check in. The pool and grounds are great, and the views spectacular. Also provides a great workout if you want to walk to the nearby beach - it's a steep climb up to Margo House.
