Mountain View Guesthouse sells fast on our site. Quietly situated, Mountain View Guesthouse is an Irish Tourist Board approved family-run 4-star guest house. It features mature gardens, free Wi-Fi and free private parking, and is situated just 1.9 miles from the village of Oughterard, ideally located for exploring Connemara and Galway city.
The rooms offer a flat-screen TV, telephone, and tea and coffee making facilities. The private bathrooms have complimentary toiletries and a hairdryer.

Review 1：A lovely welcome for a lovely B&B. The room was tastefully decorated and comfortable. It was quiet at night and yet not too far from the main road. The breakfast was good.

We found the location to be very good for our goals of visiting both Galway City and Connemara. Patricia was very helpful in planning our route through Connemara, especially if you're low on time like we were. Breakfast was always tasty and a great start to the day! The rooms are beautifully prepared and very clean and comfortable. The wifi was also excellent (a rarity on our travels)! Staying here was the perfect finish to our travels through Ireland.

Review 11：We have just come back from a wonderful holiday in the Connamara National Park in Ireland. From the moment we arrived Patricia was so welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean and bed was very comfy. Breakfast was local produce and fresh. Absolutely amazing hosts, very helpful, treated us like a family, all our extra requests were superbly crafted and fulfilled. Great location, easy access and big parking space, very close to the local golf club and one of the Irish castles.

And not to mention, Patrcia, the owner of the Guest House, such a wonderful host. She welcomed us so warm and höbest, was a great pleasure. The warm Breakfast was delicious and the Breakfast Buffet had everything, from Cereals to Joghurt, Juices, Cheese and Fruits. Highly recommend this place. Review 33：If you have no car the walk to town is very dangerous as there is no footpath. When residents took yoghurts e.c.t from the breakfast table they were not replaced, six residents having breakfasts and only two yoghurts put out. There was no coffee pot on each table, I had to keep going up and down to the breakfast table with my coffee cup for a refill. When the pot was empty it was not refilled.
