Review 1：If you stay for a longer period,it's desirable more dairy products and vegetables for breakfast.

Review 2：Everything. Location is excellent - edge of the village, quiet, relax. But close to the taverns. Clean. Friendly staff. We traveled by car to different south beaches and to the north of Crete. But the beach of Plakias is by walking. Highly recommended.

Review 10：Nice place to stay if you travel on car over south Crete. There are good parking - very close to the rooms. The hotel is a little away from Plakias, but it's about 5 minutes on you feet and 1 minute on car.

Review 20：Not far from the centre of Plakias but in spite of that it's very quiet place. The staff and the owners are friendly and helpful. In our opinion, it's the best and the coziest place for accommodation in Plakias.

The family room that we stayed in had big terace with unbelivable view of the see. The hotel has beautiful garden also with the see view where the breakfast is served. The brekfast was rich with great variety of local products like vegetables, fruits, local white cheese, honey, jams, etc. The owner was very nice as well as the staf. I highly recomed this hotel for realy nice and relaxing vacation.

Review 26：Excellent location a five minute walk from the shops and tavernas, extremely peaceful. Each sparkling clean room with a balcony, view of the sea nearby, surrounding mountains, and a million stars in the night. Clean linens every 2 days. Excellent breakfast buffet at €5 p/p/d on a beautiful flower filled terrace with a view is better than all we tried in the village. Just 3 km to Soudi Beach cove, and the Plakias town beach is closer. We walked, most have cars. the hotel is run by Stravos and his German wife (did not get her name), who are very helpful and friendly. This is a hotel for people looking for a quiet vacation.

Review 58：Friendly owners Stavros and wife, nice location with beautiful views and very quiet even if not far from the village, beautiful flowered garden-setting, spacious room and balcony, adequate and clean bathroom, good beds, nice breakfast-terrace, easy few minutes walk to nearby Plakias and a host of cosy harbor- and village-restaurants, open-air lounge places and the beach.

Review 59：Random approach to cleaning our room - but this was really not a big problem

Review 61：The kitchen was missing a few items, like a sharp knife, one or two bowls and a water boiler but since we were eating out most of the time it wasn't a big problem. Perhaps there could be some more variation at the breakfast buffet (more local cheese and ham, different breads?) even though it was pretty good.

Review 62：We liked very much the location facing the sea and the calm. The apartment was good and big enough for our family of four and we could enjoy the sunset at our terrass. The breakfast was fine and we enjoyed very much having it in the sunshine at the terrass. I appreciated the greek yoghurt, the feta and the fresh fruits.

Review 63：The thing about wi-fi in every room is plain false advertising. Me anda number of acquaintances rented rooms in this hotel two times already,and found that wi-fi works barely in any room. Never worked in mine. Itworks on some balconies -- but again, in my room it didn't workeven on the balcony. So when I needed to do some work or call family onSkype, I had to run all over the hotel trying to pick up theconnection. When I complained to the owner, he was passive-aggressivebordering on rude about it, blaming local phone companies and such.Somehow those local phone companies turned out to be quite fine when Ichanged the hotel.Secondly, if you book a room for one person with a sea view, it doesn't actually guarantee you that you'll be put into one. This time I first was put into a condominimum where I had to share a kitchen (never asked for one!) and bathroom with another person and that didn't have any view at all, then was moved into a room with the entrance on the common balcony, which basically means that whoever else stays on the ground floor can walk through your balcony. Again the management was very grumpy about it refering to overbooking and season.

Review 64：This wasn't my first stay in the Horizon beach. What spoke for it isthe location, which can be a good or a bad thing, depending. It's onthe edge of the town, which makes it quieter than the rest of the townhotels, and more secluded. If you want such things, it's a plus. Ifnot, is a minus.
