Review 1：There is no common room- I think that this is important for a hostel. It seems a bit more like a hotel than a hostel. Breakfast could be better.

Review 6：The location is one block south of the bus stop, one block in from the sea, facing the main square by the fountain. Besides the location,the propriator, Miljenko,is the best travel guide/mentor you could hope to find, gladly dispensing free advice about all things Croatia. Remodeled four years ago,the place is wonderfully maintained and super clean.

Review 7：I did not like th early start I had to take for the only train one a day, from Rijeka to Split. 5.30 am departure from Station. Do it ,the line is exciting and it's actually cheaper and quicker than the buses

Review 9：Just be a little bit careful about paying for the place. We stayed for New Years eve\day and the staff had already taken payment out off my credit card. We did not know this at the time and so we paid for the room a second time. When we figured this out, the staff were super helpful and were really quick to refund us our money. They gave us a choice of a refund in Euros or Kuna. We took the Euros.

Review 10：The hostel was really clean and located at the edge of the city centre. The staff were quite helpful and the rooms were clean and tidy. The place also has a good number of toilets and showers that the staff clean pretty much after each use.

Review 13：Hostel is at third floor, with no elevator – only old, slippery stairs which were cracked at two spots. This is no for big luggage. Street view window is only for people that are used to constant traffic.

Review 14：Hostel is in the very centre of Rijeka. Nicely equipped, decorated with taste. Quiet, efficient personnel are available 24 h. Clean and cozy. They offered to help us plan our tour around Rijeka.

Review 17：Given the lack of decent hotels in Rijeka, this place is brilliant. Made up of a few private rooms - it had a family-run hotel feel. Very central location, a few minutes from the bus station and the port, and lots of restaurants and cafes. The owners were really lovely - gave me lots of recommendations, and even took the time to help me look up timetable and costs of every bus journey I had to make after Rijeka! Very grateful to them. The room and bathrooms were immaculately clean and modern. Wifi in the rooms and free coffee and croissants in the morning. Less costly than the hotels in the city and I imagine a much better experience - definitely recommend!

Review 20：I had to wait 3 hours after check in to get into my room, after one night I got bed bug bites all over my leg, they tried to tell me it was just a cluster of 10 mesquite bites. I called booking, apparently there have been many other reviews/cases of mesquite bites. - horrible customer service, employees were drunk all night, wifi was horrible, they would not give me my money back after I showed them all the bites. worst experience in a hostel ever.

Review 21：-the third floor without an elevator (it`s hard to lift the heavy luggage,if you`re travelling without boys) - there is no kitchen (could be not "-",it`d be nice to have the microwave),but anyway employees will make the hot water for you,when you ask, and buns at the breakfast :) - some showers are very tiny,if you`re are not slim :) but you could choose the bigger one (it was not a problem)

Review 24：Although we would have preferred an ensuite, the bathrooms were cleaner than some of the ensuite rooms we had on our trip, as said before they are cleaned after every use which I think is great! Comfy beds with well air conditioned room. Very central locations to shops, restaurants, buses, the port etc. Had coffee/ water available during the day and pastries available in the morning Best of all, the owners were SO helpful, recommending us places to eat and visit, looked up bus times, found us a pharmacy that was open all night and were just so friendly. This place could definitely be charging more, well worth the money!

Review 32：Really small showers Most windows look at the square with two huge and quite noisy fountains on it, operating 0-24. But there is air conditioner in the rooms, so you can shut the windows, if you want (and AC doesn't bother you).

Very very central location, close to everything. Beach is about 20 mins away by bus and very easy to get to (ask owners and they will help)

Review 38：The hostel was very clean. There was free coffee and croissants everymorning as well. The location is not far from the main bus station anddowntown Rijeka. The guy who checks people in is extremely helpful. Wetold him about a concert in Italy that we wanted to go to but had noidea on how to get there. He called the oryx, a car rental place, andgot everything set up for us in the morning. We couldn't have beenhappier. He also told as a few places in Rijeka to eat at and we areglad we took his advice. He made our first time in Rijeka veryenjoyable.

Review 39：Hard to find if in a car, the entrance to the building is scary, dark and smelly however don't let this deceive you, the hostel is up 3 floors (no lift!!) and when you get to the hostel it is very nice

Anything people make slightly dirty, gets cleaned up right away without even a slight frown. The place is kept spotless. - WiFi: Very fast and stable, I checked several spots in the hostel. Handles the load associated with a house full of people without any problems. - Supplies: The complimentary croissants and coffee/tea. - Location: It doesn't get more central than this in Rijeka. - Staff: The owner speaks excellent English and used to own a travelling agency! He is more than happy (and capable of) telling you everything you might wanna know about Croatia. In our case, he gave us invaluable information on most of the remainder of our stay in the country. Review 43：Our double bed was two singles pushed together... not unusual for Croatia but not a double bed. It would have been nice to have an attached bathroom but the bathrooms were clean and were always available.

Review 91：As such there are no negatives I can think of. But the place is located in the third floor of an old building and there is no elevator. We went up the stairs only about 1 - 2 times a day so it did not matter to us.

Review 92：This is a very stylish and an extremely clean place. It is at an excellent location and the owner of the place (Mr. Miljenko Babić) is an extremely kind and a helpful person. He is always there for you. Literally round the clock! He helped us not just with our stay but also in planning our trips by providing us really extensive information. Review 101：Unfortunate experience: The two of us booked a double room for five nites. The first nite we were placed in two single rooms. The management moved us to the correct double room the following day, but upon check-out wanted payment for the single rooms in which we were placed the first nite. We disagreed--felt that we had not requested the single rooms and therefore additional monies were not due.

Review 110：It is a lot of steps up to the hostel, maybe around 80 steps which is a lot with a suitcase. This was not really a problem for me but older folks would struggle

Review 111：Location was great- cafes, shops and harbour were right outside the door. The bus and train station are only a short walk away, 10 mins to bus and 15 to train. Bathrooms were lovely and clean. In fact it seemed that every time I passed the main corridor they were being cleaned! Showers nice and hot and good water pressure. The man at the desk was very kind and he helped me with details of bus and train times.
