Review 1：Staff was really friendly, the banana pancakes were great. It was a short walk to the nearest beach and all the restaurants are also not that far. Gili air is amazing, we went to trawangan to and it was good, but Air was better, very relax, friendly people and nice restaurants and bars with beautiful views. No remarks, just make sure you realise you have to pay for the aircon seperately. For us the fan was fine, but if you are annoyed by noise easily, you might want to make sure you arrange aircon.
Review 2：The swimming pool doesn't have any cover from the sun. The bed sheets had stains in them. The roosters other side of the wall ARE LOUD. They start their territory dispute after the morning prayer call (you can't escape that on the island either) so prepare not to sleep between 04-06 am. Don't forget to bring ear plugs. The place just a little bit too pricy considering what you get in return.
Review 3：The staff was exceptionally helpful. I was sick for a while and one of the staff went to a restaurant to pick up some take away food for us (the place doesn't have restaurant, only breakfast service).
Review 4：Not easy to find out once arrived in Gili air No hot water and we've experienced some issues when we've payed the bill ( credit cards didn't work).

Review 6：We book a fan room but it ended up being an aircon room with the aircon broken and a tiny fan on the corner. Room was so hot we couldn't sleep through the night. Go to the AC room and this is a great place. Not the best location.

Review 8：Breakfast was a little bit pour, the other staff (so not Garlo) was not really pro active, the room was not that clean, and the fan made a loud sound, because of that we did not sleep that well. Airco was in the room, but you had to pay 100k for one night (it should be included for that price). For that price you can have dinner for two persons here in Indonesia!
Review 9：One of the employees, Garlo Sierra, was really nice, he welcomed us and explained everything very well! We had a long and good talk with him. In comparison to the other staff (2), he was very pro active and did a really good job! Furthermore, the swimming pool was great, the garden looked beautiful and the location was good. Free coffee and tea, and free fill of the water bottle!:) I attached a picture of the pool/garden, it looked beautiful!!, I hope uploading worked...
Review 10：I didn't like that the room didn't come with aircon and TV despite the steeper price and the fact that there was an aircon installed. The fan is freakin loud. It was almost impossible to have a hot shower. Because the hotel is in a less crowded area you'd think it'd be really quiet but in reality you are constantly surrounded by construction noises. And the cherry on top is the constant rooster screeching.. Never have my ear plugs been this close to my ear drums.
Review 11：I have to say the staff and the manager were extremely friendly and helpful. Especially when there happens to be a huge spider in your room! And the breakfast pancake is the best I've ever had!

Review 14：Too expensive for what it is. WiFi didn't work. No shampoo. (For49€/night I expect toiletries included) but when I asked they boughtit for me. Can't believe I was the first to ask for shampoo? In theend 3% surcharge for credit card. Apparently we booked a room with afan, there was a-c in the room but they took the remote control and saidit was 100k idr extra for a-C. I didn't get that option onbooking.com without a-c it's very hot in the room.

Review 16：The food value was expensive. You could not eat anything else but pasta or sandwich, the reason was that the village just opened this summer. The manager told us to gave us a pair of bikes to visit the island but we waited for a long time and we had no response. We had to leave and visit the island without bikes. Due to the recent opening of the cottages the manager also told us to invite us to a pair of cups of sparkling wine because of the little lacks when checking out but he finally did not do and he just ignored us. The manager, who was french, lies more than speaks. The situation of the cottage isnt very good as you have to walk for 10 minutes through a sandy road and there is not much light at night The security box was not working

Review 18：Quite expensive for what they offer. The bed sheets were dirty with lots of spots. The water from the shower had no pressure option, while the water from the sink had no cold/hot option. The bathroom has no roof which leaves space for all the insects to get in at night. No mosquito net, but they have air conditioning.

Review 24：Kitchen wasn't as clean as clean as it should have been. Looked as if the sink had just had a quick flick over rather than a proper clean. I had to clean it before i could use it. Bedrooms and bathrooms were clean though. Internet was via a dongle and most of the time unavailable.
Review 25：We rented the two bedroom house. Spacious bedrooms, large bathrooms and nice open plan kitchen / lounge / dining area. Linen was of a good quality. and beds were comfortable. Handy to have a washing machine in the kitchen.

Review 27：Beautiful location lovely rooms. The pool was clean and really relaxing to sit round. It's a 15 min walk from the port and the cockerels can be loud but this wasn't a problem for us. A 5 minute walk to the beach front where you can find lots of restaurants. The manager recommended the Chill Out lounge and we weren't disappointed. The breakfast was really good and they were happy to serve it to your room. Best banana pancake I have eaten in Bali. They have free tea and coffee in the seating area which is a great plus point and they have beer wine soft drinks etc which you can buy.The 3 guys running it were really lovely too.
Review 28：it would be even better if they would offer, even if it's a small range, lunch and diner. Usually you go the beach anyway, so you can have lunch or diner there, but in the cases that you just want to stay home and at the pool, this could be improved.
Review 29：The staf was really helpful and nice, the cottages were spacious, clean and comfortable with really good beds. I liked the pool as well at which you can enjoy their delicious fruit juices. Renting a bike is really easy and cheap as well

I'd say that it's a great place, but we moved after two nights 'cause we found another place that was cheaper and had AC.

Review 32：It's a small island so I'm sure every venue suffers from this no matter where you are but there is a mosque which does a 'call to prayer' at 4:30am over a large tannoy which goes on for 30mins. And then the roosters start about 6am! :)
Review 33：Very satisfied with our stay at 3W, the quality of the room far exceeded my expectations, it was of 4 star hotel standard! And the staff here were very welcoming and friendly.
Review 34：In comparison to other lodgings we've had for the same price, you don't get much for your money. I feel that it is slightly overpriced and the wifi is weak. Don't bother renting bikes on Gili Air, there are minimal rideable roads and it's small enough to walk.

They spend their days with their family on the pillows of the swimming pool. They are really not helpful.- We needed to change room for unjustified reasons --> incompetent staff and manager not involved.- The bikes we could rent we're never in one piece.--> IT WAS OUR WORST EXPERIENCE IN INDONESIA. We did not enjoy our stay in the island because we got lots of troubles with the hotel. Staff and manager awful. DONT GO THERE, they are lots of better hotels for a good price and really higher quality.--> LA PLUS MAUVAISE EXPÉRIENCE EN INDONÉSIE. Nous n'avons pas pu profiter de notre séjour sur l'île tellement nous avons eu de problèmes avec l'hôtel.- Le staff et le manager ne sont ni sympathiques ni même compétents.- Le Petit déjeuner infâme. Pour le prix payé, n'est une honte.- La ventilation ne fonctionne pas correctement.- La laverie de l'hôtel a abimé nos habits que nous avons du jeter et cela sans que le staff et le manager ne trouvent une solution pour les dommages commis (le manager était même indisponible pour aider ses invités car dinner avec ses amis..)- le staff et des personnes extérieures à l'hôtel leurs amis ou famille passent la journée sur les sièges de la piscine- Tous les vélos à louer sont abîmés- Le staff nous a fait changer de chambre sans raison --> réel manque de professionnalisme et de compétence.--> NE SURTOUT PAS ALLER DANS CET HÔTEL. Il y a beaucoup d'autres d'hôtels à un prix intéressant avec une bien meilleure qualité.

Review 38：There was no fridge in the room. Maybe it sounds a bit posh :-) but when it's 32 degrees celsius the whole day, you'd appreciate to be able to keep fresh water in your room. Also there was no air con remote, only a fan and it was a bit warm at night time. Other than that, perfect place!
Review 39：The location of 3W Cottages is fine, a bit far from the beach but you can rent bikes and you will be there in 10 mn! Renting a bike will allow you to go around the island, and find really nice spots for sunsets. The room was really nice with open bathroom.
Review 40：Down two side streets from the beach so take a torch at night and wouldn't recommend to solo female travellers. In heavy rain the side road was flooded so had to walk through several metres of dirty ankle deep water to reach 3W.

Review 65：Lovely accomodation, pool and staff. They were always smiling and willing to help! Breakfast was nice and the air con worked really well. If you're a light sleeper bring some earplugs and you will sleep soundly.

I know it sounds weird, but darker curtains would be great because I found it really hard to sleep because the curtains didn't block much light so the lights from pool and property kept me awake. It also sounds like there's a chicken farm next door, roosters woke us up every morning but I suspect this is the same all over Gili Air!

Bad sleep if you are a light sleeper: noisy at night as it is next to a mosque, with prayers (and nearby roosters) starting at 4am. Location is not central, at 10 mins walking from the main strip of shops & restaurants.
