Reviews for Chalet Marcora

Review 1:Not much - parking is a bit challenging when the hotel is full .

Review 2:Modern friendly well run hotel in a great village and thanks to the resoursful Italians and their snow machines we skied every day

Review 3:Excellent service. Very good food. Comfortable bed. Close to the lift station. Very good value for money.

Review 4:Getting out on the last morning when all the doors were locked

Review 5:location, food, staff

Review 6:Parking with a capacious car tends to become a puzzle

Review 7:The service was very polite and perfect. We appreciated the afternoon tea with candy. The food was good.

Review 8:Perhaps when it is snowy or icy the steep driveway might be difficult, but I was there in Spring so had no trouble.

Review 9:Very helpful staff. Easy walk to the ski lift station. They do offer single rooms which is great for the solo traveller who does not want to pay double. The food was excellent, though more than I could manage to eat!

Review 10:Dear Paolo, we wish to offer a few comment on our stay (February 1st to February 7th, 2014) in your Hotel Le Rocce, Campitello di Fassa. We believe that our review is not only needed but it should be appreciated by you, also. We've been in Italian's Dolomites/Alps many times prior this event and experienced number of the half board accommodations at a similar price category. However, we've been a bid disappointed this time in the stay in your hotel, mainly it is a level of the cuisine and service. Needless to say that the place looks quite dated. Lets go back to the cuisine and service and start with breakfasts, which we found of a limited selection and completely missing warm foods as scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, etc ...and then dinners were generally of a broadly low level (selection, taste, quality and service). Perhaps, in order to slash your operating costs your personal including cooks come from the former Soviet Union but that is well below the European/Italian standard. We noticed, to our huge disbelief, that when an Italian group came they were served a different higher quality dinner and even on the better glass plates. Paolo, we decided to provide you with this feedback as we consider your approach a short sighted. Yours truly, Jan Ent, Peter Bares and George Novotny Jicin, Czech Republic

Review 11:Room was a little on the small side and a bit dark.

Review 12:Excellent hotel close to the centre of the town. Staff very helpful and welcoming. Even got a little parting gift from the manager/owner when we left which was a very nice touch. Food in the hotel was fabulous with a beautiful four course meal each evening. Garage parking for the motorcycles was welcome.

Review 13:Rooms were clean and functional but getting a little dated. Very steepdrive could be challenging but was well cleared. Campitello has only 1lift which can get very busy at peak times with queues longer than 50mins. You need to get up early or late to avoid the crush.

Review 14:Friendly helpful staff, central location close to ski lifts, traditionalItalian feel with excellent half board dinner and reasonably priced winelist. Ski bus stop to neighbouring resorts was very close by.

Review 15:Great staff - friendly and helpful. Very close to ski-field lift. Great food and plenty of it (breakfast and evening meals provided). We had a great time and given the chance we would love to go back and stay at Hotel Le Rocce.

Review 16:Very good value for money. Very good service. Close to liftstation. Busstop 50 meters away.

Review 17:The hotel manager gave us some advice regarding mountain excursions and places to visit. Very friendly and helpful gentleman.

Review 18:choice of menu for supper was limited to two dishes

Review 19:almost everything (the scenery, the location of the hotel)
