Review 1：The staff at Manta Dive were always very helpful and the location of the Resort was great. We also organised our dives through Manta and they were fantastic.
Review 2：Worst experience in Indonesia, rooms were tiny smelly and really noisy at night, we stayed at manta 5 room, all night was a machine working from unknown source I don't know if they were air compressor for the bottles, air con or I don't know, what I can't tell you is was a constant noise, also you can hear the prays of the Muslim at 3 in the morning for half an hour everyday. We wanted in the beginning do some diving course, but we were advise not to do the course there, since the groups are quite big, and the pool is smaller than my bathtub, I will avoid this place. Also the stuff were half drivers half helpers and all tables outside were busy with them all over the place drinking beers and Beeing so loud morning and night,we couldn't have a place to sit besides the restaurant, also no Internet working at the rooms, I communicate this to one of the half diver-recepcionist and he told us to go to restaurant (good solution) Plus we had some sand on hour floor that lasted for a week. I choosed this for the good reviews, probably from people that were only interested in dive or I don't know...
Review 3：The best of this place is the location, in the middle "busy" main street, as well probably the best location for doing snorkel in the whole Gili air, also some nice points to dive around.
Review 4：Although staff were always willing to assist they at times lack initiative and ways to seek to help you. Eg.You have to leave the pool area if you want a drink-it would be lovely if staff dropped by to see if anyone needed anything.
Review 5：Friendly staff who are always willing to assist and help when asked. A good position on the island, and is clean and comfortable and always made up in a timely fashion. Rooms are quiet. Bathrooms are wonderful. Great pool with lovely gardens.
Review 6：A couple recommendations is that a traditional indonesian breakfast be added to the menu for those of us with food allergies...we love a fried rice brekkie. The bungalows were a bit over priced we think, but the bathrooms rock. Last we recommend a ceiling fan with a light, as the bungalow is very dark ( I couldn't see the inside of my luggage) & we would have been happy to use a fan rather than the air con. Over night. The air con. Fan was not adjustable and the air con. Never shut down when it reached the desired temp. Of 24 degrees; considering the resort suggests we save power by turning appliances off when not in use, a fan would reduce electricity consumption heaps.
Review 7：We loved the staff; they were extremely accomodating. The location, accomodation & availability of drinking water for cheap purchase were the perks. The pool is great in teh evening & the environment is extremely relaxed & inviting. The restaurant staff were wonderful & Moona the receptionist is top notch. Thanks!
Review 8：Only complaint was that the juice with free breakfast wasn't freshly squeezed but when you payed for juice it was. Small complaint but still annoying.

Review 16：The beds were so uncomfortable....we were at the hotel for 4 nights and we didn't sleep well once! I couldn't get my body temperature right at all......freezing in the evening as you only get a sheet on the bed and without AC it was boiling hot! The hotel does not have a back up generator, the electricity went twice and the last time for a few hours in the night and it was unbearable. The manager (South african guy) was pretty rude...he openly shouted at staff which was uncomfortable to watch. We were trying to check out on our last day and the electricity went... Instead of helping us as we were going to miss our boat off of the island he ignored the issue and simply said 'there isn't a Rush'...ermmmm there is when you need to catch a flight!
Review 17：The hotel was in a perfect location....a perfect snorkelling spot with amazing sunset views! The rooms were really cute and a good size, furniture was relatively modern and the bathroom (outside) was all in keeping with the Gili Island feel!!! Really tasty breakfast! Local staff were amazing...waiters in restaurant were friendly and always there to help...local front of house staff were friendly too! In particular a lady called Mona and Steph! This is a diving school and we planned a 3 day course but I had a hole in my ear drum....if your not diving it's not really a hotel for you.

Review 38：No blanket, only one sheet to cover yourself. You'll freeze in the morning if AC is switched on. But as you turn it off it becomes stuffy. Opening window is not an option since there are a lot of mosquitos and no repellents. It would be great if the staff could provide a coverlet and not only a sheet.
Review 39：Perfect location on Gili Air just in front of Reef Wall that is in several meters from the coast. Best place for snorkling on Gili's! Very good restaurant, delicious food. Their 'Banofee pie' is perfect.
