Reviews for Albergo Le Terme

Review 1:Every single detail of the hotel is cute and looks great while the furniture of single room I stayed in were not cute and did not look great. Perfectly acceptable of course, but not at the same level as the rest of the hotel which is impeccable

Review 2:The hotel is fantastic. The staff is kind and highly motivated without overdoing.

Review 3:It was difficult to have questions answered and set up treatments or classes prior to our arrival even though they recommended making appointments prior to arriving.

Review 4:The town is lovely. The surroundings beautiful. The staff was helpful once we arrived. The teas. The meteor shower.

Review 5:Nothing to note, it really was a perfect place to stay.

Review 6:Very well located, beautiful building, great spa, staff v friendly courteous and helpful. Would definitely come back again whenever we can!!

Review 7:we liked everything, the excellent food at Their restaurant La Terrazza is fantastic, also their the gourgeous breakfast with many organic bio local products, the thermal pool and the spa, the location and the very friendly, relaxing athmosphere. We will come back, for sure, a.s.a.p. !

Review 8:Nothing.

Review 9:We liked everything. Well taken care of by staff. Spa area as described on website. Restaurant very good/breakfast excellent. Problem with door developed during our stay and they upgraded us to a better room. Wonderful location. Private parking a plus. Can't wait to return!

Review 10:The hotel could do better with the wifi. Otherwise it was a very pleasant experience.

Review 11:We had a very pleasant experience at this wonderful place. It's close to a number of old and spectacular Italian towns; the place has a special long history. It is located in a picturesque valley. Very comfortable inside, despite quite small rooms.

Review 12:Reception staff could have offered more information in the way of the towns surrounding and tours available, recommendations are always nice. Sun lounges need updating- shared cloth is sagging so you can feel the bar in your back web you lie down and bolts for sun shade part needs tightening so the shade doesn't drop onto your face.

Review 13:Thermal spa was amazing, staff were nice, male waiter (forget his name) was particularly warm and helpful, amenities in general were excellent. We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay at Albergo Le Terme

Review 14:However, also the double rooms featured 40 year old bathrooms, saggy mattresses and bedside lamps with broken lamp stands (possibly as old as the bathrooms, if not, at least 25 years old I would guess). Erratically arranged breakfast buffet: the butter sits with the muesli (bread, which would be far more logical, is far away), fresh fruit which would kind of go well with the muesli, sits with the ham .... All of the above -- no problem if the price isn't eur 115 per single room per night but half of this ...

Review 15:We were originally put in positively miniature rooms, when we went back to reception and asked if they were being serious that these are the eur 115 single rooms we were given double rooms for single use instead.

Review 16:We were badly bitten by mosquitoes in the room, over night, despite having the windows closed and air-con running.

Review 17:The spa and hotel were very well run, breakfasts good and the village charming.

Review 18:This hotel is set overlooking the square, with its own thermal spa facilities. It was perfect for a couple of days of peaceful relaxation. The breakfast buffet was lovely (and would recommend taking a table outside if the weather allows). The thermal pools and spa area was also fantastic

Review 19:The hotel is situated in a hamlet which, on the map, looks quite near Siena. In reality the roads are rural and it seems to take a long time to get to your destination - however this could be an advantage as it means the hotel is really quiet and out of the way. We got the impression that it was possible to bathe in the thermal pool in front of the hotel but this is not the case - no problem as the spa in the hotel is very pleasant. We had read about visitors being disturbed by local youngsters playing (illegally) in the pool at night but we didn't find this a problem.

Review 20:Rooms are quite simple: the place has recently been re-decorated in an imaginative retro style with interesting stencilled designs on the walls. It rained when we were staying but we felt wonderfully cosy and were able to use (included in price) the spa facilities. We found these clean and well-organised and we paid extra for a massage which we thought was very professional. The village is charming and well conserved and the early-morning vapours off the pool are wonderful to see. Ate in the restaurant in the evening - it was not particularly economical but good value for money although there are also plenty of other eating places in the hamlet or further afield if you have a car. Breakfasts were very satisfying too. There are some interesting walking tracks in the area including parts of the Via Francigena though we didn't have time to explore these. Bikes can be borrowed from near the hotel. There is a small daily tourist tax and we had the impression funds from this source are being spent well to improve the area for the tourist as well as the locals. We thouroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back for more delicious food and wine, walks, dips in the thermal pools and massages!

Review 21:Americans should know the spa doesn't have the same level of modesty as American spas. It wasn't a problem but something to know if you are scheduling a massage and are squeamish about exposure, as their draping is minimal when you are on the table.

Review 22:Perfectly beautiful. Stunning location. Fragrance of jasmine blossoms in the air. Relaxing spa. Good food.

Review 23:Beaty of the village built around the ancient spa. Spa facilities which were included in room price.

Review 39:1. terme in the hotel was rather small and crowded

Review 40:1. requested for a room with a view of terme and hotel has arranged for us 2. breakfast was good 3. location was excellent

Review 41:Off the transport route if you don't have a car

Review 42:A great relaxing break in the middle of our trip. Travel is exhausting and the spa treatments and atmosphere were ideal. Also a beautiful historic site rather than modern. Lots to see in the surrounding area...if you have a car.

Review 43:Very ugly furniture in the room (a superior), that took up too muchspace. Food in the restaurant a bit disappointing, but the setting ofthe terrace was lovely.

Review 44:Very friendly and helpful front office staff, especially Serena. Goodbreakfast, unfortunately not served outside (that being said I wasallowed to take my breakfast outside). Small but nice bathroom.

Review 45:The spa section is perfect !
