Reviews for Beechpark House

Review 1:The owner was gracious, thoughtful, and witty. The House is Magnificent - first class in every way, from the grand piano, to the curved staircase, to the master bedroom estate. Breakfast was a Downton Abby experience with a candelabra-graced 5 meter table, complete with as-you-ordered Chef prepared meal and Chef inspired conversation - that was intellectual, touching, and over-the-top funny (great Irish stories and humor). Look for all of the extras to make sure you are comfortable, from the in-room coffee and tea's, to the extension cords with multiple adapters, to owner offers to pick you up or drop you off. It just was magical - Best stay in all of Ireland!

Review 2:Easy to miss the entrance to the property.

Review 3:Kevin and (Nigel) were outstanding hosts. The room was super spacious, quiet and comfortable. Kevin makes a great cup of Irish tea, and treated us if we were good friends.

Review 4:I have stayed in over 100 hotels and B&B's in Ireland. Beechpark House is the finest of them all. The accomdation is spectacular! Kevin welcomed us with open arms and entertained us with his keen Irish wit.

Review 5:The house is modern, upscale, has many amenities and is elegant; and it was immaculately clean. Kevin is a perfect host; he made my wife and I feel completely at home. My only regret is that we didn't have more time to visit with him. Our stay at Beechpark House was definitely a highlight of our trip to Ireland.

Review 6:The only complaint we had is that we could only get away for 1 night!

Review 7:The house is magnificent, the room was fabulous, the shower was a treat, but by far the best thing about the place is the owner, Kevin! A gentleman, charmer and entertainer!

Review 8:This is the best stay I can remember in 20+ years of travelling. The hospitality was second to none and Kevin is great fun and brilliant company. He took me to his local pub where we sang songs and I met his friends...he is truly a fantastic host and guide. I cannot wait to return. Thanks a million, Gary.

Review 9:The location is great to explore central Ireland and the west coast including the Moher Cliffs. The appartment was very large and comfortable. The best bed in our long travel. The owner was extremely kind, and helpful. We spent a very pleasant week there.

Review 10:Kevin was a delightful host, his home is welcoming, beautiful and comfortable. He treated us like family from the 1st handshake to the last hug! The beds and bathrooms are spacious and elegant and the breakfast delicious! Perfect location for a start or finish at Shannon airport. We wish we could have stayed longer, Kevin is now a friend and we hope to return! You will not regret a stay at Beechpark House!

Review 11:It felt like, you were staying with a friend you have not met since college, not a B&B. Kevin welcomed us into his home. He was very obliging and had a story ever time we met him. He was great Craic and had a lovely house. I would stay again

Review 12:The fact that we couldn't give this property a high rating than 10!!!!!!!

Review 13:The accommodation was first class as was the owner who went out of his way to make our stay very comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble and attention to detail was second to none. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in recommending it to family and friends and would definitely book again should our travels take us to Western Ireland again.

Review 14:Lovely house fantastic room was a lovely experience in rurAl setting very relaxing place to stay before flying out to majorca Kevin is a wonderful host and the breakfast was exCellant will stay again tony and mary ennis

Review 15:Inappropriate language of the host. Crumbs on breakfast table. No menu for breakfast, therefore being told what the host would cook for us. Clothes still in wardrobe. No curtain at bathroom window.

Review 16:Location

Review 17:The house is fabulous, very spacious and well decorated. Rooms are huge and Kevin is a great host. The back yard is a real sun trap, it was lovely to sit in the evening there with a cup of tea. very convenient to Bunratty, Shannon and the motorway between Limerick & Galway.

Review 18:Not a negative towards the property but our only regret was not having the time to try out the deluxe hot tub! Such a shame but it was our own fault for arriving too late and we had to rush off in the morning! Next time!

Review 19:A slice of luxury in the countryside! Peaceful night's sleep in a very comfortable, spacious room with no draughts! Lovely view out the window to green fields and mountains. Powerful shower with lovely white towels and generous toiletries. Everything was immaculate and nice touches e.g. wine glasses with wine opener left in the bedroom, candles for the hot tub. Kevin was most helpful, chatty and friendly and takes great pride in his home and ensuring guests are ok! Would definitely stay here again. 5 Star Luxury for minimal cost!

Review 20:Kevin was an excellent host. He picked us up from the airport and took us straight to the pub for a Guinness. He really looked after us. Thanks Kevin!

Review 21:Like most reviews to date, Beechpark House was my last night in Ireland. My suggestion? Don't save the best for last! Because Kevin and Beechpark so beautifully personify American expectations of Ireland, why not use Beechpark to bookend your Irish experience? The site photos truly represent Beechpark beauty and hospitality. What must be experienced to appreciate is host Kevin's warm and welcoming personality, humorous Irish stories/jokes, and generous heart. He goes above and beyond to ensure you feel you've been a guest in his home and are leaving behind a friend in Ireland.

Review 22:Rain, wish we could have stayed longer

Review 23:Kevin our host was extremely welcoming and great fun, His home is beautiful while still being comfortable, my son and I really enjoyed his pool table! Way better than any hotel

Review 24:Superb. We had five star accommodation and a welcome from Kevin second to none. We could not recommend Beechpark more highly. A unique experience that could not be bettered.

Review 25:Kevin our host was more than welcoming and accommodating to whatever needs we might have had. When we walked into his home, we were overwhelmed with how beautiful it was. Our room even included a shower that had changing lights and music! He made us truly feel like his home was our home, and we had a great experience.

Review 26:Not a negative, more a recommendation, if you want drinks at Bunratty castle/Durty Nellys...you might need taxi back, but 10 eur only..just prebook as we were waiting about 15-20 mins (although you can pop into Durty Nellies for one while you're waiting if you're not too full!)

Review 27:Kevin-the host extroardinaire!... Jokes at breakfast, chit chats, genuine laughs and hospitality..possibly the most comfortable bed I've ever stayed in..I don't like hotels..this place and Kevin have a personality and in true Irish style..waved us goodbye at the door like an Irish Mammy!...went to the Bunratty banquet at 8.45pm...he was kind enough to drop us down 5 mins away to castle (after we had a good laugh when he had to jump start the car) You don't get entertainment, a beautiful bed staircase, and crockery like this in a hotel for anywhere near this price! Look forward to going back

Review 30:Kevin was a wonderful host who even offered to drive us to a local restaurant to get something to eat. The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful. We will stay here before our departure from Shannon every time we are in Ireland. Wonderful place!

Review 31:That we couldn't stay forever!

Review 32:To say this was the best B&B of our stay, is an understatement. First of all, our host Kevin was, by far, the best host of our 3 - week stay. My daughter and I were so delighted to have had this wonderful experience on our final day/night in Ireland. Kevin was incredibly charming, friendly and helpful. He is a very interesting man with lots of stories to tell. He went far beyond what we expected from a host and made us feel like royalty! He made it even harder to say goodbye to beautiful Ireland as we experienced the Irish hospitality at it's highest degree. Secondly, Kevin ' s home is stunningly beautiful. Our room was spacious and luxurious. Very well appointed, with toiletries, water and fresh strawberries. The bed was very comfortable. The toilet room was elegant and clean. The shower was high tech and a real treat in itself. The jacuzzi was a nice treat after 3 weeks of traveling. Kevin made us a delicious breakfast served on beautiful china in the elegant dining room. If I could do it all over again, I would've stayed here as long as possible. Kevin, thank you for making our last day/night a memorable one! We miss you and Ireland already! Kailin and Kasslyn

Review 33:Kevin was the perfect host and could not have made us feel more welcome. Everything exceeded our expectations and we are only sorry we could not have stayed longer. A truly wonderful start to our trip to Ireland!
