Review 1：The gym was too small and some of the equipments were broken! The internet connection was heru bad. I would have expected that in this kind of hotel the internet connection would work perfectly.

Review 3：The location , while convenient the beach in front of the hotel is almost unusable. Plenty of rocks , very slippery, only a small corridor to get to the sea ... They should spend the effort to remove the rocks and improve access to the sea

Review 5：First evening go to Asian Diner which tasted like factory food and cost a lot more for it's value. For example, a diner at restaurants in the city cost half the price and a lot more tastefully.

Review 6：The design of this hotel is simple but with style that is different to it's location. Feel nice to return each night to a place that is not so authentic like rest of the island.

Review 7：The internet disconnect every couple of minutes. Very annoying , you need to put user and pass every time! TV in the room build in the mirror. Can't see through the day, only in night. Very simple rooms, although it's 5 stars hotel. Got twin bed although we order as a couple. The attitude of the hotel service is under 5 stars.

Review 14：The location is excellent, only 5 minutes walk from the center (Pier/Port) with all the restaurants and shops. The pool is big and so beautiful, looks like it is merging with the sea. Rooms are big clean and comfortable and free Wi-Fi is available on most of the property (sometime it is slow though). The staff is extremely friendly!

Review 18：we got room with twin beds while we ordered double bed. we ordered sea view room, we got the room on the side of the hotel we view to the houses next to the hotel. Towel guy located in the spa area which is in the basement of the hotel, each time you want to go to the pool you have to go all the way the spa to get the towel, and also on the way back, have to go to return and get the slip back. Towel guy gave me short towel, when i got to the pool i realized i got the small ones, so i got back to him and he said "i'm sorry, you can changed towel once a day", i said i didn't no there is small one, and big one. he said he sorry..no can do.

Review 20：The little extra payments are not gonna bankrupt you but leave a slightly sour taste after paying well for 5 stars hotel. These include drinking water!! room wifi. The expensive spa services still don't entitle you to use the Jacuzzi tab right after treatment.

Review 58：This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. As 95% of clients come via touroperators, reception staff is not used to work with private clients (which we were). They wanted us to pay the whole stay in advance. It was only after a huge discussion that I got them to preauthorize my cc and pay at the end of our stay. Not really a warm welcome. Food & beverage is not 5-star, same food every day and e.g. very limited choice of fresh fruit at breakfast. Restaurant staff is friendly but overworked and mostly from Eastern Europe. Music at the central bar is on from 9.00 in the morning and very disturbing.

Review 64：I was extremely impressed with the hotel where we stayed last week.Clean, friendly comfortable and stylish it was just what I wanted torelax and feel rather pampered. The pool was superb with a marvelousview out to the sea, rather exotic in feel. We really enjoyed the foodtoo - very varied and delicious.The location of the hotel is very good, it is a short walk to the town where you can get more of the Greek flavour with some nice tavernas. Last but not least, a big thank you to the girls in the spa - they do an excellent pedicure!

Review 65：The beach directly in front of the hotel had large rocks right at the shore which made it difficult to get in and out of the water, however just a few meters away it was all sand.

The rooms are very nice, clean and with looks reallyup to date. The hotel was built in 2010, so everything is new and nosigns of fatigue. Choose the superior view room if you are here, thenyou will get a room in the front of the hotel, and be able to seePigadia to the right, and the bay an ocean right ahead. The staff speakboth english and italian, and are very service-minded. We arrived 7:30in the morning, with a booking that was scheduled to start at 14:00, butwhen we arrived I did not have to say my name before they told me ourroom was ready. The even offered us an extra breakfast in the morning.Fantastic hotel on a fantastic island. I would recommend Alimounda Mare to everybody, when you get really good value for money on this 5-star hotel in one of the most beautiful places in Greece.

Review 69：I am Russian, it seems people from my country do not often come to Karpathos. I stayed there with my 28-year-old daughter, we both like everything. Location, comfort in the room, at the beach, on the territory-everything is excellent. People are so kind and helpful! We were fond of waiters at the restaurant-they are very patient, always smiling, with good manners and superb sense of humour. The meal was very good. We were lucky to choose the island and the hotel. Hope to come back in the future. Many thanks for nice staying!
