Reviews for Hotel Lärchenhof & Spa

Review 1:Bedrooms very warm and heating could not be adjusted.

Review 2:Friendly staff, excellent accommodation, good food. Cosy, warm ambiance not large and impersonal.

Review 3:Wonderful Hotal with SpA. Staff was great and helpful. The pool is cute and the whole atmosphere allthrought the stucture is relaxed and pumpering. Great breakfast with garden-view.

Review 4:The landscape is amazing!!the breakfast, the rooms, everything was wonderful! I let there a piece of my soul,i will come back !?Whole is like a story there... The fireplace is perfect in this place, the staff is more than welcoming,a very warm place!

Review 5:Drinks prices are expensive compared to other establishments

Review 6:We love Austria and have visited many resorts over the last 3 decades in both summer & winter. This stay was in Sept 2015 and not our first in Seefeld but first in this hotel. Good double room with plenty of space. Storage / drawers were a little limited. Safe is tiny - dont expect to be able to put a 7" tablet in there - just space for cash, mobile and a sat nav. Bedside lamps dominate the bedside top each side - 5 bulbs per lamp arent really reqd which is probably why previous guests had unscrewed 4 of the bulbs. That said, its a 10 min walk from the centre with 3 different routes and a pleasant wander. If in ski season, the nursery slope is a 3 min walk away. Reception, restaurant & cleaning staff all friendly. We stayed half board. Evening meal was fine yet not spectacular and a times a little bland. Sometimes the choice was limited, particularly on the gala evening. However the staff are willing to offer alternatives. Wine and beer is considerably pricy compared with local restaurants, bars and cafes. Typical price in Euros per 1/4l of wine, 8.20 in bar, 5.00 in hotel mini bar, 4.50 ish elsewhere.Breakfast offered a good choice to suit most peoples needs.Bus stop 50m up hill from hotel offers free local transfers. We didnt use this so cant comment on the extent & reliability but looks a good option for those who are a little less mobile than ourselves. Ask the hotel for a local pass which offers discounts on busses etc. If this appeals to you, a one-off fee (€12) offers free transfers to/from further villages as I understand.Staff are well conversant in english so language isnt a problem for english-only people.WiFi is well addressed. They share the same WiFi with many hotels and other establishments in the area. Consequently there is good interconnection all around. What a fantastic idea! The price is included in the stay.

Review 7:we both felt the design of the hotel is dated. also the food wasn't the best.

Review 8:seefeld in general is a very good location with lots of stuff to do around, the hotel is clean and the staff were nice

Review 9:the noise between the balcony rooms, even u can't sleep while the window open room service was bad Wifi is poor in the room u need to stay by the room doors in order to get a good signal restaurant is really poor u they have only one main course

Review 10:Room size

Review 11:Balcony was shared with other rooms without any sort of separation wall, so basically our neighbors were sitting in front of our window ... other than that everything was perfect!

Review 12:Room was clean and nice size, SPA area was nice. Food was great, breakfast had a great selection and dinner was excellent. Good Location, easy to walk into the town. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Review 13:Unhelpful staff, no knowledge about the area, never asking to help Horrible wellness area, broken showers, old steam room, no drinking water, no staff present I am regularly in this area for skiing, and I must say this is the worst hotel I have seen ever in this area. Consider all other options before staying there

Review 14:The new rooms were actually ok. Food was ok.

Review 15:Welcome ruls. When you arive in Hotel, first you have to drink "Welcome drink", then visit Hotel, and then go to room.

Review 16:Bus connection Vilage - Hotel..

Review 17:Only excellence here.

Review 18:Food is amazing. Location can't be beat. People are the best. Massage best I've had. Everyone made this one of my top holidays.

Review 19:We definitely missed the famous Austrian hospitality! Room reeked of smoke even though we had booked a non-smoking room. Balcony littered with cigarette stubs. Toilet+ bedroom definitely not clean! € 20 per day for a dog asks for some kind of service... or gourmet meal. All in all - disappointing value for money!

Review 20:Excellent cuisine, friendly service staff.

Review 21:If sauna open till late, would be better.

Review 22:staff are friendly and helpful. nice pool, comfortable water bed, good sauna. variety breakfast. Nice reception

Review 23:Waiters are rather snobby unless you are a regular guest. Most of the visitors are 70+ years old. In spite of having asked for a quiet room months in advance, our room was virtually ON the parking lot next to the hotel entrance, making a restful stay impossible.

Review 24:Breakfast buffet and dinner menu offered excellent choices.

Review 25:There are two main reasons why I won't be returning to the Lärchenhof. First, it is part of a chain of other hotels and businesses, which isn't apparent from its website. The problem is the endless cross-selling and self-promotion, leading to the feeling that their only incentive is profit and thereby debasing the apparent sincerity of their customer service. Second: Seefeld itself. It is dull and characterless and - again - is suffused with the suspicion that it is at heart a money-making venture. There are far more attractive Alpine towns and villages.

Review 26:The hotel is basically OK - clean & well-organised etc, with a good pool and a reasonable "wellness" area (which, however, wasn't fully functioning for most of the week that I was there).

Review 27:Leaving !

Review 28:Staff were pleasant and helpful. Food was of an exceptional standard. Room adequate and functional, cleanliness spot on. Location was ideal, but a car is required to see everything that the Tirol and surrounding areas have to offer.

Review 29:Pictures & details of rooms shown are not fair representation of actual - actual rooms are smaller. Despite booking in advance, we didnt get rooms on the same floor - we booked 3 rooms. The suite was OK. One of the Delux Rooms opened into a narrow balcony.

Review 30:Staff at the Restaurant - Stephan Zander is a travellers' delight taking care and note of each of our needs. His attention to detail was amazing. The Half-Board menu was outstanding- Restaurant Manager Mr Paul Trouwen really knows how to pamper his guests. We got help with luggage as well, travelling with 3 people above 65 and one kid :) which was welcome. The Spa was excellent.

Review 31:Everything was good

Review 32:The staff were very nice, the old decoration, the restaurant and the location.

Review 33:Great hotel, the room was large and cosy. great atmosphere

Review 34:To leave

Review 38:Everything

Review 39:french bed and lack of balcony

Review 40:reception staff free car park

Review 41:Owner was horrible and rude, all of spar facilities were closed

Review 42:Nice room

Review 43:wifi signal is poor

Review 44:everything was perfect

Review 45:Room design, size vs what pictures said

Review 46:Food.Wine.Service.

Review 47:leckeres Essen

Review 48:Where the bed was located in the room.

Review 49:Perfect location, the staff were very helpful and the food was divine! Excellent onsite facilities.

Review 50:friendly staff, nice spa and sauna facilities, good breakfast

Review 51:A bit noisy- bad isolation, hotel should offer earplug - i always travel with a pair :)

Review 52:Service and breakfast , also interiror of room and stuff is super nice..

Review 53:The atmosphere was all style and pretentiousness and sadly lacking in warm, sincere hospitality. The absolute refusal to provide anything other than expensive bottled water in the restaurant, the so called cake buffet which required the purchase of expensive drinks and other such small irritants indicate a management attitude of seeing everyone as simply a business opportunity not guests. It felt less hospitable than the business hotels I stay in every week.

Review 54:Comfortable clean room

Review 55:Very professional of the management in the hotel. Feel like more than a 4 star. Every design in the hotel and in our room was fabulous. Breakfast was gorgeous, indoor pool was relaxing. Seefeld definitely worth seeing for longer time. we enjoyed the morning sun rise over the town, a nice morning walk is must. We hope we will return.

Review 56:There is nothing to dislike.

Review 57:This is one of the best hotels. The staff are so well trained, remember your name, room number and generally look after guests exceptionally well. The hotel is clean, well run and so friendly. I can't praise it highly enough.

Review 58:The fact that dogs are allowed to stay with their owners in rooms.

Review 59:Incredibly friendly, helpful and professional staff. Comfortable ,beautifully furnished traditional lounge and reception area. Wide choiceof menu all freshly served by attentive waiting staff. This was oursecond visit and we will return.

Review 60:We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Larchenhof! Everything about our stay was wonderful, we especially enjoyed the personal touch at check-in! We are already looking forward to our next stay at the hotel!

Review 61:noisy fan was running all night wireless didn't work, and nobody from the staff could help; else a few smaller things (breakfast menu somewhat poor, no newspaper; telephone connection pretty inconvenient; pool/sauna area closes early...)

Review 62:generally fairly relaxing, especially pool/sauna

Review 63:The welcome was warm and the staff and service excellent. The food at all times was top notch. Situation was a bit of an uphill walk but the views and tranquility made it worthwhile. All in all - fantastic!

Review 64:Lovely, spacious and tastefully decored room (Deluxe), excellent food & wine served for dinner, friendly & helpful staff, small but cosy wellness area, ski shuttle bus. All in all we had a great weekend!

Review 65:We stayed at the Hotel Larchenhof with our two young children, ages 4and 6. The staff was amazing with them - they made sure our table (youalways eat at the same one) had two bench seats that the children couldlie down on during the long evening dinners, and that we were near largewindows so the kids could watch the snow falling. In addition, they hada lovely children's menu and accommodated all of our special requests. This made the fantastic "adults" food even more enjoyable, because weweren't worrying about how we would get our kids to eat the amazing, butunusual (for 4 year olds, anyhow) food. Our kids loved the play room, and "played" billiards a number of times. The hotel staff knew them (and us) by name by our second day. We will definitely be going back!

Review 66:very comfortable hotel. staff in the restaurant - highest professionalism

Review 67:excellent service from every member of staff. They ensured we had a comfortable and relaxing stay. Nothing was too much trouble.

Review 68:nothing at all

Review 69:I liked everything, and the maneger is very kind and amazing

Review 70:we liked everything, specialy the food was really great

Review 71:Food and atmosphere
