Reviews for B&B Il Loggiato
Review 1:1) All the rooms were transparent for noise, you could hear people talking in their rooms. 2) No shelves, nor big cupboards for storing clothes. The handcrafted coat hooks in the toilet and behind the doors were very unstable and not practical.
Review 2:Open fire in the living room, tea and fresh cakes in the evenings, the bed was very comfortable (good mattresses), abundant breakfast, cosy setting, quiet village (early January), friendly and helpful staff.
Review 3:Can't think of anything.
Review 4:The location is perfect. Easy access to a lot of sights in Tuscany. Very cute little sight for walking around. We ate at the restaurant below and liked it so much we went back.
Review 5:Owner never showed but it worked ok w Michael at reception. Check before if the only top rated restaurant is open. It was closed. Remember again this is Italy so expect the lifeguard to be smoking. Haha.
Review 6:I'd return. Maybe because it was an experience with the public pool and the best massage I've ever had TWICE with Luca at the fancy hotel Terme. Glad I didn't stay there. Michael at this hotel speaks fluent English and had much to share. His wife is a spiritual healer if interested. The room was large, bed perfect, extraordinary breakfast w giant cappuccino - and a place to relax for a day. Bring a bathing cap for the pool.
Review 7:Having to leave:-(
Review 8:Everything about Il Loggiato was perfect, the room was comfortable with personal touches, a nice clean bathroom, I loved the shared sitting area, and the homemade cakes available throughout the day. Breakfast was delicious and the candles on each table and classical music was an extra special touch. The staff went above and beyond to help us out during our stay providing restaurant and other area recommendations. Don't forget to check out the small store below selling area wines, cheeses and charcuterie. We just loved everything about our stay. Can't wait to go back.
Review 9:It was great experience. The hotel is very old but very clean and comfortable. Hotel staff are very friendly and kind. Especially taste of breakfast is unforgettable.
Review 10:Facilities, including bathroom, not very comfortable. Good enough for two nights. Younger travellers would probably be perfectly content though.
Review 11:Friendly staff, free cake and tea, large room, interesting and unusual location.
Review 12:Boutique style Friendliness Romance bedroom Quiet
Review 13:Ambience of the region and town.
Review 14:Rooms heating is inadequate.
Review 15:We liked the location, it's an old building with its own charm. The breakfast room and breakfast were very pleasant.
Review 16:The atmosphere was just great. Breakfast was great. Everything was just great!
Review 17:It is a cute and warm hotel, great staffs. The house is stylish and wonderful for couples. The breakfast is really good.
Review 18:It was all good.
Review 19:It was right in the Centre of a delightful village with the bonus of the very relaxing thermal streams.
Review 20:Charming and indvidual
Review 21:No parking belonging to the structure. (but there is nearby public parking available).
Review 22:Room Location (literally 1 minute walk to the Roman bath) Look and Feel Breakfast Friendly staff
Review 23:Great location, you can visit thermal baths nearby (open-air!), nice historic room with wooden roof and a nice view. Fantastic nature around, prefect for countryside walks. Very good restaurant downstairs. We enjoyed sitting by the fire in the evening in the hall.
Review 24:We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Barbara was very friendly and hospitable, and also the breakfast ladies. There are eating places just a few steps away. And of course the old baths. Bagno Vignoni is very convenient to other towns and villages so there were plenty of things to do and see.
Review 25:Parking is about 300 meters from the B&B itself; the building is oldand has a moldy smell - some people like it, my wife less so.
Review 26:Bagno Vignoni is a village built around a thermal spa in the middleages. Today it hosts 2 hotels and 2 B&Bs, along with 35 residents. This is not a rural Tuscan village but rather a destination for middle-aged Italians on a weekend. However, the proximity to points of interestand the location in the middle of Val d'Orchia makes it a perfectspot for exploring the area.
Review 27:Nothing to mention.
Review 28:Il Loggiato has its unique charm: the ancient building itself, home-like atmosphere, cheerful and client-oriented owners and staff.
Review 29:Weak wifi signal in the rooms.
Review 30:The hotel is really cozy and comfortsble, with a lot of character. Located in the amazing city of Bagno Vignoni, it does provide a wonderful experience for the guest. Ask for the La Romantica room! The breakfast is served in a nearby restaurant, and it's a great moment in itself.
Review 31:The main door and the room door were both very thin and weak. I did not feel 100% secure, but the location and other guests gave a false sense of security I embraced.
Review 32:The ambience and antiques were superb! A soft sofa close to a simmering fireplace while sipping on a lovely glass of Nobile was only surpassed by a quaint breakfast nook two doors down the cobblestone way warming our hands over another open fire while enjoying a Grande Cappuccino.
Review 33:It is a very cosy and homely place to stay. The building is beautifullydecorated with antiques and is in the heart of Bagno Vigngogni, which isa sleepy little medieval health spa village. We slept very soundly thereas it was so quiet. At breakfast, (which is across the square in aseparate building) there would be a fire lit and a friendly and cheerfulwelcome. In the early evening we would come back to the hotel and therewould be gentle music playing. At night we would come back to a candlelit space with an open fire burning. The hotel manager gave us bathtowels and bathing caps so that we could use the open air spa. She alsogave us recommendations on places to visit, and directions to find thoseplaces. There was always a supply of fresh fruit, cakes, sweets, redwine, still and sparkling water, teas and music. All in all, it was awonderful place to stay.
Review 34:It was a little bit expensive!!!and it didnt have television..
Review 35:The breakfast was realy nice!!!the best we had in italy!!! Thedecoration of the room was like we wanted it!!!very romantic!!!! And thegood thing was that there was a fridge near the room and also you wereable to make your own coffee whenever you wanted!!!!
Review 36:This is such a charming place! Our room was very romantic, with cosy wooden ceilings, pretty colours and a lovely window looking out onto the beautiful village square. The staff were very friendly and helpful, giving us advice on where to visit the local hot springs and helping us to settle in. We really loved this place and the gorgeous village of Bagno Vignoni.
Review 37:I loved Loggiato because it is completely unique: eclectic, cozy anddisarming. It has a central location and our family found the owneraccommodating and someone who enjoyed doing what she was doing.
Review 38:Very quiet hotel in a very nice village. Close to the therms.Good location for walks in the wonderful Tuscany region.
Review 39:The very comfortable lounge area was an excellent place to relax at the end of the day.
