Reviews for Cretan Malia Park
Review 1:We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and would go back soon. We have also recommended it to our friends. The staff were exceptional Yannis, Stefano in the bar were fantastic. Maria in the restaurant and the staff in the spa were great. A lovely holiday all round.
Review 2:Wish there was an exercise room on the premises.
Review 3:Great location with good beach and good sized pools. Staff was very helpful and plenty of good variety and good food.
Review 4:The room were cleaned ones a day and the lady who cleaned the room spent5-6 minutes to make up one room, the beach towels were never changed, the floor was just wet and slippery, beach/pool bars are closing at5:45 pm when most of the people were still enjoying the sun, no roomservice at all!!!! Worst hotel I ever stayed..
Review 5:The barman and head of reception were very polite and helpful
Review 6:Every thing but the location was far away from the venue of our congress we spend 30 euro each day for a taxi.
Review 7:The resort is fantastic, the food was brilliant and too many option to choose . The manager was very caring and helpful when we have difficulties due to being far away from our congress.really appreciated. Many thanks to all staff particularly to Mr. Aris the manager director.
Review 8:we need to extra pay the drink for dinner, which it didn't say a word during my booking. Although it only cost 1.90 for one bottle of water. It should be noticed before. Its kind of boring if you stay there for over 3 days and having all the dinner in hotel.
Review 9:staff are all very nice. Nice beach, room is small but very clean. A lot of choice for breakfast and dinner.
Review 10:The hotel was located a bit far from the center, but it was worth the money.
Review 11:The food was great, the view was beautiful, the staff were veryyyy friendly. The rooms were clean and nice. We really enjoyed our stay.
Review 12:The area around the hotel is not very attractive but the hotel is an oasis of calm within it. As many people book all inclusive holidays maybe they don't venture out into the local area.
Review 13:Excellent food, beautiful pools and charming staff
Review 14:location and service
Review 15:The garden and pool area are attractive but not too busy.
Review 16:Friendly and helpful personnel, wonderful territory, very good animation team, excellent meals
Review 17:A little bit too far out of town for evening strolls around the shops.
Review 18:Nice relaxed atmosphere, cleanliness, good service.
Review 19:Private beach, great pool, great location.
Review 20:None.
Review 21:Very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful park, sandy beach, good buffet breakfast and dinner, cleanliness, a bit away from noisy Malia.
Review 22:The kids club could do with improvements (building, grounds etc) andthere need to be more staff. The responsibility for one person is toomuch. We had no problems, but there were only a few kids for the bulk ofour off-high-season stay. The all inclusive gives you access to only one buffet-styled restaurant. The food there is good, but the hotel should offer the other two eateries in the All-in deal. The restaurant should not bother with changing its theme away from mainly greek food (which is all of a good standard) - the Asian night for example, was not good at all. Having a picky daughter, we would have appreciated more plain food options in the evening. Yes, she eats chips and likes pasta with no sauce, plain grilled chicken....etc. These were not on offer. There should more staples out at every meal. The bar prices if you are not all-in are a little steep. For example, the wine sold as the staple for meals and in the bar is - from memory 4.5 Euro a glass. The same wine is bought for 2.3Euro a bottle from the local over priced supermarkets in Malia. Dont bother with Malia. Come for the hote, or wider Crete - but not Malia: think Newquay on acid, peopled by drunk 17 year old Brits (yes, despite many reviewer comments knocking for example Russian tourists, we - the Brits - remain the worst tourists in the Med). Last comment. The hotel should put out more sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach. There were insufficient, and by 9am most had been reserved (despite the hotel signs saying not to do this). There is ample room on the beach for at least one more row of beds.
Review 23:The lady running the kids club - Katerina - deserves special mention.Hard working and professional. She put her all in the job, like thewhole animation team. They all seemded to work hard, doing their bestfor the guests. A nice bunch of people that deserve appreciation. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is well run. Despite what may appear like an overly negative review, we totally relaxed and enjoyed our holiday. Our 5 year old daughter loved it. So the comments to the negative are meant for the hotel - tweaks - not to deter others from booking. The restaurant is generally very good. Compared to other resorts we have stayed in, the food actually tastes in C. Malia.
Review 24:Cats that steal your food during the dinner. Animation is awful!! Cleaning in rooms isn't very satisfactory. Seaside is a bit poor.
Review 25:Good hotel with a beautiful territory and clean swimming pool. Rooms are well-equipped, there are everything you need! Very good food and dinners are always different!
Review 26:No double beds but other wise very good. Many thanks See you next year. Hopefully we are together! !!!!
Review 27:Location and the friendly staff
Review 28:Perfect place to rest
