Review 1:Not so the Fidalgo - rude, indifferent staff who didn't seem to care. The very poor state of our room. No hot water for three nights and mornings. The manager's attitude when we highlighted our concerns and when we were trying to check out. We paid for an upgraded room and did not receive one until the fourth night of our stay when I complained yet again I had no hot water . It took 6 men to check this before they agreed to move us. When this was highlighted at checkout the manager was rude, talked to us in Konkani and not English. Fortunately one of our friends understood every word she said to us so we know exactly what she was saying about the demanding and unreasonable English tourists. Having hot water and a clean room is not unreasonable or demanding. In fact we gave them the benefit of a doubt on 3 mornings when they promised to fix the hot tap!!!!!!
Review 2:Close to the centre of Panjim. We have bee to Goa many times and always had a marvellous stay. I have always be so impressed by the welcome, helpful, efficient and friendly service we have had.
Review 3:The bathroom was leaking from the tap and shower fittings on to the floor. Consequently the bathroom was always wet and smelt damp and musty. Total let down.
Review 4:After seeing the pictures of new and beautiful rooms published on the Booking site and on the site of the hotel, I have booked a privilege room to get the maximum of comfort. But the room that I have been assigned was large, but very old and in bad conditions ( the washbasin was missing a piece, some taps leaking, small cockroaches in bathroom.....), completely different from what they promise and with a terrible ratio price/quality. I have asked an explanation by email about the difference between the pictures and the real room, and how it is possible to know in advance which kind of room will be assigned, but, after 4 days, I did not get any answer. Be careful before booking a room in this hotel, personally next I will look elsewhere.

Review 6:Rude staff at the reception. I paid for privilege room and they downgraded my booking to premium room labeling it as privilege. Dirty muddy water coming out of the tap and shower. Fused bulb and worn off walls. It was not a privilege room by any means but they lied it to be a privilege room.

Review 31:The front office made a mistake in payment collection and forgot tocollect the same. I was under the impression that the payment had beenmade with my credit card.Once i left for the airport, they called to inform and thereafter started to pester and pressurise and perhaps even to delay by reaching the airport even though I told them o mail the invoice to be paid online by NEFT. I then did not answer the call. The payment was made within 15 minutes but it left a very bitter taste and the fault was entirely theirs

Review 33:The location is perfect - at the centre, with restaurants and markets all around. Hospitality is outstanding and the hotel itself is bright and cheery. Th hotel itself has many restaurants (including two veg an done exclusively serving local cuisine) and a 24 hr coffee shop.
