Review 1：Hotel has some weaknesses , if you expect to receive a 4 stars service. Samples: Breakfast is a chaos sometimes. Staff is not worried about refill the buffet neither glasses or clean dished..... Spa can not have towels or not place for left your objects... Gel and shampoo in the room is not replaced , towels are not changed even if you left them on the floor...

Review 4：the staff isn't the best they work only for living not because they love their work. they are not welcoming to families with kids. the cleaning of the rooms - is really bad we were there about 7 days and they changed the towels only 2 times after we asked them to do so and the Bed sheets they didn't change at all. breakfast - dishes are broken on the sides and the drinks when it was finished they didn't add and i notice this for the whole 7 days. but the food is good we loved it.

Review 6：Room was very small, narrow bed looked more like bigger single bed than double bed. Breakfast was really poor, when we came there was Nestlé no food left. We didnt feel like in 4 star hotel

Review 7：This hotel is not a 4 starts standard hotel, thus shouldn't be labeled that high. It should be maximum 3 starts!- terrible service; staff was average and breakfast crew was the worst you can imagine, they were basically forcing people to leave the breakfast area even before 11 (breakfast was supposed to be served till 11 on 1st January) by turning off coffee machine, taking food back to the kitchen and turning off the light in the room. When I asked the waiter if I could have a coffee his response was "yes, tomorrow morning". Food itself very low quality, not much choice and better you get up early to get anything as staff is not adding up bread, pastries, etc. if anything runs out, hence I was not lucky enough to try it all.- internet doesn't work at rooms: don't let yourself fool you that the venue offers internet connections at rooms. You can see the network but neither of my iOS devices were able to get through. It was available and working quite good on corridors though, so should be advertised as "internet available in public areas". Staff was not willing to get it solved despite many requests.- Bed - we have requested a double bed prior our arrival, what have been confirmed by both booking.com and the hotel. Unfortunately, the understanding of a single double bed apparently is different than mine as we got two single beds (twin beds) pushed together.- Taxi - Hotel offers taxi services when booked on a reception desk, as they advertise this service is at a favourable prices. We order Uber ride as I still thought the ~9000 HUF hotel- airport ride is overpriced. Taxi drivers are waiting in front of the hotel for guests. I was shocked seeing a taxi driver screaming at my Uber driver who came to pick us up. That is not what I call a nice overall service.- Towels - they are old, dirty and smelly, same with bathrobes, at 4* hotel you should receive a fresh, white (not grey) fluffy towels.

Review 9：Broken shower without a wall which holds the water back. Too short tube, we had to shower while sitting. The worst costumer service: 15 min before the end of breakfast, all the food got taken away. As I asked for some scrambled eggs, I got just a angry awnser while pointing with his finger on his watch, even if there should be plenty of time to eat, since we asked the reception how long the breakfast is. Then as my girlfriend went on time to the coffee machine to make a last coffee, the guy from the service came with an angry face and just, pushed her away and took the energy calbe out from the machine, while the machine was putting out the coffee. Then at the day of the checkout we got a call of the reception in the morning and they asked us which time we leave. One 1.5 hours before the checkout time. Never again! W got never treated so bad in a hotel like this.

Im 95 kilos ?? Therestaurant is approx 20 meter lon and 5 metres wide with a very limitedand poor menu .. The Bar was small very small maybe 2-4 metres All inall a horrible hotel ,, The staff was very stiff ,, not flexible and notfrriendly .. seems that the main interest is the moenye theu can haveoff you .. it costs 10 euro to have room service ,, last words .. dontstay there and pass the word. Review 17：The towels in the rooms and also in the wellness area were really threadbared. The bathroom was really not beautiful, the quality and level of the bathroom equipment didn't came up to the hotel's level (broken toilet lid, worn down towels)! I was quite disappointed, even for this price! A renovation would be a big help!

Review 18：The location of the hotel is really perfect. I also liked the breakfast: they offered a wide range of vegetable milk (rice, almond, soya ...) and also cold and warm food. The staff was friendly and helpful. The wellness area was small, but nice and comfortable.

Review 23：There was a bug on my bed :-( I have posted the picture on Twitter).There was no coffee/tea making machine.No minibar in the room.Not even a bottle of drinking water!You have only 1 restaurant and that closes early.Virtually no room service.The water in the wash room does not drain easily and we are left standing in soapy water. There is no soap shelf in the bath enclosure.Also there was only 1 soap. You don't deserve more than 2 stars.Since I stayed for 4 days at Novotel Danube before trying out your Hotel for a day I believe Novotel provided better value for money (of course the view from there was superb)

Review 32：Excellent value for money. Hotel is in a superb location opposite the treasury and very close to Parliament building and main shopping areas. The rooms are very clean and modern. The hotel spa is excellent and was included in the price. The hotel is on the airport taxi shuttle route which makes it ideal for city breaks. Hotel staff are really helpful. We would have given this a 10 out of ten but unfortunately the shower screen was missing in our bathroom. We will certainly use this hotel again next time we visit Budapest.

Review 37：We spent 10 days in Europe and stayed in 9 different hotels and this was the only 5 star hotel and it was the biggest disappointment. We booked a suite and it had mis matched towels and a very poor view. The staff was friendly but the hotel is definitely not 5 stars, maybe 10 years ago. It was smelly and VERY outdated. We have never posted on any site for any reason but actually felt compelled to as our stay was awful.

Review 54：Sheets to small (im 1.90, my partner 1.80), the bed was a little hard. We had to pay extra for the pool, hot tub, sauna, gym, etc. The heater was not working in the room (later it did, after we asked to check it twice) and it didnt work in the bathroom all the days. The staff was nice, but we had some problems with understanding each other. When they came up for checking the heater a guy of the hotel told us 3 times we could'nt smoke in the rooms while we both don't smoke. And the shower is terrible. It's not possible to take a normal shower without getting water in the whole bathroom (there is no shower curtain). Besides this the shower is too low to stand under. You have to take the showerhead in your hand to take a shower. The key card to get in the room was not working lots of times. It sometimes took 10 till 15 attempts to get into the room.

Review 63：The buffet breakfast was quite poor. No fresh fruit platters (only tinned fruit or whole fruit that was not fresh). Lots of chipped crockery. No service- all serve serve. The staff in breakfast room were surly and did not speak to guests. One started to clear table while I was still eating breakfast. The breakfast room is in basement, which I felt was a bit like a dungeon (no windows, gloomy, lifeless). Roof-top restaurant was closed and this was one of my main reasons for selecting this hotel (only open summer months). Welcome from one member of staff at reception was excellent. If the hotel wishes to provide a tea/coffee tray then they should do it properly and not have a kettle that one can't boil water in and two plastic cups (that were never replaced) and 2 sachets of coffee! This is what I mean when I say the hotel needs to improve their service by attending to the detail. When it rains the noise of water falling on the balcony makes it impossible to sleep.

Review 67：Roof terrace closed from Oct to April so not the same experience when staying at the hotel as if it had been open. Breakfast area in the basement was a bit gloomy. Pillows were poor quality. Shower had no curtain so water went everywhere. No lobby so nowhere to sit or have a drink or tea which felt rather odd. Area by lifts was dark and quite depressing. Hotel felt rather lacking in atmosphere and gloomy. No tea bags in the room although you could order these through room service. Horrible plastic cups were provided for coffee in the room. No free bottled water was provided in the room. Towels were rather thin. No evidence of conference facilities. Had to pay for swimming pool and other facilities.

Review 68：Hotel was in a great location right in the centre. Near lots of really nice restaurants particularly a French Bistro which served the most delicious tomato and palma ham brushetta as a starter and grilled goose liver as a main course. The French Bistro also served pasta dishes which were homemade and the portions were huge. Hotel on a quiet street although the refuse collectors seemed to arrive at 6.15am! Internet access. Breakfast good although not brilliant. Room and bathroom were a good size. Lovely staff who were very helpful.

Review 69：It is in a convenient location for access to restaurants, the hop on - hop off bus, metro station, shops and bike rental stands. The staff were very helpful. The city is lovely and has lots of sights worth visiting so you want to be close enough to walk to them or be near to transport links.

The attitude of the stuff in general was off-putting, the receptionist said she cannot change our room and "maybe tomorrow won't be any smell of food"; the waiter from the terrace restaurant didn't want to give us the table we wanted (although we've booked well in advance) for the reason that someone else booked exactly that table a few minutes ago; we sat at a different table nearby, surprisingly nobody came during the evening to occupy the one we wanted. 2. The parking, as it was in a separate building up the street. 3. The fact that the 10-12% tip is included automatically in the bill although they don't make too much effort to earn it. 4. The breakfast was hectic and they had only one toaster.

I booked this hotel for it's central location and i insist on a gym, so I was not impressed when told I had to pay extra for the gym, which would explain why nobody was there. Review 99：I got moved to another hotel for the first day of the trip (which was a 2-day stay), claiming they had a problem with the confirmation system. The hotel (Star Inn) I got rebooked to was a decent one about 1.5km away, but definitely cheaper than President (about half the price). President said they'll cover the cost, which they did, but they covered it as I've stayed in their own hotel. So I was charged as if I've stayed in President, which is simply not fair. I mentioned this to the reception, but they basically said there's nothing they can do, trying to blame booking.com in the process. It was not such a big difference in price, though, since I got a good deal via booking (Genius), but even so, the principle is wrong.

Review 100：Everything related to the hotel itself: location, room (interesting choice of mirrors on the ceiling), breakfast was decent. Definitely should try the terrace on the top, it gives a nice view of the surrounding rooftops (quite elaborate decorated ones).

Review 103：They are promoting it as a luxury hotel. They gave us a single room as a double and the room was located in a dependence part. Swimming pool is smaller than seems, but it is on charge. They have a restaurant bar on the top but it is always closed as the restaurant in the lobby, also if it has a Michelin advise. Parking is 150mt far from the hotel and it doesn't seem something professional...It is a quite good hotel, but luxury is a different thing!!!!

Review 107：The only window of our room looked into corridor - we were unable to understand the weather; The bathroom was really the most uncomfortable in my life - no shelves in the shower, you have to put your shampoos on the floor, no glass for toothbrashes, shelf above the sink designed the way that you strike it with your head every time you want to bend to the water, and so on. Review 133：the guest in the second day morning(a lady) was very helpful and polite, but not the first day afternoon. The location is ok, 10 minutes to the bridge. It was clean, wifi was strong.

Review 135：Our whole experience was excellent. Reception staff found us an English speaking driver with a BMW to drive us into wine country and visit some wineries. Dinner in the dining room (all fresh and organic) was excellent. Wait staff very efficient and friendly. Shower head was low and we are normal height, but the bathroom was luxurious otherwise. I found the bed very hard but my husband was fine with it. A very nice coffee/treat shop attached at street level with the most decadent desserts...a must.

Review 136：Some windows face the elevator area so you can't keep them openbecause of privacy issues. Curtains are too thin, so sun comes earlyinto the room. Very small pillows, I'd say ridiculously small :) Andthe bed itself is not convenient at all. Yes, the room is small, acceptit :) Air throughout the hotel is quite "overair-conditioned"even when the ac is turned off in the room.

Review 137：Location is very good, breakfast is really fine — I don't get it whyeveryone complains about it. Great panoramic view from the roof(don't miss it!) The pressure in the shower is really great. Overallit is a very good hotel to stay not more than 1-2 nights.
