Review 4:Exceptionally warm welcome and so many thoughtful little extras to make the stay even more special and relaxing. Convenient but peaceful location. Perfect. Beautifully decorated for Christmas too!
Review 5:Lovely quiet area just right to visit friends near Milton Keynes & then spend the next day at Bletchley Park. Well appointed room with tea, coffee, TV Excellent shower. House & road outside quiet. Home made cake on arrival & a good breakfast on the Sunday of our stay
Review 6:A lovely place to stay with a large room, homemade cake on arrival amongst other welcoming personal touches. Good Wi-Fi, plus actually had phone signal (not always the case in some places!), shower worked well, breakfast was great. No complaints! Plenty of parking space on the road outside and I felt the car was perfectly safe there.
Review 7:Nothing to dislike, just wish I had found the White House before having made several previous trips to the area on business.
Review 8:Friendly warm welcome. Comfortable room and so quiet. Fantastic freshly cooked breakfast in the morning just for us.
Review 9:Parking is on the road but not a problem as we could park right opposite.
Review 10:Warm welcome. Help yourself to some cake. Room very comfortable and had everything we needed. Very good breakfast. Short walk to pub with a good Italian restaurant.
Review 11:A quiet village location yet fast access to central Milton Keynes. Comfortable and welcoming - with thoughtful extra touches like tea and lemon drizzle cake on arrival and a well stocked hospitality tray in the room. Slept like a log which was followed by an excellent full English breakfast which set us up for the day.
Review 12:Nothing!
Review 13:Lovely comfortable and clean room - lots of attention to detail made it a very enjoyable stay! The breakfast was also fantastic - nothing was too much trouble!
Review 14:There was nothing to dislike.
Review 15:We liked everything about "The White House" in Little Brick Hill. The owner's Sue and Mike were just lovely they were so friendly and nothing was any trouble. They organised a bottle of Champagne & a Birthday cake for my Husband's 50 the they even put balloons out for us. Just wonderful.
Review 16:Comfortable, stylish room with excellent facilities and those all important special touches. Handmade shortbread biscuits, toiletries and bottled water.
Review 17:The owners were absolutely first class in the way they presented themselves and went about their business. If I ever return to Milton Keynes, I'd not want to stay anywhere other than White House.
Review 18:Very difficult to find in the dark sat nav didn't help
Review 19:The friendliness of the owners. Thoughtfully coming out on the street to help me find it in the dark.
Review 20:Mike and Sue are the perfect couple for running a B & B. They made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived until departure. The attention to detail was fabulous and the breakfast super delicious.
Review 21:Room was near the breakfast room and could hear all the people. Shower noise from upstairs at 05:30
Review 22:Friendly owners, location, cleanliness, comfort, hot shower
Review 23:EVERYTHING!!! Wonderful hosts, good Italian restaurant within walking distance, beautiful garden, cute dog, room was lovely and very clean and well appointed. Breakfast was delicious. When we arrived the owner prepared us tea and offered a delicious cake for a snack. Would definitely return here.
Review 24:Nothing at all!
Review 25:The bed was really comfy, the rooms were all beautifully decorated, Mike and Sue were wonderful hosts, breakfast was delicious and lots of choice.
Review 26:Everything about this B&B was superb, but the crowning glory was the bed, which was huge and incredibly comfortable! The hosts are lovely, and the decor is beautiful.
Review 27:We had room 2 which had fab views of garden at front and back of house. Mike and Sue were very welcoming and their full breakfast was wonderful. Would definitely return /recommend
Review 28:There is the possibility of you having to park on the road outside .I should point out that the road is very quiet but some guests who are particular about their vehicles might have an issue. I have to say that if I had been on my motorcycle I wouldn't have been happy to park on the road for security reasons. However the owners are so friendly I am confident that should it be a problem, then they would find a solution
Review 29:Firstly the owners Mike and Sue,who definitely love what they do. You can't be so friendly and accommodating if you don't. Our room was spacious and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Small but thoughtful touches like a fridge stocked with soft drinks and water and a welcoming piece of cake in the breakfast room go the extra mile to making you feel at home.
Review 30:I don't really want to be negative as it is such a lovely place but there were 2 minor negatives. The first being we had bedroom 4 which is on the ground floor next to the dining room, you can hear all movement of guests using front door, dining room and you can hear their conversation. We were woken by the first early breakfast guest. The second thing being maybe a travel kettle should be put in this room as a full sized one does not fit under the tap for filling, we filled it using the mugs. Neither of these things are major and we throughly enjoyed our stay.
Review 31:The owners were very welcoming friendly people. Couldn't have been more helpful. The place was spotlessly clean, well decorated and well equipped. Breakfast was lovely. We would definitely use this accommodation again. Thank you for a great stay
Review 32:There is nothing that we didn't like - only perhaps that sometimes when we visit MK the White House is already full!
Review 33:Wonderful hosts who go the extra mile to make you feel at home.
Review 34:No bad experience, and frankly if I had one I'd simply talk to the hosts as I'm certain they would go out of their way to resolve the situation asap!
Review 35:Clean, tidy, well furnished rooms. Hosts are absolutely wonderful, very friendly and warm. Very quiet location yet easy to get to central Milton Keynes in 15 minutes or less.
Review 36:Very clean and the hosts were very welcoming. Lovely big room beautiful garden and plenty of parking. Will go back again if we need to stay in the area.
Review 37:Loved the rural setting. Host/hostess were very helpful in getting directions to nearby sites with brochures. They also were very cordial. Loved it.
Review 38:If there was ANY negative point it would be parking on the road but that has to be understood knowing that the road was quiet and there was plenty of room. We were told that the bathroom has yet to be updated and I am sure that will improve it but the shower was perfectly functional if a bit noisy.
Review 39:Welcoming hosts, very comfortable room albeit only one chair (if I remember aright). We would be happy to return. We could come and go as we pleased.
Review 40:Nothing.
Review 41:Our hosts were very welcoming and showed an honest interest in our comfort. The location was perfect for our interest in regional sights. We'd definitely stay here again!
Review 42:Nothing
Review 43:This is a delightful B&B with everything done to a high standard. The owners were most welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. It was like home from home!!
Review 44:We loved our stay! Attention to detail .. brilliant! Lots of excellent extra touches. If you want to stay somewhere where the owners go the extra mile this is the place!
Review 45:Comfortable bed in a light and airy room, quiet location. Breakfast was excellent with choice of cereal, fruit, yogurt, cooked breakfast with proper coffee. Enjoyed a piece of help-yourself homemade cake the night before.
Review 46:Mike and Sue are excellent hosts. The location was convenient for visiting Bletchley Park. I appreciated Mike's assistance getting to the station after returning the rental vehicle.
Review 47:Hard to find, which we were expecting but well worth it.
Review 48:The wonderful host who directed us by mobile phone when we (two Aussies!!) were hopelessly lost. The best welcome and breakfast next morning.
Review 49:What a lovely B&B with a gorgeous garden, our room was immaculate and very nicely decorated. There was so much attention to detail with mini homemade shortbreads in a jar and apples in a bowl. Along with all the information we would need cleverly put into photo frames. Mike and Sue couldn't have been more welcoming and arranged our dinner reservation for the evening, which was greatly appreciated after a long day at Woburn Safari Park!! We had a lovely cooked breakfast the following morning and we will definitely be visiting again when we are back in the area.
Review 50:The warm welcome with tea and cake. A very comfortable bedroom with lots of thoughtful touches. Lovely breakfast which set us up for our visit to Bletchley Park. Sue & Mike stood on the doorstep to wave us off and waited until we were in the car and ready to go. A lovely couple.
Review 51:Very friendly welcome with a cup of tea served in the garden on arrival. Good facilities, tastefully decorated. I recommend the pancakes for breakfast!
Review 52:That we only stayed one night.
Review 53:Everything is top notch and the hosts were so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The garden was lovely to sit in and read. There was cake in the dining area for guests to help themselves to which was a lovely and thoughtful touch. Sue made us a lovely cuppa when we arrived and Mike carried my heavy case to our room. The whole place was spotless and really peaceful. Thanks to Sue and Mike for a wonderful hearty breakfast which kept us going all day. Highly recommended to all.
Review 54:Very comfortable bedroom with french window onto pretty garden. Every detail had been thought of - even homemade shortbread and dog biscuits for our small dog! Great selection at breakfast and welcoming and friendly hosts.
Review 55:The stairs but we had booked the last room so couldn't be helped but Mike carried up our bags and Sue brought them down in the morning. So big thank you!
Review 56:The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The room was sparkling and fresh with water and fresh fruit and biscuits as well as tea coffee and hot chocolate. Above all the bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. Next morning we had a very enjoyable breakfast which is included in the price
Review 57:A superb location with beautiful gardens and off road parking. Our room was very clean with a large bed and seating area to relax in. Sue prepared an axcellent evening meal for us by arrangements which was much appreciated after an exhausting but very interesting visit to Bletchley Park.
Review 58:only a twin room left, not their fault but nowadays is there a need for twin rooms? No other problems, very good.
Review 59:good welcome, very clean room, good hosts and a good breakfast. booked the room late the night before
Review 60:Very clean and comfortable. Welcomed by very friendly hosts with tea and cake in the garden sunshine!! Everything you could wish for provided. Lovely home cooked breakfast. Couldn't have wished for a nicer place to stay, very close to Woburn which we were visiting and nice pub 5 minutes walk away with great Italian restaurant.
Review 61:Shower was noisy but all in all that was not a problem
Review 62:Perfect retreat after an excellent day at Bletchley Park. We were welcomed with lovely homemade cake and a pot of tea. The owner even made a reservation for us at the local Italian where we had a superb meal. The bed was extremely comfortable. Highly recommend
Review 63:That I couldn't stay longer!
Review 64:The hosts were incredibly accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. The bnb itself was immaculate, light, nicely decorated and had many very nice touches, e.g. home baked goods, crisp bed linen, good showers, lots of dietary options. The owners go to the extra effort in so many ways and it really made a difference.
Review 65:Small room and bathroom facilities, but didn't worry us as we were only there for one night. We saw the other larger rooms though and would choose one of those next time !
Review 66:Lovely comfy bed and super breakfast.
Review 67:- Beds were rock hard and uncomfortable, especially for someone with back problems. - We were told upon arrival that we needed to check out at the usual time, despite having arranged a later time with the owner immediately after we initially booked. - No on-site parking, we had to park in the road.
Review 68:- The breakfast was excellent. - The hotel is in a good location, in close proximity to the OU. - Great WiFi. - Superb shower. - Owners were nice people.
Review 69:Nothing - everything was good
Review 70:Huge comfy bed and delicious breakfast. We had tea and coffee on arrival and a slice of yummy cake. The owners seem to go out of their way to make their guests feel comfortable.
Review 71:Am fed up of "faceless" hotels, so thought I'd try something different. This place was great - exactly what I wanted. From the welcome, the standard of the room to the relaxed nature - suited me perfectly.
Review 72:Where to start? A very friendly welcome, great room and wonderful breakfast. Very quiet and comfortable night. Lovely location and very easy to get to lots of places. Nothing was too much trouble for out hosts.
Review 73:Everything was good. There was nothing to dislike.
Review 74:Everything, cleanliness , comfort and good food. Just need to have a range of juices , orange Apple and cranberry juice and squash for children .
Review 75:Dark, difficult to find, some reflective sign or lights on the name of white house would've been helpful. Parking was outside the place. Bed could be more comfortable.
Review 76:Very good hosts. Nice lovely hot cooked breakfast. Clean and tidy place. Everything was thought through. You can't think of anything which you need & not there. I arrived 1:20 in the morning and everything was there. Thanks guys.

Review 81:We needed somewhere to stay for 1 night near Bletchley and many other accommodation options were fully booked. How glad we are ! The White House is beautifully decorated and run by a very friendly couple. Breakfast was fantastic. We would definitely stay again if we needed another night in the region.
Review 82:The owners were lovely and welcoming, the room was big with a big bed, it was clean and comfortable. The breakfast, especially the pancakes was really great and the little pieces of shortbread left in a small jar in are room were delightful. We will definitely stay there again.
Review 83:From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome and encouraged to feel at home and help ourselves to cake. The rooms were lovely, warm and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. All for a very reasonable price!
Review 84:Flawless.
Review 85:Having stayed in many b&bs and the odd hotel in the area, this is the best yet. Great room, nicely decorated and a good size. Room had some home-made shortbread and some cake was available for guests in the breakfast room. Had a fridge available to use if required. Has off-road parking available on a private drive. The en suite was nice and clean, and the room was cleaned each day. The shower was powerful and hot. The owners were very friendly and provided help with all my queries. Breakfast was prepared quickly - and was tasty, despite just arriving unannounced in the morning.
Review 86:My only niggle is that the bed was too hard for me, but this might be due to the newness of the mattress.
Review 87:The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful, going the extra mile to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The breakfast was excellent, and the toasted cheese sandwich and pot of tea were most welcome after I arrived!
Review 88:Can't think of any negatives

Fabulous location near Woburn, Bletchley and Milton Keynes. Beautifully decorated. Spotlessly. Huge room and super kingside bed. We stayed for three nights. Breakfast is varied and delicious. There is an Italian restaurant five minutes walk away or they will cook for you if booked in advance. Amazing value for money.

Review 95:Great place to stay, like a home from home. Owners very friendly and the offer of a pot of tea and homemade chocolate cake on arrival (and on the house) just added to the whole experience. Will definately stay here again, the breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was excellent. Very difficult to get in though as it is always fully booked, that tells you what people think of this little 'gem'.
Review 96:Absolutely everything. Great bedroom. Clean Excellent breakfast Attention to every details in order to please customers I felt 'spoiled' by Sue and Dave. The home made shortbread hearts..... Something to remember!!!! A big thank you !
Review 97:The landlord and landlady are very friendly. The breakfast is excellent. The room is tidy, clean, and nice. Mike and sue always at help all the time. Thank you very much. We really enjoy our stay. Pon & Kat
Review 98:We stayed three nights and had a lovely time - the owners are friendly, relaxed and very helpful but not pushy - if you need any help or advice they're more than happy to give it but if you want to be left alone, that's no problem either. Room was large, clean, with a small but excellent en suite. Breakfast was really good too. Hope to return next year to explore more of the area.
Review 99:Very warm personal welcome. Bedroom was very comfortable, spacious, including generous tea & coffee facilities. Excellent breakfast with terrific choice. Sue and Mike the owners were very friendly and helpful. Hope to stay there again sometime.
Review 100:English weather until the sun came out (hahaha)
Review 101:Could not fault only stopped one night wish it could have been one week hope to return in future made to feel at home on arrivale home made cake and pot off tea, the location was excellent 10min to shopping centre 5min to a free parking magnificent lake and walk
Review 102:Trying to park the car within the bounds of the property. Plenty of room to park on the road.
Review 103:Warm friendly welcome. We were offered tea and cake on arrival. Brilliant on such an awful weather day. Wonderful choice of breakfast after a very restful night.
Review 104:This is a 100 year old home which has been very tastefully renovated. Our room was large, with a king size bed, wonderful linens and great pillows. There were all the extras you would hope for, cookies, fresh fruit, candies and a kettle, in the room! The bathroom was snug but clean with lovely towels. There is a beautiful garden which would be a great place to recharge in the middle of a trip but for us the weather did not permit. Breakfast was wonderful with great variety and served in such a pretty fashion. We found the most wonderful charm and hospitality. When we arrived after a long day we were treated to a pot of hot tea and just as we started sipping, magically hot cheese scones appeared for a great treat. Also, we had a small problem at home and the owners offered me their private phone so that I could call home. Minutes later all was in good order. This was generously and genuinely offered. The White House is one of those rare places that are not often found. It has all the Englsh charm and honest hospitality that one can only hope to find in ones dreams. I would return in a heartbeat.
Review 105:lovely smooth soft sheets. gluten free breakfast!!! comfort. very friendly and helpful convenient for bletchley & miton keynes vegetarian friendly
Review 106:Very friendly owners who can't do enough to make your stay a great one. Lovely little home baked treats, great choice of breakfast and spotless place.Thoroughly reccommended.
Review 107:Although the bed was a king size, it was 2 beds attached so I could feel the edges where they joined. The bed was a bit too firm for me, but no doubt would suit others.
Review 108:The room was in great decorative order. The room and bedding spotless. The bed was a king size, which was great. Although I only hd poached eggs and toast I'm sure everything else would have been just as delicious. Location was excellent for Leighton Buzzard Golf Course (10mins)
Review 109:Warm welcome and a pot of tea on arrival. Very comfortable, well decorated rooms with pleasant out look over gardens. Comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast.
Review 110:No electrical shaving socket in bathroom
