Opened in Siófok in 2011, the 4-star Hotel Azur Premium offers a private beach on Lake Balaton and a large wellness centre with indoor pool, hot tub and a sauna with panoramic views of the lake. Its stylish rooms all have a balcony.
Air conditioning and cable TV are standard room facilities. Decorated in terracotta colours, every room comes with a minibar, bathrobes and toiletries. Some rooms also enjoy direct views of Lake Balaton and Tihany Peninsula.
With 1,800 m², the wellness centre offers a great range of spa facilities including an infrared cabin, 3 Finnish saunas, a beauty centre and massage rooms. Premium Azur also has an outdoor pool where you can relax in the summer.

Review 1：On a purely personal basis we were not too keen on the food for the evening meal even though there was a choice from 3 menus and the food was beautifully presented, it was just not to our taste.

Review 4：some of the staff are unprofessional, even rude. Change of towels every 3 days by rule but even on the third day the staff were not able to change saying they ran out of towels! Some staff are unhelpful, expressing they are sorry for our inconveniences but not even trying to fix the problem. At check-in with my daughter I was told that I "only" booked for 2 people - I was puzzled whether they had double vision or there is a minimum number of people you can book for.... Staff moved my bag to a different table without even asking me - every day some annoying new experience...

Review 12：Internet in the room was very poor quality. For a 4 stars hotel, the service quality is not up to the standard. Used to be better (in 2014) What ever you ask for at the reception, the receptionist was only able to tell me where to go get the information or whatever I was asking for (massage booking, drinks, etc). She never took her phone to make arrangement herself. Which, for a 4 star hotel would be something normal.

Review 14：beds were bit hard and less quality, more and larger towels would be nice, breakfast buffet was ok, but not great. Takes some walk to get to center of town, but it is also good as less noise in area.

Review 15：It is a solid, four star hotel experience. Everything was working fine, nothing extraordinary. Outside areas, waterside, park, etc. and programmes for kids looked good. Nice, quiet, relaxing place, especially for families. As other places are mediocre around lake Balaton, this solid hotel is a great choice.

Review 16：A leggyengébb pont a vacsora, első este egy menüből lehet választani amit csak a vacsora megkezdése előtt közölt velünk a főpincér Úr, mivel tányér szervízes nem választható ételekről van szó, átmentünk a sima elvileg 4 a gyakorlatban alig 3 csillagos azúrba vacsorázni, a színvonal KRITIKÁN ALULI, az ételek színvonala és minősége botrány, senkinek sem ajánlom úgy összességében a sima azúrt, csakis a premium részt. Második este a menüválasztásos, A, B és C (vega) menüsorból lehetett választani, de a reggelihez képest ami nagyon szuper volt a vacsora abszolút csalódás volt, de a lobby és az étterem nagyon szép, hangulatos, a személyzet pedig nagyon kedves.

Review 20：Room cleaning was really disappointing, we had to ask the staff to clean the room as it wasn't done until 3pm....the pillows were just awful-once u sleep on them-the headache is guaranteed another day. The breakfasts were not good-poor choice of food, no food appropriate for kids. Pets are not allowed.

Review 21：The location is very good, good outside infrastructure facilities. The hotel is new, which is also advantageous. The room was equipped by flexible TV table, which can be turned around from bed, so the kid could sleep at night, to the sofa, which was in another corner of the room, so we could watch the TV programs. SPA is good enough, with a choice of swimming pools-thermal, for kid's, with different tempeRature. The Dinners were good and the snack bar was a nice place to spend an evening, playing bowling or darts.

Review 23：Very good breakfast, gourmet dinner, great spa, amazing sauna with panoramic view of Lake Balaton and silence. I was touched to find a cake with a candle in the room for my birthday. Great surprise, never happend before in any hotel.

Review 24：The exercise facility is only open from 8 in the morning to 8 in the evening. Although this is probably fine for the vacation traveler, as a business traveler, this doesn't fit my schedule good enough for me to stay in this hotel again.

Review 29：This was our second time here and both times there was a problem with the room: This time the room was not cleaned on time (i.e. an hour late). Furthermore, at night 200 (!!!) little flies came out of the wall, but we decided to keep to room because of all the problems we already had during the day.

Review 30：We are a couple in our early 40's just looking to relax for a couple of days, the hotel is connected to Hotel Azur which is a family resort, a lot of children were there in July and the pools and grounds of both hotels are shared! So it was quite noisy but there's always somewhere to escape to in the grounds for some peace and quiet....take your i-pod!

Review 31：Perfectly situated on the lake with private access. Wonderful breakfast buffet including smoked salmon and champagne!!! All included in the price! Fantastic gourmet 5 star, 5 course dinner also included in the price. Portions a little small but enough to satisfy!

Review 32：THE FOOD!!! All potential visitors on half board beware!! Even though you paid to stay in the premium wing of the hotel you will be sent off to dinner (like we were) to the non premium wing where the restaurant is terrible! I thought the people before me who had written negative comments about the food were just picky but this was beyond a joke. Halfway through the seating i almost ordered a pizza to the restaurant! Hygiene - terrible!! The table cloth was covered in stains from people who had eaten before us and the staff did not bother changing it they just put down new cutlery! Please do yourself a huge favour and either request room only or go to the restaurant over the road because this place was average at best.

Review 34：Breakfast includes beverages, but all beverages (including water!) at the included dinner are at additional cost. Our traveling companions had a request for sun beds on their balcony (which all the other rooms like theirs had) and were told "It is not possible." That left the impression that some of the staff need training in customer service.

Review 35：The hotel was clean and uncrowded. Most of the staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was spacious, with a large balcony overlooking Lake Balaton, though a large tree obstructed part of our view of the lake. The resort was not at all crowded in mid-July.

Review 38：Few times the english version of 5-course dinner menu was missing. Kids under the age of 12 cannot play bowling (I do not understand why). Thanks to its location nearest the lake, perpetual presence of mosquitoes and spiders (balcony and as well as rooms) can be disturbing especially for those who suffer from arachnophobia. So do not forget to take insecticide spray with you.

Review 86：For a 5 star facility the grounds were poorly kept, the staff was rude and made you feel as though you were bothering them. To get a bucket of ice was like pulling teeth. There was hair from the previous guest in the hotel tub, when we first arrived the sheets on the bed were dirty and we had to wait for someone to come and change them.

Review 87：I would recomended to everyone, and i also did. I loved it. I would like the thank especialy one of the most dedicated person in the hotel staff, hes name is Norby from the restaurant. We had an amasing time there.

Review 88：1/ they did not have my reservation and they booked me in the other Azur hotel ( lower standard) as they had a seminar ( overbooking and probably more $ interest to book for a seminar than for a booking.com customer ...) I refused and i called Booking.com customer care which solved the issue rapidly.... Unacceptable behavior from a 4* hotel. 2/Because of this seminar i could not access to the restaurant and had to go to a kind of shopping mall " food court" with only pizzas and junk food like ..... 3/ at the SPA the manager was probably paid on cost saving as you had to ask the water from the spa to be actioned and once you were finished the same manager was switching off the water . Bottom line extremely poor service not up to 4* standards but 3* at best... 4/ In the room don't wash yourself too much , only one towel per person and one liquid shower gel for 2 and again for a suite Really not a place to go if you enjoy some luxury and good service .

Review 90：- Level od service (personel of the 4 star hotel should speak english and should be able to provide exact information on the services offered by the hotel)- room service - they were coming only in the morning, so if you do not like waking up early - your room wil not be cleaned and minibar refilled. Food : in the "premium restaurant" overcomplicated, yet not very tasty. Very small portions. After one diner in the hotel we decided to dine in the restaurants in the city (much better food and service). - reasonable option is to go for open buffet in the "non premium" part of the hotel - hotel "beach" - maybe this was due to the time of our visit (begining of May) but there was no grass on the significant part of the lake side and private hotel beach was covered with mud.

The cleaning woman didn't make out bed and forgot to give us sampoo and shower gel,and when I asked her why she didn't change our bed linen she said well the bed was made(I just set the covers how it should be)..
