Review 7:At times the staff where a little rude and service was a little slow but don't get me wrong overall it was a fantastic 3 day break

Review 8:The lodges where excellent and central to all .

Review 9:Booked and paid for a 3 bed villa and got a 2 bed apartment. When I complained the staff were adamant they were correct and they gave me what I booked. Reluctantly they said I'd receive a 50 euro refund but I never received it!

Review 10:we had granny and grandson and adult son with us and we all thoroughly enjoyed the quiet surroundings with lovely walks and scenery .we used the leisure centre and playing fields.it was a great base to visit southeast beaches.dungarvan was a lovely town with a wide variety of eateries to choose from.lots to see and do.we will definitely holiday at the goldcoast again

Review 11:I liked that the cottage was big and spacious.very comfortable and in a peacfull and lovely location That there was plenty options for everyone to use e.g. swimming kykaking .playground. golf bueatifull beach and would gladly go back next year

Review 12:Whilst hotel was clean it is due an update. Worn carpets throughout which could easily be replaced. Good size bar with nice food . but needs an uplift. Has potential to be a nice hotel bar but needs refurbishment asap

Review 13:Villa was large and spacious and clean. Nice grounds kept well. Nice pool.

Review 14:Cottages could do with updating and definately need for better curtains in the bedrooms

Review 15:The cottages were in a lovely location, with plenty for the kids to do close by

Review 16:Wifi was poor and pretty much unusable. TV reception poor also.

Review 17:Loved the space and the white cotton sheets! Comfortable beds and generous equipment, warm and cosy and friendly staff and lovely leisure centre for the rainy days.

Review 18:both hotel facilities were very poor for adults, clonea strand hotel was actually closed on mon.6th of july! I was looking forward to a coffee while the kids were in the pool(which we had a job to find) and there wasn't anyone about to even tell me what was going on. I wondered how the hotel residents got in and out and was glad at the same time that I was'nt one of them!

Review 19:the villa was spacious, ideal for us as a family of seven, very well kept and nice green area for kids, however it's a bit mean having to pay for electricity, the house wasn't cheap!

Review 20:We have enjoyed the beautiful view from the house and the overall location of the villa. Having a breakfast outside, in front of the house was a real pleasure. The house itself was nice and spacious, ideal for a group of 6.

Review 21:The friendliness of the owner on our arrival who had remembered me from my last visit, the cleaniness of the house, the excellent facilities for children (open area for children to play and the pool). Once again, happy memories for us all after our stay.

Review 22:The serving Of food ended to early for the type of function I was at.

Review 23:The serving of the staff in all areas were excellent from reception to the bar and restaurant, location was stunning and the views from the function room were amazing. The cottages are a little dated but that did not matter because the standard of cleanliness was top marks , would love to stay here again

Review 24:The cottage decor could do with updating

Review 25:Leisure facilities were great . The swimming pool was great for the kids especially as the weather was quite dismal

Review 26:The house was dated, the electricity to the sockets wasnt turned on until we went over to reception. The website didnt say towels weren't provided. The shower leaked. If you have neighbours you wiĺl hear everything which in turn disturbed my babys sleep

Review 27:I liked most of the staff as they were quite pleasant

Review 28:None

Review 29:A friend and I stayed here for a week in September to access some of the brilliant fishing which is right on the doorstep. We were greeted by very welcoming staff who immediately upgraded us to a lodge, 5 bedrooms between two people with all the facilities any fisherman could ever need, and very nice it was indeed! We had a great stay, the bunker bar is great for a few beers in between fishing and the food/breakfasts are pretty decent. Dungarvan town is only a couple miles drive to stock up on food for the fridge in the lodge and if youre like us and have come for the fishing then just look in front of the resort! Doesn't get much better tbh. Well recommended, we will be back.

Review 30:We are a family with young children, loved the accomm and location, close to town and beaches. Swimming pool was lovely and the kids loved the playground outside our door.

Review 44:Being so close to the playground enabled us to watch the small children while sitting outside our house and chatting with the adults.

Review 72:A bit dated.. The dishwasher and sink smelled a bit.

Review 73:The villa was huge for a really cheap price.

Review 74:The cottages could do with a little updating, they are looking a little tired inside. I found the bed a little hard but my partner and son said they were ok, so its just a matter of taste. The windows let a lot of draughts in.

Review 75:Full use of the leisure facilities. Our own cottage so we could come and go as we pleased. Lovely sea view and easy access to town.

Review 76:Accommodation was not of high standard. Heating didn't work, dishwasher was broke and leaked everwhere and no maintenance person available. Bar food was overpriced and not of great standard. Towels, esb and gas were all extra costs and we couldn't bath the kids because no towels were available for free.
