Admire the wonderful view and enjoy the peace and quiet at Hotel Villa Michelangelo, an elegant, 18th-century, stately home. It is surrounded by the Berici Hills, 4 miles from Vicenza.
Relax by the swimming pool (semi-covered) and enjoy a drink from the poolside bar. The restaurant is open for both lunch and dinner. It features a terrace, which overlooks the beautiful grounds full of lemon trees. It is an excellent place to sample some regional and Italian cuisine, accompanied by an exclusive selection of fine, local wines.

Reviews for Hotel Villa Michelangelo

Review 1:the hotel needs to be redecorated, most of the stuffs look old fashion and old. Water not hot enough in the bathroom, strange bathtub

Review 2:Location, view, value for money

Review 3:Pool area (particularly toilets and showers) as well as staircases and corridors not clean. Mould on walls in several places. Broken equipment - aircon cooling the room to fridge temperature and shower not staying up on the shower rail (seemed to have been broken for a long time and staff was not interested to fix it). Service at breakfast sometimes needed some prompting.

Review 4:Good location. Very quiet. Lovely pool area. Some staff friendly and helpful (but others not). Rooms were clean.

Review 5:The evening meal was sublime.

Review 6:Nothing

Review 7:We have already stayed in this hotel a few years back and everything is still great! The hotel is the best in the area. A very beautiful place.

Review 8:Overpriced, overrated, pretentious dining, asked for a two bed double room got a single room with a queen size bed that I had to share with my business partner, really bad room very small and dirty, found more than 4 dead moths around the bathroom sink. Really sad to see such a beautiful hotel in such a bad state.

Review 9:Beautiful location and beautiful historic building

Review 10:Internet connection/WiFi was very poor, A bit expensive

Review 11:Comfortable hotel in the hills of Vicenza, peaceful. Staff was very helpful with any requests I had.

Review 12:This historic Villa is in a beautiful, park like setting with fantastic views! The pool side dinner was unique and very pretty at sunset. I would say the food was good/not excellent. The staff was very helpful and pleasent. We loved it and will return!

Review 13:The restaurant was poor and over-priced. We'd come by train and taxi so had no easy means of going elsewhere for dinner. Prices for drinks seemed high and the bar service was slow. The fire alarm sounded at 4am one morning. On reaching reception (wondering if evacuation was necessary) there was nobody to provide assistance. There are long, dreary corridors to get to the bedrooms and to the 'semi-underground' swimming pool. Our room was dark with only a small window, and its en-suite bathroom was so tiny one could hardly turn around in it. We stayed there to visit Vicenza and wished we'd stayed elsewhere.

Review 14:The hotel is situated in pleasant countryside and general surroundings.

Review 15:The quality from the restaurant is not in balance with the quality levelfrom the hotel in general. They have to change the chef to improve the quality from the kitchen.

Review 16:This hotel is really great. Fantastic location, very nice swimming pool.Fantastic. Very satisfied.Attention for business men: Internet connection (by cable) is very fast. You will find very seldom in Italy.

Review 17:Breakefast could be better (also in terms of service). For the rest it is a very nice place to relax and as a basis for city trips.

Review 18:Very nice room in a bueatiful location (perfect for visiting Padova, Vincenza and Venice), helpful staff at the reception.

Review 19:The location, the elegant public rooms, the swimming pool area, the views from the terrace.

Review 20:The location was amazing, the hotel and the park beautiful, serene, quaint...

Review 21:Great setting on the top of the hill with a great view of the countryside. Staff was very helpful and breakfast was very good.
