Reviews for Seaview Guesthouse

Review 1:The location and view were superb, and the landlady was friendly and helpful. Gave us a lift to the pub for dinner, picked us up after dinner, and even checked at mid- night to see that we had a lift home from the trad music session.

Review 2:The premises are tired, the bathroom facilities and fixtures require a remodel and update, TV on wall next too useless. Heating inadequate, bed and bedding fair, only one chair provided in room. No facilities for suitcases.

Review 3:The location is convenient, and yet not too far from the town and facilities

Review 4:Really great b&b only suggestion I would make is the option of extra pillows. Silly thing!

Review 5:Good location just outside Dungarvin - Lovely town. Good size room and beautiful view.

Review 6:The pictures are old and the house is tired. The bathroom needed a good clean, not just a quick one. Wifi didn't work in room. Overall not what we expected for the money.

Review 7:The owner was nice and helpful.

Review 8:We didn't research well enough to realize this wasn't on the water's edge but rather it is located quite a bit away up the road. It did have a view of the sea.

Review 9:On arrival there was only one room available instead of the two that were booked .. My conformation email showing my booking for 2 rooms was worthless . Had to find others accomadition after long journey . Won't be recommending them anytime soon .

Review 10:Floors were slightly dusty. It was a busy bank holiday weekend, so not a big deal.

Review 11:The view was great, very nice location, warm welcoming house, parking space avilable, the breakfast was very tasty and rich: nice selction of french cheese, cereal, fruit, yogurt, full irish breakfast, nice fresh breads. I like the interior decoration, simple, but nice.

Review 12:Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Made us feel at home. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone! Stop by the seanachi down the road for a good snack and drink.

Review 13:Cramped shower ensuite in need of updating.

Review 14:Location, excellent views. Real Irish pub/restaurant just 300 metre walk from B&B: excellent food, wine & service.

Review 15:Squeaky Floors throughout.

Review 54:This is a clean, cosy, and comfortable, Guest House with beautiful views and a very pleasant and helpful Host, Breakfast was delicious and the view from the dining room breathtaking! will be going there again!

Review 55:Very comfortable stay-owners are very experienced and it shows in the purpose built accommodation with high standards across the board.Stunning location with easy access to all local sights.Owners very informative on places to visit.Beautiful, wholesome irish breakfast.Highly recommend both Seaview Guesthouse and the local sites.

Review 56:We had a seaview room which was ok however window is very small and road noise is significant. The room floor was quite dirty and the shower disgusting. Only one towel provided for two people. Floors are very noisy as they creak when anyone moves around. Walls are very thin and quite easy to hear next door people talking. Breakfast was the worst on our 9 day trip of Ireland with only one cereal available, only enough jams etc for one person, very mean. Staff (1 person) couldn't cope with number of guest having breakfast at one time.

Review 57:Parking was great and views beautiful. Friendly owners and very helpful.

Review 58:At checkout we were told they had a cash only policy as business hadbeen poor?We had no awareness in advance and feel this should be madeclear on your website as it caused embarrassment. Please address thisissue as we left with a bad feeling purely because of this.

Review 59:Parking could be improved on in such a way that people allowed room for others, i.e. designated bays.

Review 60:Views from front of house spectacular. Very friendly people.

Review 61:shower wasn't very clean beside busy main road so traffic was noisy (hot weather meant window needed to be open...prob ok if window shut)

Review 62:the view the friendliness

Review 63:The hotess was very kind and helpful. The room big and comfotable. The house is lovely tipical Irish Bed and Breakfast, 5 km from Dungarvan easily reachable by taxi or by car. The view is wonderful, espacially on sunny morning at the breakfast table. And a must for late dinner is the Seanackie. Thank you for eveything. Lison

Review 64:There wasn't a lot of extra space in the room and, as the local restaurant was closed, you definitely needed a car if you wanted to eat!

Review 65:We were made very welcome, and the view from Seaview is lovely

Review 66:Great location for early morning ferry. Food in the restaurant was amazing. Friendly welcoming staff. Would stay again.
