Review 1：The water in the bathroom runs a bit slow.

Review 4：Staff were brilliant, so friendly & helpful. Room was large, clean & comfortable. Having a sink in the room was so good. Shared bathroom was just outside the room & clean. Location to Venice Island & the airport was perfect with a bus stop so close. A ride to the airport was organised for us early in the morning, before the busses started. This was cheaper than a cab. The restaurant downstairs was handy & yum.

Review 6：The hostess here could not have been nicer. We had a fabulous dinner in the little restaurant and then she came in early to give us breakfast before we headed off to the airport.

Review 7：The bath/toilet room is on the floor, one for 3 or 4 rooms, so it is not a big problem. But in the morning it was pretty cold there.

Review 8：The staff is very kind and helpful. We've got two separate double rooms to the backyard instead of the triple one to the road side because we asked for quiet room and it was not available. The pizza is one of the best I've ever eaten, and the restaurant full of locals at any time from noon until very late is the best evidence for that. The breakfast is simple but fresh and good - really fresh pressed orange juice is great, toasts, one sort of ham and cheese, homemage jam and of course the italian coffee (not a boiled mix, but a real espresso or capuccino). The bus (No. 19) stopps in 50 meters from the hotel door, comes every 15 - 20 minutes and takes about 10 minutes to Venice - the price is €1,50 pp. It is not always possible to buy the tickets in the bus (and it is a bit more expensive). The only problem is then to find the proper stop on the return way, when it is dark outside and the stops are not announced by the driver. Ask hotel stuff for support beforehand. Free and big parking just in front of the hotel. And again - very frendly and helpful stuff.

Review 9：Nothing over which the owners have any control, except that perhaps too many rooms shared the single shower room & toilet. Our only real complaint was the lack of consideration shown by some of the guests and the noise they made in the passage after midnight.

Review 10：The accommodation lived up to it's name and was tastefully and colourfully decorated. Very comfortable. Exceptionally clean. Shower was hot. Staff (Nella) was very friendly and welcoming. We had a meal in the Colours family restaurant downstairs and were amazed at the quality and substantial helpings. We were able to take some away with us for our breakfast the following morning. This was helpful as we were leaving very early, before breakfast. Nella kindly packed in some juice & bottled water for us to take along as well. She showed us where we should catch the bus (across the road) and looked up the times for us. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Really excellent.

Review 11：The walls are incredibly thin, so you can hear the TV, even the footsteps from your neighbours. Shared bathrooms can be inconvenient.

Review 18：The owner was very helpful, I was staying just a night to go back quick to the airport for another flight so the owner provided me breakfast to take in the room when I arrived in the night time, which was very nice and arranged a taxi for the airport. Very good room, clean, with space, comfort and near the airport.

Review 19：We didn't love the area.. There is not much to do within walking distance, but it is far more affordable than staying in Venice. The timing of the bus arriving didn't always match the schedule, but we only had to wait max 20 min or so. The beds are not very comfortable and our floor was so full that the bathroom was often occupied. However it is such an affordable place, you shouldn't expect more.

Review 20：The owner is amazing and so kind! The rest of the staff are as well. We loved the restaurant - delicious pizza and wine, huge portions. Breakfast was very filling and generous as well!

Review 21：The restaurant and hotel reception are managed by the same people, so if you arrive for dinner time, you might have to wait to check in or be served, but they cook really well! The shared bathroom door couldn't be locked.

Review 22：The hotel is on top of a restaurant owned by the hotel and works until late making some really good dishes! There is a sink in the room and there is accessible parking and we could see our car from our window. Spacious and cosy room. There is a washing machine in the shared bathroom

Review 26：Location was great. 10 min bus ride into venice. Short walk to bus stop for venice and airport. Staff was amazing especially the two girls that work in the morning, super friendly and accommodating in every way. My rate included breakfast which I only had one of the days due to my schedule. A large plate of ham, cheese, butter & jam, toast and croissants as well as fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee, tea is served to you at the restaurant that is part of the hotel. Shared bathroom but it is cleaned every day as are the rooms. Washer on one floor they even had detergent if you needed it. Rooms are pretty spacious and you have a sink in your room with a mirror. which is nice as you don't have to run out to the bathroom for everything. A great experience overall. If you are not looking to stay in Venice itself highly suggest Campalto area and this hotel.

Review 27：Hotel was lovely. It is not in the island itself but it is easy to reach the venice by bus(just 10 min). The lady was a very cute italian woman and she helped us a lot. We liked the place very much. I strongly recommend this place. It's like home :)

Review 28：Not located in Venice islands itself, so you need public transport Not all of them speaks english, so take that into account. Only the lady with the short hair (i think she's the manager) speaks english.

Review 37：The staff and owners are AMAZING. Super friendly. They go out of their way to make sure you have what you need. It's like your parents are taking care of you. The owner gave us bottles of water just because it was a hot day. Free breakfast (the paid restaurant food is also definitely worth a try!). The other owner gave us free pizza bread when we had drinks in the restaurant. The bus to Venice central stops in front of the hotel, and the ride is only about 20 minutes. The airport is just a few km down the road. Highly recommended.

If you have a car there is free parking! The rooms and bathroom were very clean and cleaned daily. Below is a restaurant, run by Nella also! Amazing food, great value and very big meals. I would definitely recommend staying at Colors.

There are two bus stations really close to the hotel, which lead to Venice and a ticket is only 1.50 euros and can be purchased from the tabacco store nearby. The host was really friendly and funny. We had delicious pizza for dinner and as we had to leave before 8.00 when the breakfast is served, Nella made us full breakfast to go! We left very early in the morning so she provided some snacks and drinks in a packet in the previous night itself. The room was pretty big.

Review 91：I have to say I enjoyed my time here and the first thing that I noticed was how clean and presentable it was, I was greeted by Neala who was the manager and she really makes you feel welcome and can not do enough to help you during your stay, the food in the ground floor restaurant was excellent and it was nice eating genuine Italian Food made and cooked by Italian people who were equally very happy to help with my every need there. I was very pleased the buses are on your door step into Venice and very reliable and running every 15 minutes. Heating was on and easily controlled to individual requirements in each room, I liked the people here the staff were lovely to me, the Italian Pizza's were prepared and cooked by an Italian Chef, There was plenty of other food on offer as with Pasta dishes and more. The breakfast was cheeses and ham with jam and toast and plenty to fill you up for the whole day. I would not hesitate to stay again here and have stayed in 5 star hotels and lots of Bed and Breakfasts all over Europe so know how good and bad some can be, this is not 5 star but I found the staff here were genuine in making your stay comfortable and Happy to help so making a great service to their customers. I informed Neala how much I like British Tea with my breakfast and she made me, The Best British Tea in all Italy. Great Place to stay and very clean and comfortable. Lovely Place for me.
