Reviews for Melanthi Mansion
Review 1:One should take a little luggage, you can not get close by car. To arrive there one needs to walk in stone alleyways.
Review 2:Beautiful boutique hotel. Amazing design and breathtaking views. Maintained and clean at a high level. A lovely house owner that goes out of her way to help.
Review 3:Unbeatable view over Volos, sea, islands and countryside. Warm traditional Greek welcome and outstanding hospitality. Owner gave excellent advice on touring Pilion. An experience not to be missed.
Review 4:Rather small room. Travel light because there is a long walk from parking.
Review 5:Kiki and Chrisanthi provided great friendliness and service. Very close to main square. View, view and view

Review 10:This place was excellent, both in terms of location and context of the beautiful village of Makrinitsa that people encountered. Kiki, our host, and Chrisanti were adorable: good advice, very caring, helpful ... It is almost like home! Thank you to both of you. We keep this meeting in our hearts and for sure come back there if the opportunity to return in the Pelion arises. Catherine & Fabrice
Review 11:Some Mosquitos in all makrenetsa
Review 12:We were one family with children and one couple. The place was inviting and very pleasant, Kiki , the owner went out of her way to make us feel at home without worrying about her extra efforts rendered or money. She was sweet, funny and caring, we all love her , her daughter and her staff they were all excellent. The breakfast was delicious, the view was the best in the area. The beds and pillows were very comfortable , the rooms very clean and beautiful old design and structure. We will look forward to visit her again . I would like to add that when rating Melanthi I did so keeping in mind that the whole area is old and original, of course you have to expect smaller rooms , lack of the modern comfort such as air condition although a small fan did the job for the whole of our stay. Important features were sleeping comfort, cleanliness, friendly, helpful, very generous, beautiful scenery
Review 13:Kiki, the owner, and Crisanthi, her assistant, are very warm and kind, and they love the place and its traditions. The work they've done in Melanthi Mansion is amazing. Makrinitsa is a wonderful village. Highly recommendable.
Review 14:Melanthi Mansion is a gem of a place. Our room was a little jewel box (it was tiny but we managed) with a beautifully stencilled ceiling, a kilim on the floor, tapestry on the wall and hand blown glass lampshades. We had a fantastic view from our window. Best of all ... the softest and most comfortable mattress to sleep on in all of Greece. Melanthi is up a steep cobbled laneway (like all of Makrinitsa) but Kiki and her staff helped when they could. Kiki also is a fabulous cook and made for us terrific breakfasts. If you are in the neighbourhood, Makrinitsa is worth a visit (and a stay) and we were charmed by Kiki and her little establishment.

Review 29:The owner, Kiki, was so helpful particulary when we couldn't find the place in the dark...she came to get us! We had a lovely dinner there and the breakfast was fantastic, the best I have had in Greece. The location in Makrinitsa is stunning. We stayed in the split level suite which, although fairly compact, was comfortable for our family.
Review 30:Superb hospitality. Keen Kiki, owner and operator of the hotel managesto turn the visit in her house into a unique experience of visitingGreece. All of this, it should be said, in spite the short distance oneneeds to walk and carry the luggage from the nearest spot where the carcan be parked, through the winding little village alleys. The view fromMelanthi Mansion is superb!! Unmatched!! The food cooked by Kiki ismarvelous. The place is a must!!
