Review 4：A very warm welcome from Penny on arrival with a cup of tea and refreshments. Our room was large and very tastefully furnished with a superb view. Bed very comfortable . We enjoyed the guest lounge and Kevin our host invited us to share a very welcome drink and social time with him in the evening. Breakfast was tops with fresh fruit salads and the best poached eggs on our 7 week trip. Local attractions and guidance given. A very pleasant 2 day stay.

Review 7：Gorgeous gardens, comfortable room, large sitting room, complete with reading material, hostess picked us up at bus stop and arranged for early morning reliable cab to airport. Hostess prepared breakfast despite early morning departure. Nice location near bus stop and castle and restaurants.
Review 8：The owner, Penny was lovely and gave us all the info we needed on the local area. She also recommended a great stop off on the next part of our trip. The room was huge and the whole house beautifully done and extremely comfortable.
Review 9：The pumps for the showers are a bit loud so you have to shower before 11pm. Not an issue unless you decide to spend the day near Galway and not get home until late, but we were able to make it work!
Review 10：Penny and her husband were wonderful hosts. They provided a delicious breakfast each morning with eggs made to order. Some of the best scrambled eggs I have ever had. There were many other breakfast options as well. We were going to leave before breakfast one morning and Penny planned to make fresh scones the night before and provide fruit, yogurt, cereal, coffee, etc. Very thoughtful. Great rooms with extremely comfortable beds.

Review 21：We arrived in Shannon on a red eye and headed straight to the B&B. Our room was ready at 8:30am and we were offered tea and coffee. After resting, we walked down the road to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park and ended up in the rain. When we got back, we were told where to hang up wet clothes to dry and our breakfast order was taken for the morning. Irish breakfast, French toast, and crepes were all delicious. Thank you for a wonderful first night in Ireland!

Review 24：We arrived at 5 pm and were put in a downstairs room. Another couple arrived at 5.05 pm and told the owner they were leaving in the early hours to go to the airport and would be packing well into the night. Put into the room above us. Why??? Bit of thought could have prevented them clomping around on creaky floors till all hours. Bed in downstairs room was crippling - base is in two halves placed horizontally and the "crack" went right under the base of my spine. If you're 165cm/5ft 6 - don't go.

Review 26：I was an easy drive from Shannon Airport, not too difficult on the left side of the road. The hostess was great abut welcoming us at 9:30 am, even though check-in was not until 3 or 4. It is very close to Bunratty Castle, also an easy drive, and a great afternoon adventure to start our trip Breakfast and host were great!

Review 30：Although I made a reservation as a single - Dunaree has not made any arrangements with Booking.com for a single rate and therefore was charged the full rate for the twin room. The web site indicates that it is a 10 minute walk from the bus stop in the village in Bunratty - this is understated by at least 5 minutes for a fast walker with no luggage. Perhaps the host should note that if the guest calls from stop that they will pick up.

During our stay we celebrated two birthdays; so Penny served a two candle cake, and Kevin a round of Irish coffees, which made our stay so extra special. Dunaree is perfect for Bunratty Castle; lovely gardens in a perfect setting with a high standard of comfort and personal hospitality. The best B&B in the South West by far.

Review 57：The delightful owners Penny & Kevin were so friendly and helpful. We arrived in Shannon after a transatlantic flight at 9am and went straight to Dunaree in hopes of storing our luggage. Penny greeted us at the door, offered us a pot of tea and a biscuit. She and her sister, Mary - also very sweet - quickly cleaned our rooms from the guests who had just checked out so we could take a shower and rest. Mind you the normal check in was 3pm or later. We had our rooms by 11am! No extra charge!! The B & B couldn't be cuter and cleaner. Great roomy beds, good sized rooms. Charming garden. The daily breakfast with multiple choices cooked to order were delicious! A short walk ( about 1/3 mile) to the Bunratty Castle and the cute town of Bunratty. One of the 3 nights we were there we were planning to walk to town for dinner and Kevin kindly offered to drive us as it had started to rain fairly hard. He dropped what he was doing and took us to the door of the restaurant. Penny & Kevin couldn't do enough for us. I would recommend this delightful B & B to anyone! Review 58：Penny not only accommodated our late check-in but received us with a huge smile. We immediately felt welcome in her home, and our stay at Dunaree B&B set high standards for the rest of our trip in Ireland. Penny also gave us a great recommendation for dinner at JP Clarkes, and the walk to and from the B&B is completely manageable. If you know you're going to be out late, though, I'd highly recommend bringing a flashlight as the road is unlit for quite a stretch. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and breakfast was delicious and relaxed. I hope to have a chance to come back some day!
