Centrally situated in Ossiach and 150 feet away from the beach of Lake Ossiach, the Stiftsschmiede Ossiach features its own restaurant serving freshwater fish and regional products, prepared on open fire in the former smithy. A sunbathing lawn with sun loungers is available.

Review 1：Nothing negative to really say about the place.
Review 2：The family owners are exceptionally customer focused, friendly and very helpful. The location is excellent to travel to so many nice places within 50 mins, just need to be careful when you come late down from Dobratch to watch out for Deer, The views over the lake are stunning and the peace and quiet is excellent to recharge the batteries and just 100m away is one of the most stunning churches I have seen in a long time
Review 3：Renovated with love and care, this old building is situated at the Ossiacher See in Southern Austria. The rooms are comparable more to suites than conventional hotel rooms, spacious and clean, with balconies facing part of the lake. The breakfast, which was fabulous, was served by the owner who also is the chef of the excellent restaurant housed in the building. Some may consider this place a little expensive, we thought it was worth every cent.
Review 4：There is not much to dislike. A couple of minor points, the bedroom was very warm due to under floor heating which you could not control and the walk in shower room whilst very nicely decorated was quite dark and an additional light in the shower area might be helpful
Review 5：A super location right on the edge of the lake. The restaurant down stairs had lots of atmosphere with excellent food prepared right in front of you. The bedroom was large with a lovely balcony making it a perfect location.
Review 6：We loved everything about this place. The location, spacious and comfortable rooms, super tasty breakfast and the friendly owner. The rooms are brand new and very cozy. The bathroom has a double sink and rain shower. Everything was super clean. Views of the lake from the balcony are spectacular. The breakfast is not a huge buffet table but rather a small but well thought selection of really good products that will satisfy everyone. The owner is very easygoing and friendly, made us feel welcome and relaxed. We will be back :).
Review 7：This is a family business. Everyone was so helpful and accommodating. We arrived late and they still served us dinner. When we had questions about the area they were happy to help. The room was better than expected. Comfortable bedding and fantastic shower.
