Reviews for Hotel Bodhgaya Gautam
Review 1:Larger room which was very comfortable and clean, with comfortable beds. We found the staff in particular was very attentive and helpful in suggesting places to visit and eat. The location was great, close to plenty of shops and city attractions.
Review 2:The location was excellent. Within walking distance (about 10-15 minutes) to the big buddha statue, thai monastery and other attractions. It is very clean and the rooms look very fresh. The bed was large and very comfortable. My room was on the second floor overlooking a big way, but it was quiet and no problems sleeping. The restaurant was small but had a nice dinner menu and the food was good.
Review 3:Rather surprising for this great budget hotel to turn out to be of a reliable quality as we enjoyed a comfortable stay within an affordable price range with an effective and impressive service.
Review 4:Nothing grand but clean room and facilities. Had a big window in room. Even though view was just empty patch, nothing blocks so can overlook surroundings in distance.
Review 5:One of the best b2b stay in bodhagaya. Rooms are clean and well maintained, food quality was OK. Staff is very co-operative and prompt room service as expected.
Review 6:Was in the city to visit all the temples and ended up staying at this hotel which to my pleasant surprise was an amazing experience. Rooms were spacious and much better than I had intially expected. Staff were friendly and polite and helped me all through my stay.
Review 7:I was not a great fan of the food and wished they could have more options available.
Review 8:Staying there in January, it was actually chilly. The hotel provided a space heater (on request) but it took until morning for the room to actually heat up to a barely tolerable level. Rooms are very spartan and room wasn't completely clean when we checked in, although they did clean it up right away. Spartan rooms, we had to request pillows to replace the small thin ones on the bed. Internet only in the lobby.
Review 9:The hotel was convenient location to all the temples of interest in Bodhgaya.
Review 10:Silly expensive. There is nothing special about the hotel but one is charged far too much. There was no heating and the old air conditioner that was brought did its inadequate best to blow heat the room. I caught a cold that night. Having given some laundry to some of the staff, they were waiting by the door to collect the money, which I then learned at the reception desk, was more than what I was supposed to pay. Average hotel, which should ask for average prices.
Review 11:Quiet as it was fairly far from the centre. Good wifi.
Review 12:staff of the hotel sometimes don't have the best mood.
Review 13:Clean, well maintained hotel catering mostly to foreign tourists in Bodhgaya. A bit away from the central, so it's a bit quieter. Rickshaws are readily available outside. Service is good.
Review 14:In town to visit all the temples, Gautam was a perfect option being close to all the temples and rates perfect enough with equivalent services to go with it.
Review 15:The rooms were spacious and good. After a long travel have clean and spacious rooms was a huge welcome. Food was tasty and the location was not very far from the all the locations of interest in Bodh Gaya.
Review 16:Nothing in particular.
Review 17:The Hotel is a budget hotel, perfectly neat and clean and the restaurant serves excellent food. Its very close to highway and still very close to the places you might love to see in Bodhgaya. Generally has a good occupancy of Budhist pilgrims.
Review 18:Great location, excellent staff and facilities.
Review 19:Lovely room & facilities; close to the temples ; great staff.
Review 20:Very welcoming staff, clean and comfortable room, great value. Breakfast was so-so but unimportant with everything else was at such a good standard.
Review 21:for the kind of price I paid I expect much more. The rooms were clean but shoddy. Menu is very limited.
Review 22:Reasonably clean. Staff were helpful.
